Their delivery is prompt and after sales service is good but the app itself is junk. Messy UI. Unintuitive. Have to go back every time to look for an item. At least have the option to filter out of stock items. If they're out of stock what's the point of showing them? You have to scroll through hundreds of out of stock items to get to one particular item. You guys have been in business for a while now. A reasonably good app is the least consumers can expect.
Sometimes, their egg boxes have one or two broken eggs in them but you can use them up most of the time. But I haven't gotten broken eggs in the last two/three deliveries. I like that their staff is very trustworthy and you don't have to match the products with the reciept, they always match. Also, they have a very good range of products with affordable brands. Refresh feature to see updated stock would be nice, and also an edit feature to edit order within a particular timeframe.
Pathetic organization. They don't know how to do marketing. There is always a limit for everything. Sending offer notifications, texts continuously and calling in odd time will not hold your customers, rather than creating annoyance. I am opting out my self from Chaldal. Uninstalling your app and blocking the the numbers of Chaldal. Morons!
It's been while now that chaldal become a great online groceries website. But the app is so irritating and you guys don't even update it. I can't read the product description but more importantly search bar doesn't work properly, i have to get back every time to the food categories to find the products. I think it will be helpful if you guys solve app issues.
Despite their services, their app is one of the worst app I have ever seen. The search does not work, menu does not work, Selecting category doesn't work. It's laughable that a platform based on E-commerce can not afford competent app developers.
The app is very easy to use and user friendly. If you order something then chaldal will call you to confirm the order and I think its a very good system. The delivery is never late. It's always on time. But still people aren't giving enough credits to this app. Very underrated.
They show products on app, but after placing order and making online payment they say they don't have the product on the store and suggest to buy something else, which is very unprofessional. Also, their customer care calls repeatedly to buy something from them, which is very annoying. Never going to buy anything from chaldal.
Signing out and uninstalling this app for good. Very poor quality service at Gulshan area. They LITERALLY NEVER deliver their products at the available preferred time slots. I don’t know why they keep this option of so-called "time slot" instead of mentioning "any time today/tomorrow/we don't know when". Also never buy fruits, and other perishable items from them. Only perk of their service is the eggs are cheap.
I love Chaldal app! I use it for all my grocery shopping needs. Safe, Simple, Fast, it has your everything you could essentially need. Great Customer Service whenever you need them. They provide the most friendly, fast and knowledge service to fix any problem or issue. Although, I will recommend to change the UI color, I don't like that yellow color.
Someone, who's in charge of chaldal should be congratulaled for the customer first policy that they have. Anytime there is a product missing, there team provides that item immediately next day without any great fuss. If any item is not good, I can easily return that item during delivery. Their service and behavior of the whole team, delivery personel, live chat team and call support is very welcoming. The app itself is also very good. Overall excellent app and service.
I used this app to order product on 27th Oct 2019 around 7:30pm (some breakfast items among others) & it was supposed to be delivered the next morning between 8-9am. However, it was only delivered after 11am. If i hadn't made the payment in advance with my Visa card then i would have returned the parcel instantly. I opened the app to report the issue but there was no such option!!!!!!!! There should be a receive option where receiver can confirm receive & report any uncertain issue.
Horrible system and service. They allow orders to be placed on certain products because it is shown to be in stock, they even affirm the order and items over the phone. Then, without any notification whatsoever, they remove items that are out of stock. They lie to you about items in stock, and then when you ask for an explanation, say that is how the system works. You cannot promise me that something is in stock, only to remove it at your convenience on the DAY of the delivery.
Misleading order system. They show all the items available when selecting, then during checkout they show payment for only available items, which is confusing. I ordered 4 items, payment was 850-ish, then suddenly in checkout I saw only one item in my cart and payment of 259tk, which is misleading. Improve your inventory update system.
I had the worst experience with this service. Firstly, they couldn't take the order to my home (which is understandable given the quarantine situation). Secondly, I couldn't check the entire order by each item since there were the police roaming around and I just had to receive the package and rush to home. Anyway, when I came home and checked the order by items, I discovered 3 items worth 555 tk were missing from the package. Now, I tried to contact them but there's no response from their side.
