Hate CenturyLink. Had this app & for some reason it signed me out. Now it doesn't recognize email name password nothing. Tried to call CenturyLink no one there to answer phones. Automation take you from the beginning of the menu to the beginning of the menu, so you never get a hold of tech support although they say they are available. It's frustrating. With this app just set it up where you can use your account number and a password. 2 verifications. Done.

I've had CenturyLink wifi for a fairly long time. I haven't been all that happy with the quality of my connection. I'm glad to have wifi period, because I live so far out in a rural area. The connection often drops very low or we loose it all together. I guess you would say it's intermittant. it comes to us through a landline. Seems like it should be better. Also , I think that CenturyLink's late fee is ridiculous. Way too much. I wish I could actually get the speed that I pay for.

The app successfully identifies devices connected to my wifi, gives me the option of "pausing" the connection to individual devices, says I have successfully paused the wifi connection BUT THEN NOTHING HAPPENS. The devices that are "paused" (in this a Roku and a PS4) continue to stream movies. Not sure if this is a modem or an app problem, but since both are CenturyLink, it is definitely a CenturyLink problem. I gave it two instead of one star, because it actually works, it is easily navigated

Don't bother. You can not report an outage. The troubleshooter does not complete testing or the app circles back to the beginning of the prompt to troubleshoot. Line checks do not work. However, if you are interested in upgrading to worthless internet or bundling useless packages or giving them money in any way, the app will complete the transaction.

The app itself is pretty good. I haven't had problems with the app, but centurylink is a terrible company. I used to really like it,but if you need to move your service or have a full install, don't bother contacting them about it. I was told 2 weeks before the 24th of March that my service would be switched over to my new place on the 24th, then they told me the 25th, then it was the 28th, and each time it's canceled from the app. Now it won't be until the 1st and I'm not a new customer.

The app never works. I've had centurylink for over 3 months now and not once has it worked for anything other than taking my money to keep this horrible service going. I have not been able to change the ridiculously long preset wifi password, I can't check to see who is on the wifi, and I can't even reboot my modem from the app. Once the app gets better it will get a better review.

I canceled a large payment that was set up in the app due to having to make 1 small payment before paying the balance and CenturyLink took all three payments! Created over $230 in overdraft and negative balance fees! Promised credit of $150 due to screwing up my bank account turned out to be a waiver of reconnect fees and 1 month credit. I am still trying to play catch up on my budget, which won't happen anytime soon. All due to an of error on CenturyLink's part for not abiding a cancelation.

I usually love this app. It's easy an convenient, but here lately it will not let me sign in to pay my bill. It keeps saying there are technical difficulties. Please try again later. If it wasn't for quick pay my bill wouldn't get paid online. I hardly ever use snail mail to make a payment. But I guess if the app is going to not work, I will revert back to sending in my payment. I really like the app for the convenience. Hopefully it gets fixed soon.

great app 👌 But lately it hasn't let me sign in. Also controls for connected devices has been not working in the internet settings. So when I pause a connected device it doesn't pause it lol it just continues being connected with data usage. Which I thought was the point of the pause connected device. So it couldn't use the data but still be connected. Idk. Just frustrating 😑 😒 😫 😕 😪

1. When you pay a bill online sometimes it takes a while to come out 2. When I "pause" some systems so my kids wont play on them whenever they feel like it, it resets or wont allow me to pause them. Very frustrating. I even messaged the chat and they are not very helpful either.

I like it but I wish it had more control features for the modem. Like the vox app has a really obvious "restart modem" button that I don't see here or the option to see which pods are connected and who's using the wifi. It's good for paying bills but extra features would be nice.

they have terrible service. my internet won't stay on for more than a few hours. the technician admitted that CenturyLink is at fault and they would credit my account for the two weeks my internet was out. not only did they not credit my account but they had the nerve to charge me a late fee when my bill was actually paid on time. as of today I'm cutting their service off. spectrum might be more expensive but I never had these problems with them.

From my own experience, attempting to use this app to figure out what is wrong with the internet is not worth the effort, I was better off just calling Century Link. Even after calling,I often can't get ahold of someone I can understand either because of service problems, or a language barrier. The overall quality of Century Link lately has been poor at best.

