Chamy - Color by Number

I downloaded this app ages ago and use it every now & then for a bit of colour therapy BUT how the hell am I meant to chill & mentally relax when the ads have quadrupled in number!! There is no more relaxing while using this app - if there was a small but it outright fee, I would contemplate it BUT no way in hell I'm paying a subscription when I only use it when I need.. So disappointing.. WARNING: If you don't like ads, do not install!!

Nice app with exception to the Daily Picture option. They seem to all be of people in the month of May so far. There was greater variety with interesting artwork for the past two years I have used it. May need to delete and check out newer options for interesting variety.

Very nice and easy to use. Just wish all was free. I have begun having a problem with the way the multiple colors are provided. When I play sometimes I like to color 1 screen section using all the colors that are needed at that time. Then I will go to another section. When going back to a previous color it will not work right. The colors want to go to the beginning find block or skip to the end instead of the color block I want.

Opened tis app for the first time and it froze up. Not a good start. I been playing for a little while, and while I love it and the pictures, where does one find the hints when stuck on a cell you cant find. other games offer a way to get free hints. Thank you. Things are running better since the last update. Still running slow in loading pictures.

I was thoroughly enjoying this app. After a few days of it working perfectly fine and signing up for a free trial of the premium version it kept loading and getting stuck. Even when the pics load I try to click one it freezes up completely. If this hadn't happened I would have paid for the year in a day or two. Sad cause most have way too many ads and dont work as well.

If you have a few minutes free this is a good way to fill them. I kind of wish it had some background music - I think that would make it feel less stilted. The designs are really cool and I like the finisjed product, but the actual process of colouring in is quite repetitive, and in a very intricate design it can get frustrating. Adverts are unintrusive. Premium content is available free if you agree to watch an advert. No offline mode, I don't think.

i really like the game for the beautiful illustrations and there's a difficulty range. great app to pass the time n relax. what i don't like, however, is that you need to be connected to choose new projects to work on, so it's not much of an on-the-go thing. it would be nice if there was a starter pack, like the 1st week that you downloaded, for instance, and if additional packages were locked but downloadable, so the user would know that NOT every illustration is available when they click on it.

I give it 5 stars because the graphics and pictures are so amazing but the only issue I have with this app is the amount of ads. But even with the ads, it's absolutely amazing! I LOVE this app. The way things show up in the picture when you color it is so cool. Like in a Winter picture, you color the sky blue and all of a sudden snowflakes appear. Or when you're coloring something and different textures show up and make it seem so realistic!

I really like this app, but the ads use a LOT of processing power to run, making the app slow to respond while the ad is loading. (Or running, if it's a "moving" ad.) It's frustrating because it means you can't move the picture to the area you want to work on until the ads cooperate! I don't mind ads in general - maybe you could just require them to take less than a certain amount of bandwidth?

After the first install I selected a picture and it just froze. It never loaded. 2 minutes and nothing. Try to get support through the app - could not do that because it's frozen Can only communicate with you through this rating process. Help PS> the graphics look pretty cool. Shut down, restart, things are working pretty good right now. Much, much better to be able to fill-in a group rather than just one color at a time. working great now!

I am revising my review based on the most recent update. I enjoyed the coloring, but the app stopped loading. Two reloads, even after it was reported fixed, and there was no change. The third try, however, seems to have been a charm. Please don't update it like that again!! I have other coloring apps. I enjoy this one because the pictures have a wider variety and the animals are colored as they should be (I hate it when a blue cat or green rabbit spoils an otherwise nice picture). In addition, this app has shading on some of the pictures that give it a truly painted effect. The wood seems to have a grain, the sky fades in areas and berries have a sheen. This app also doesn't hide tiny areas of color so that you have to constantly use hints. It is far more relaxing. What I don't like is the large double row of colors, added to an advertisement bar that take up a third of the screen. Also, there are often shades of grey that make it very confusing. Maybe a hatched or dotted grey for the highlighted areas to be clicked?

I do like it, I just wish there was a pay once option to kill the ads, not a subscription. I'm quite happy to watch an ad to unlock a picture, but not between every picture. Also, since your last update, I have found a bug. After completing a pic, it does not go back to the library. It lets you tap the button, and even clears the screen after you do so, but then it just goes back to the completed picture screen. You have to restart the app to see the library.

SO FAR, SO GOOD. I love the way it paints. It just takes a very slight tap to color the area you want painted. I've used other coloring apps and this is the easiest. I wish they would have more realistic type subjects though with more colors. Sometimes I find the subjects a little too simplistic. A little too many child coloring book type pictures.