Great service by the Chaldal team but the app UI on both the platforms (Google & iOS?) needs more user-friendly options such as tracing any order via order number & also the ability to edit order within a stipulated time. Also would be nice to add a back button from any sub sections to either the main section or home.. keep up the great work, it makes hectic Dhaka life a bit more relaxing & modernized..
Good reviews here must be given by them. Very low quality product. Over-priced. Shame on them for benefitting from selling 3 times overpriced Covid-19 items. Sometimes free items with purchased products are not provided. Extremely low quality vegetables. I am guessing they don't bother with their suppliers. Delivery date is just always unreliable. Wait for atleast another 3/4 days from the day they are supposed to deliver. Very poor customer care. I would definately avoid buying electrical goods
I was bound to delete the app was because of the annoying push notifications they kept sending all day. They might want to take that factor into consideration. Also they made a mistake in delivering goods 9/10 times. Their deliveries are always super late and NEVER on time, I repeat never. Just switched to pandamart, that's a much better service.
a helpful app offcourse. but needs a lot, lots and lots of upgrading. needs to develope It's notification and confirming system. what i faced was, in case of my maximum orders they did not send me a confirmation message. also order sometimes multiplied although it wasn't confirmed. so i got the same parcel twice a day, and had to say the delivery man to cancel the order., these kind of hassle is really not expected. please develop the app, and also upgrade your shop too...
They always try to stock all the necessary products, while the competitors in Bangladesh lack in this regard. Their delivery schedule is more like same day delivery, rather than 1 hour delivery. That's okay. Apart from all the good things, their current system doesn't support email change. I have continuously requested them to change my email address, their answer is to open a new account. Also, they don't provide any benefits for long time regular customers.
Absolute rubbish service. Installed the app on one fine winter morning. Ordered some stuff that didn't get delivered, even inside 24 hrs within a Dhaka City address. Eventually cancelled the order and uninstalled the app the following fine winter morning as a thank you for wasting my whole day. I guess some things are better left to be done via the good old-fashioned "manual" way.
Look first i used this app and it was great... After my 5th order it's worst-ever and i am also confused about the weight of the goods....today i order 28 items but the delivery man left 11 items off...so i have to wait more than 4 hours for all the product.. 1st it comes with lot's of offer and discount but now i think it’s going costly Better use your local market or Super shop for a confidence shopping........
Their service is quite poor. Though they provide fresh products but their service is not up to mark.. take so much time to deliver products comparing to other grocery shopping providers. Also can't see who's delivering my products so it's too much troublesome to call customer service everytime they delay to deliver the products..From my overall experience I will really not recommend anyone chaldal unless or untill they haven't other options.
Good app. Ordered several times. Please add following features: 1. Clear cart button to remove all items from cart. 2. Refresh feature to refresh the list to check current available stock. 3. When navigating to a list, such as Food > Breakfast > Jam & Spread, give a back button on top left, so that user can go back to the breakfast category list. 4. Please add discount offers for 3,4,5 times order or more (similar to Website) Others: Try to provide recyclable bags to deliver items if possible
Kind of confusing when tapping the Add Items to Cart button. When I already placed an order, and if I want to add extra items the add items to cart button works improperly. It should be fixed asap. Needs to be improved!!
Worst online grocery store. This was my first order(prepaid), for verification of my payment they took 1hr later they told it will be reaching today before 6pm and still no updates or any information. This why you do business? Its not good, need to change your speed and improve your app so we know the status of order live. My colleague referred me to use this website, and this is what happened. Thanks
Worst service!! 🤮 All the time they delivered their product very late.. and I ordered some groceries 3 hour ago bt delivery time is out now, so I texted them in live chat bt they didn't reply. I called in help line bt no one was connecting.. they didn't use any packing system to delivered their product. So please don't install this apps and don't waste ur valuable time.. their service is very low. Bt product is not bad
The app is alright. But delivery time and item missmatch is becoming a regular annoying feature. Which should be the most important feature, is getting bad. Frustrating for the last few weeks. And it is not getting better. Almost always an hour or more late (once 3 hours). And no compensations offered like other companies.
