Chainsaw Warrior

Really recreates the experience from the tabletop version, definitely worth a try if you like a challenge and like simple but intereractive gameplay.

Game has no end graphics or screen when you die -- which is weird, 'cause you die *all* the time. 🤔 ....and the Implosion Vest doesn't work. 🤬

Hours of struggling against overwhelming odds await. Great fun, and easier to play on the bus than the original board game would be. Updated 2020: really buggy on a more modern phone. Can't die, slime makes the game hang... very sad. Still five stars as this is wonderful on an older phone, but it looks as though it will be impossible to play on contemporary hardware unless there's an update. Fingers crossed...

Difficult. Unforgiving. These are understatements. Chainsaw Warrior was the blernsball of '80s card games. You will lose repeatedly. People who cheered Harry Potter catching the golden snitch will detest this game, because CW is about the other team, winning 135 to 0, only to lose the match at the last second because all of your hard work was just jazz hands for the crowd while dumb luck decided the real outcome. This game is for people who don't mind seeing the bad guys win. You'll see it a lot.

Buggy and almost unplayable. I really like the game but it has fatal bugs. i faced the Darkness so many times, when i roll the die enough to kill it the game freezes. Sometimes freezes before darkness too. So sad it would have been a 5 star game if not this much buggy.

Good overall but it's disappointing the developers didn't program the bits where the mission is a failure. It also needs Darkness to have difficulty scaling.

Many of the in-game buttons and controls are completely unresponsive on my latest phone, making the game now unplayable.

Safe to assume the developers won't ever respond to the fact that the game glitches at the end. Lazy attitude for an expensive game.

This game has lots of bugs on galaxy 5 and is unplayable, which is a shame as the game it'self has been faithfully recreated and if it was bug free it would be a 5 star review. Hopefully they will work out the bugs doo.

Doesn't work on pixel 2. Game loads but won't let you click on anything.

The dev had 2 games out, Chainsaw Warrior & Chainsaw Warrior lord of the night, I owned both,they have taken the other away after charging for the game, refund?

great translation of a classic board game. yes it relies more on chance than skill, but its still a fun diversion and i find it an incredible breath of fresh air compared to the onslaught of crappy microtransaction-laden grindfests and/or bad match 3 games typical of the platform.

This game is great. Its had my attention for hours. Experimenting with the different device loadouts is compelling, mainly because it is the only thing you have ANY control over. Sure there are other choices you can make, but its all in the end a game of chance. Something I feel wasn't well captured was the feel for the games egregious tone. When I think of chainsaw warrior, I think of buckets of blood, akin to the feel for other products of the time like "heavy metal" the movie. Also, too expensive.

This game accurately simulates what it would be like to be an '80s action hero fighting...zombies and things. Armed with a chainsaw. Sometimes. This games is a straight copy of the board game, itself a product of '80s board game design which holds randomness above all else. It doesn't pull it's punches, and all those punches will be to the groin or kidneys. You have been warned.

I have a LG G3 and the game opens and then closes after two seconds. All I see is the black screen and the games workshop logo, and then closes. I've also uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I would love to play this gem but I can't. Fix or refund please. I would like to leave a five star rating if you help.

It's certainly smoothly made and well presented, but the game is awful. It's more or less just snakes and ladders, or Ludo, and boils down to mindlessly flipping cards and rolling dice. Your equipment choice does matter, but once you learn the optimum spec after a few goes, it just comes down to pure luck. At least Talisman is more forgiving.

Monotonous linear gameplay. While it might be a good replica of the single-player board game, this is a form of entertainment of a simpler age. Right direction, wrong game. A port of space hulk with multiplayer would have been more in the right direction.

Crazy hard given the fact it's all luck with the dice. Nice to see a super soldier not save the day in 60 minutes or less

As an old school board-gamer and Games Workshop fan, to have Chainsaw Warrior in 'digital' form squeezed into my phone is pure Awesomesauce! Battle Darkness in bitesize chunks or spend all day slaying the Zombie horde - whatever you choose you'll not find a more addictive mobile 'strategy' game, born in the 80's, updated for the 21st Century! [Warning] VERY addictive! Think Rogue-like Solitare ;-)

Casio G'zOne. The blood splatter after a fight does not go away. I have to tab out of the game to clear it. The intro movie had a lot of clipping problems with the display.

Doesnt even load up anymore. Displays the games name, goes black, then returns to the phone display. Need a refund
