CetusPlay, Remote&Sideload

Regret purchasing this sooooo much. I―m still seeing ads which po's me very very much!!!! Doesn't work flawlessy AT ALL! Zero customizability for remote and button actions. On my Android TV box, long pressing home button does nothing except bring home so no way to close recent apps. Everytime you close app on ur phone, it either goes beserk and locates 5-6 devices on my network, doesn't see remote server or has to reinstall service! It crashes open apps like tv every single time... ALWAYS REQUIRES REBOOTING android TV... Devs contact doesn'T function. I asked to be refunded for this app via review but my review mysteriously disappeared! Do urself a favor and stick with free version.

It is working well with Android 9.0 Pie TV OS, but there is alot of delay with Android 10 TV OS. There are miniscule bugs, apart from that it is working effortlessly. I cannot customize Remote buttons in the app, which is really disappointing to be honest.

If an ad loads first instead of picking your connection it's guaranteed not to connect or work. I have gone through 50 ads and still not gotten connected multiple times. I'm fighting it right now. I can't help but feel this is intentional and your ratio isn't even close to fair or normal. In my opinion you're better off just going and buying a new firestick if you lost your remote.

Probably THEEE WORST Fire TV stick app ever. I've used 4 or 5 and no doubt this is by far the worst. Dont ever bother with it, SERIOUSLY!! That is, unless you like dealing with aggravation and stress. If you download it, don't go saying you weren't warned.

Im so happy and thankful to the developers for such an amazing app. It's the great apps. I love it. This app it does work 💯 % it make my TV box Remote control interface epic. The only suggestion I have is to integrate the keyboard interface between your cellphone to tv box device. Don't wait any minute more to download it. Thank so much for create this Awesome app.

Getting bad now. Not compatible with chromecast at all so thats a lie, not compatible with xbox. Not compatible with hardly anything. Gets an ad instantly before even connecting to something. Also keyboard hardly works. This used to be amazing but now it's rapidly going downhill

On RedMi Note 10 Pro (Android 12) the 'apps permission' only to "media" not to "files and media", unlike on android 9 ('apps permission' to "storage"), so 'Play on TV' feature can't used for displaying documents (txt, pdf) and we can't add 'local M3U files' on 'Live Channel' feature.

Last update ruined this app. Small buttons because half of the screen is reserved for very loud and annoying ads.

It is working fine with my android tv box but many button like ok button, home button are not working, in gamepad mode start, button is not working

the only button that works (2nd gen Fire Stick) is the home button, so what's the point??

Very easy to use!!! Got my smart tv connected in less than 2 minutes and I'm already navigating through it smoothly :) I'd give 10 stars for the cute design, especially the whale but there isn't any option to do so lol great app love it ♡

Nice app! If you manage add onmoveable box, people can use app continuously and they viewed add too

It does some things, but isn't a cure all. Here's an example: you can move the mouse with it, but you'll still need to hold your Amazon remote in the other hand bc I can't figure out how to get it to 'click' on something. I bought mouse remote for fire tv already, this is just one, easy to explain example, of why I'm uninstalling this mediocre product. Most every other function doesn't work in the same way. I'm annoyed. lol Cheers.

Very, very, very, in fact, extremely uncrupulous deceptive and intrusive ads. Many of the function buttons look like remote control functions and mislead one to unwittingly click on them and then you are forced to sit through 30 seconds of the commercials on your device. On top of that, they have a button that attempts to trick you into rating it five stars therefore it calls into question the entire validity of any reviews.

This remote app started working just fine, and I WAS very happy with it. Then the "OK" button completely stopped working on the dpad. Now I have to use the mouse to navigate my Kodi box which is difficult to control, then bounce back to the dpad to scroll up and down. Its a total headache! I liked the dpad. What's the problem??? I uninstalled and re-installed twice... Still doesn't work. Needless to say I'm NOT happy right now CetusPlay! Update....now it stopped working completely. I deleted it. I'm done with CetusPlay.

The App has a lot of features, however the mouse multi touch does not seem to work. This can lead to a lot of input switching if you are using it as a controller for Android TV, Chromecast devices, etc. The options for different interfaces is very handy (switching between d-pad, mouse, and keyboard) and if improved has great potential.

Essential app(s) for my phone and Firestick. my only complaints with it are sudden losses of connection, touch/dpad stops working but mouse remains working, and finally ... upon connecting the app would try to install the reciever to my Firestick every time I connected, and I am unable to use any of the remotes to control the Firestick. When it is not acting up things are wonderful.

The app has great potential. When it works, it's one of the best and most convenient apps out there. The problem though is that it doesn't stay working. One second it is working and the next second the connection just fails and gives a warm time to reconnect and this happens way too often. Next prob is that the keyboard function doesn't really work. If these are worked on, it would be one of the best apps out there.

I loved this app. It's just amazing. I can't find any another app with almost all features like this. It helps me very much. It is very very useful. It has different remotes. And also it automatically installs cetus play remote receiver in tv. That's what I loved. It automatically installs without any work for us. It also provides keyboard. And casting photos and videoes and many other things. We can also share apk files etc. Go and download now, if you are looking for app like this.

At last count, I believe I tried 9 different remote apps that didn't work well before trying this one. Not to mention the ones I couldn't even try because I don't have an IR blaster on my device..This remote actually does what the description says and more. I really like all of the extra features and built in guides. I have worked in IT most of my life but, no coding experience. sSo, I know it is time consuming to develop a quality app. I just know that it is a real sanity saver. Great job 👍

Perfect for when you can't find you're physical remote. Works well. Smooth interface

No device found may be it's due to im using phones hotspot and not some wifi router.

Wanted to love this app especially after watching the video and seeing the mouse toggle function but no such luck. The tutorial link takes you to Kodi apps, not to links on how to make Citus function properly. Also most of the buttons on the remote function do not seem to work. I'm assuming my issues are mostly user error but again this is where the tutorial section should come into play. Would have had no issues purchasing add free IF it had met expectations. Sadly I may just uninstall and stick with the Firestick remote app. No mouse toggle but at least I can get it to work. FYI... Cetus, your replying with a stock response that says NOTHING is actually worse than no response at all.

I tried to connect it but not working, im using SHARP AQUOUS Smart TV, is this device support the apps?

This app is really good and helpful! My concerns are (1) the remote does not float on lock screen instead, an advert! Kindly upgrade to float on lock screen. (2) It's difficult to reconnect to tv after exit! Kindly upgrade to store previously connected devices for easy reconnection by just a tap on smartTV (3) When TV turned off with this app, the standby light doesn't come on! When that happens, you can't turn on TV with neither remotes unless you unplug and plug tv again. Please fix it! Thanks

Initially would have given five stars and even upgraded to ad-free, after only 2 weeks have to switch from mode to mode in order to select and scroll through menus in various apps. After researching and trying several apps, I finally found what I believed was the best Android TV/box remote control. However, now it's just a pain to use and will have to be uninstalled once a comparable replacement is found, unless Devs fix before then.