I love this app when I first started using it about a week ago. but today it has stopped working. No matter what I do it won't start. I even uninstalled it 2 times. Before this problem I loved the colors, and I especially liked the way the colors filled in and that you could see 10 colors on a screen. but I don't like where buttons are on the screen and I hit them accidentally and get kicked out of the app. Please fix the crashing. I want to play this. I would purchase but price too high.

After the bugs were fixed and after I updated the app, the app worked perfectly for about a week. Now when I open the app to play it, it is LOADING REALLY SLOW and RUNNING REALLY SLOW too. It takes about 2 minutes after I finish a picture to get to the home screen so I can pick another picture to color. then if it's loading to slow most of the time it will stop working and then I have to send feedback. I REALLY LOVE this app but it's starting to be a headache to play🤦😪😥.

I'm an avid fan of this company and their previous app PixelArt, and while this app itself is really enjoyable I have to say I'm disappointed by how much it costs just to upgrade. The subscription aspect itself doesn't bother me but the pricing is absolutely extortionate. I'd love to upgrade but I simply can't afford to do so and as such I'm stuck with images I can't colour as their videos assigned to unlock simply don't load. Overall there's a lot to be disappointed about, but it's still fun.

The game doesn't detect when you press on a colour very well at all. It's very annoying having to press the same area 3 or 4 times before it colours it. Not had this problem with other similar games. Also it colours in very slowly compared to other apps. There is no indication of how much colour is left. The main screen & pictures load very very slowly. The developers should try other colouring games to get an idea of how this type of game should be made. Some pictures are nice.

This app is a lot of fun - very relaxing. I have been looking for other coloring apps for quite a while and there are not many out there. The subscription plan is pretty reasonable too. The pictures are good quality, which I have come to expect with this company (I also use PixelArt which has great quality images as well). My only minor issue is that I use a stylus with my Galaxy Note 8 and when zoomed in the image doesn't scroll using the stylus, I have to use my finger. Only a minor issue though. Overall it's fun and addictive. Great job!

This is a really fun little app, but suffers from being unbelievably samey after a while. It seems almost every picture contains the same themes: leaves, flowers and white women with long hair always in pastel shading. Of course, there are deviations from this theme, but even those tend to use the same colour palettes (pink astronauts and animals, anyone?) It would be really great to see a larger variety of themes and particularly colours used. Still, it's a joy to play and super addictive.

It's an amazing coloring app! It has a ton of issues though. Like when you get done coloring a picture, it doesn't want to load the next picture. When your scrolling down & browsing through pictures to color it glitches & the screen shakes really badly. You have to completely close out the app & restart it almost 3 times for it to work, only to have to do it every time your done coloring 😢

I use many coloring apps because I do so much coloring!! I like this one because it gives me a finished product in a short time. I love the palette where I can use one color after another, without any problem. The other coloring aps you need to organize your thinking and do a number at a time. Both are great fun and relaxing when that is what I need!! Games used to be my forte', but now it seems to be coloring.

Like this app, the only problem is that when your trying to increase or decrease the size it doesn't move smoothly and sometimes not at all. secondly, not all of the numbers enlarge enough to see them. You need a magnifying glass which is annoying. Other than that I do enjoy the the coloring and the selection of pictures you have.

Very nice App. I would definitely recommend, especially if you need to concentrate, or you need quite a few minutes to calm down. The more drawings you complete the more complex and/or plentiful the paintings get. Would have loved to have all of them available off-line, but I was able to go in and paint on piece and it saved it in "My Works" but, it is a little annoying to pre-see the first color. Fix that feature and I think anyone can deal with the adds.

3-30: so far so good. I dont care for how it highlights where the color goes. I would like it better if I had to search update 4-16: been playing for almost a month now, and love it. the new counter on the colors is great. love the animation. BUT I still not a fan of how it highlights where the colors go. maybe in next update there can be an option to turn this feature off, do it can be a bit more of a challenge

The app seemed to not be able to load ny pictures even with wifi/data turned on. The images just keeps loading. Even after i close and open the app again it is still the same. Before the update i didnt have any problems with the app. But after the update the app doesnt seem to work properly like before. It seems like it is taking forever to just load 1 image.

I like this. although your color bar seems to fly over far too much when looking for a particular number to color. its either all the way to the left or all the way to the right. no in between until you fight with it for awhile. ( i have 8 other coloring apps on my phone). this is up on the scale but that color bar needs attention. thanks.

there is a lot of potential, here. BUT, the previews are too small. the individual pictures have a lot of detail in them, that you cant see in the small previews. when you click on a picture, it should fill the screen so you can see detail. there are way too many LONG commercials and not enough pictures yet, not enough to warrant purchasing the no commercial version.
