Worked perfect until the recent update. With version 22.4 (101) I no longer receive timely push notifications. I will request a push when authenticating and it will be 1 or 2 hours later when the expired notification shows up. It's worked flawlessly before 🤷
I no longer get notifications that I can approve. I have to open the app open the mobile authenticator and then hit submit. Still more convenient than typing in a code but would love to have the notification I can quickly approve back.
Fingerprint reads are still not consistently accurate. Cannot use pass code if fingerprint is set up.
Push notifications are not working at all. Very poor technical support and end user experience. A waste company.
App is completely garbage. App doesn't work half the time and the other half I dont receive notifications.
Edit #2: Push notifications are broken again! Not receiving any push notifications to authenticate, but instead have to manually go into the app.
Does not work well. Make accessing your computer harder. Takes more time because it is slow.
No longer can I approve from the app notification. This worked previously but no w most of the time I need to physically navigate to the app and open it before I can approve 2FA authorization. Every other notification based 2FA I use works flawlessly. This is just pain.
I'm not getting notification to approve as before I have to open app and enter manually code ...sometime I get delayed notification after I enter code and approve it
The app works really well for me to see what is going with my grades, email, etc. However, they need to fix the problem they have with android phones because it will not pull anything because it says it is not supported by the browser. Overall, it's a good and useful app. The bug or whatever it is having right now needs to be fixed so I can see my grades, please!
When it works it is ok. But it will not approve a log in request from the phone's notifications screen. I actually have to start the app before it starts to communicate and allow my work computer to log in. Sometimes I have to go all the way to the idaptive's notifications on order to activate the 2 step verification. Using this app is a work requirement
The app works very well to create a secure portal for Corporate Apps. Version 18.10 (127) which was released on Dec 4th has a bug with Web Apps on Android. If you have a previous version do not update. I sent them a message to put the previous version on the Play Store until they fix the issue.
Cannot approve from the notification. This used to work, but now no longer launches the app.
With the update I've lost all the tokens I had synced. I cannot complete the update because it was already installed on a work profile. Can't downgrade and hope the tokens are there so I can try to export them. There really should have been basic testing done before pushing this. At the very least let me keep my tokens.
My employer uses Centrify as 2 factor auth for everything. Once this app runs, it stays up and blocks the phone app from the foreground. As a result it is difficult to answer incoming calls once Centrify is running. I can work around this by closing the app after every authentication, but it is awkward and I often forget. It would be nice to have a bug report feature in the settings for issues like this (instead of writing them in a review).
Mostly works fine. Bad UI design issue: Approve and Deny buttons are in reversed positions. Please swap them so Approve is on the right. (This is a very basic UX/UI design concept.) Also, please stop changing your app/platform name! Centrify->Idaptive->CyberArk. Needlessly nonsensical.
Very intrusive application. It asks for permission for the following capabilities: to perform a factory data reset, to mess with my screen lock, among other things. The only thing I'm using this for is to verify my VPN password with two-factor authentication. I shouldn't need to grant all those permissions. The similar Centrify app does not ask for these administrator permissions, however, I am having trouble registering this device with the Centrify app (security certificate error).
It keeps saying not supported Close browser when chrome is the browser compatible with the app, just a waste of time when this happens. And a lot of login time.

Crashes nearly every time I use it
My login page always asks if I want to send a mobile authenticator request and I say yes. But only like 2 times ever have I gotten a notification. I always have to go in and click on the authenticator code instead of just approving the notification.
After the last update, it forces me to login again and the app lost the email 2nd authentication, replaced with a mobile push that doesn't do anything. Now I have to struggle with the Company I work for to find a way to access.
The app worked pretty good, until about last December it wont let me click on anything and it just says "connectivity error". Still get this issue till this day 🤦♂️. They gotta fix this asap
They need to make this app better cuz if you working with two or three different agencies you having issues and set up all these different passwords and username who can remember I know they need to fix these issues I don't care if it don't work I know they're going to pay me even though I can't log in or not
I can login at firt time, then I cant login after I logout Why??
Great experience--better than other apps I've used AND it is more secure with the way it authenticates you prior to letting you approve the request. Never had any issues like other reviews mention. It just works. The home page with my mobile apps is super convenient. I definitely recommend CyberArk Identity.