Service price is double Cox for basic show speed internet and it took 30days for a technician to hook up my NEW service. Customer service was horrible; spoke to 3 different people, received different information from each person, each of which was adamant they provided the correct information. Just all around a terrible experience. My complex only contracts with Century Link is the ONLY reason I have them.

Dor. J. May 16, 2022

bad customer service, if you can ever get through the bot that answers the phone and actually talk to a real person, who will also not be helpful. If this were not the only option due to requirements of apartment complex I would never use CenturyLink again.

Owe me credits for a total of almost 1 week without Service! Paid them on time, every month, still didn't get reliable internet. it fails during rain. Resolves after outage, but now they are claiming it's a line issue (internet fine now) so that makes no sense. They want to send a technician, and charge me $95! Um...no, I have paid them enough money. I'm switching back to Xfinity. Picking up today. 600 mbps same price as CenturyLink 140mbps. What happened to you CenturyLink? Terrible Service!

The app used to be great until a neighbor hacked my service. Now I can't do anything at all, can't change any passwords or networks and all of those options have completely disappeared. I basically don't have WiFi now.

century link is the worst possible internet and TV business to have. there are ones that are far better. the app isn't the greatest either. there should be a way that I can cancel the account. instead I had to call, be on hold for 20 mins, get transfered to 4 people and then be put on hold again.

Terrible service and the app is clunky. It has all my information but won't let me set up auto pay without re-entering it. Anytime you want to do anything besides simply paying your bill it takes you to the website anyways. I wish I didn't have to live with CenturyLink.

Ate. G. Apr 30, 2022

Worst internet service provider I have ever had. Inconsistent service, slow speeds and all of the issues are due to their equipment. If I had any other options, I would change providers immediately.

kev. m. Apr 2, 2022

I used the app to update the Valid Thru date on my credit card, but it failed to transfer that information to the CenturyLink computer system, so my Auto Payment failed and I had to have customer service remove the late charge and update my credit card information again over the phone. The app also failed to send me a notification that my account was past due, although it did tell me that my card would be expiring soon (?). Anyway, thank you customer service! Let's hope the app can be improved.

rox. s. Apr 24, 2022

The only problem I ever have with the app is sometimes, well alot of times it doesn't always show me connected devices under my products, so it is hard to control when to pause devices. It gets frustrating.

Wad. M. Mar 18, 2022

I set up a new account today, and now am unable to access it. I have been on my phone for over three hours, and was able to establish my new account, set up auto pay, and then went in to update my profile and was booted off your system. I tried backing completely and started to log in again using the exact same email address and password and the "system" says that either my email or password is not correct. I was very careful to verify signing in correctly only to have the same thing happen.

CenturyLink takes advantage of the fact that they have a monopoly in this area. Customer Service doesn't seem to know the products or services, and can't actually fix anything. It took a month to even get a modem to do a self-install, and then it didn't work. Took another week to get a tech out here to get us online. A week that they charged us for! I received the first bill, before I even had service! The ONLY positive was the local tech - friendly, knowledgeable and efficient.

Peg. M. Apr 24, 2022

I used to be able to open the app and see how many devices are connected and could group them for setting usage controls. I could also reset/restart the modem. I can't seem to find those functions now. Were they removed?

Been with CenturyLink for a little over a year and getting ready to cancel. Only went with them because at that time their only competition had data caps and charged excessively for overages. Originally, our PS4 (with everything else disconnected) was bringing in download speeds at around 15-16Mbps, but after the first year dropped to 4.1Mbps off of a 30Mbps plan for about $70. A new company came in with fiber and their service is over 90Mbps on PS4 on a 200Mbps plan, yet costs the same price.

I set up autopay. attached a creditcard. and have just been paying off the card as I could. did not know I was behind on payments. apparently your autopay doesn't function, or alert someone that it didn't charge them. the only reason I found out I was delinquent on my account, was because I briefly forgot the password, and tried to look it up online. That was when I found out I owed you almost a thousand dollars. And you were about to shut off my service. I paid you. You shut me off anyway.

When it got to personalizing (creating my own password), it failed and once again I had to call CenturyLink. As so many times before the call was disconnected. Although they had the callback number, they NEVER called back. This is the service I've come to expect from CenturyLink. Very disappointing.
