What is Charaft?
We are an avatar design service that began as a web page in 2017. We have grown popular as a service that allows you to design intuitive, video game-like characters, coordinate their styles, and change their outfits, making beautiful, adorable characters that appear as though they've been drawn into being.

My download time didn't take that long, and usually I'm not a very patient person. At maximum, it was about 9 minutes. All those one star reviews shouldn't discourage you from getting the app; it's actually a phenomenal character maker. The only thing that takes away a star is that I can't download my image. I click the video viewing button, and nothing happens, nothing freezes, just acts like you never did anything. Pretty frustrating. Overall, it's great if you can live without having the image
This app is awesome! X3 The only problem is everytime I try to save a character or watch an ad to get free coins or more diamonds, it's not giving me the option to. When I try to save a character, it says that my network isn't connected while the options of getting coins and diamonds are not accessing any ads and i only got one once.
Unlike most reviews say, the app only took less than 30 minutes to download for me. Besides that, it downloads in the background, so you can play other games while waiting for it. There's lots of great clothes for girls available, but the boys clothes are all locked, even the basic face customizations and etc. Of course there's the "watch ads for reward" thing, but my device can't load the ad for some reason. Overall it's good if you plan on creating lots of girls for free.
Would give full five stars if I could actually download the characters. Don't get me wrong the art is absolutely gorgeous and very professionally done, so I have no issues with ads and even paying for the boy options. These guys totally deserve it for the work they put in. However whenever I choose to watch a video to download the image... nothing. No video ever plays.
Very bad game. Expensive to get coins and diamonds. The way this game is made is complicated. Takes so long to load an item and change the appearance and you will spend a long time making the OC you wish. You also need to buy the item and the color you want which is frustrating and stupid. Few options and designs. Don't download or pay for this app cause it's not worth it, trust me.
The app isn't working for me. I tried uninstalling and downloading it twice, still hasn't stop. All it tells me that it's acquiring data, never pass from that point on the first screen. Yes,I admit the artworks beautiful and I was really excited to play it. but it never opened so now I'm disappointed.
As far as character creation, customization, and dress up, this is a fantastic app! There are so many different things to choose from to piece together your own character and outfit, and every combination is unique. Unfortunately, there's no way to save your creation without making an account. Also, if more of the app were translated to English, I'd be able to understand the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. I'd like to know what I'm agreeing to before I make an account.
I gave a good review because the art looks absolutely stunning. The only issue is the load page. I waited for about twenty minutes but it was loading up to 1097. It is super cute art style but I was expecting a reasonable loading time not an entire day wasted. Again I love the style but if you are wanting a simple and quick anime style game I would not suggest this. If you have the time then I give five stars.
Never even got to try it. Had to open it three separate times to even get it to start loading and after 25 minutes of waiting only 32 out of 622 items loaded, I'm still waiting and hoping that the game does eventually load but I've already lost 10% battery from having to leave my screen on while it loads so it doesn't disconnect.
I didn't get a chance to play the actual game because of the loading screen. It took a long time and it even kicked me off the app. I got back on and the loading restarted even though I only loaded about 4-7% into the game itself. I don't like how long the loading screen is and it's really annoying to have to wait probably half an hour when I just want to play this game.
I do not recommend this app if you are looking for creative/colorful character design. When I tried to open the app it took 2 hours to load and, when it finaly finished, it crashed. Then I tried to open it again and it had to restart loading from 0 all the way to 601--1... 2... 3 4... 5... 6... 7 8 9... 10... 11....
First of all nobody likes wait n/610 to use the app maybe exist some exceptions but isn't the case and I suggest you have everything in English I don't think everyone knows Japanese, and the Premiun version, is better when you just can use it and just that, for example I install this app because I thought that I can desing a character and that kind of things I wasn't waiting to pay another version to have more choices to create. But congratulations for the draws
Nice game! Many items to choose from ~ I am patient when waiting for the downloading of data for the game (622 items have to be downloaded btw), but this game crashes alot! I take a long time creating a single character in this game and when i try to save it, the game crashes. Until now, i don't have a single character saved lolol
Pretty much non existent, doesn't work about more the half the time, freezes, shuts down, takes hours to load up each time. People who gave it more the one star are more then likely paid or bots, something is wrong. It's not like it's just my phone either, we used several different devices, none worked.
After multiple attempts to get through the starting download (nearly every attempt being met with the app crashing and exiting) I had finally gotten through downloading all the files only for it to not even let me play it. Every time I open the app I'm met with the "unfortunately Charaft has stopped" message, I am very disappointed in this as I had high hopes for this. I hope this will be fixed soon. I have reported this to the creators themselves but I am still highly disappointed over this...
It's pretty good and easy to control. My only complaint is that whenever I try to download it tells me to watch an ad; which I'm fine with. What I'm NOT fine with is the fact that I was only able to download 3 pictures and all of a sudden it doesn't wanna work anymore! Please find a way to fix this and the game would be so much easier to work with download wise. (─.─||）
its a really awsome app, the designer are great and they have all kinds of styals, however, whenever I try to save any of my characters that I create, it just kicked me off and I lose all the work I put into creating that character, I would really like that fixed.
The apps style and art is amazing and you could probably make amazing characters if it wasn't for the fact that it takes so long to load and you can't even turn off your phone while it's loading to save battery power otherwise you will have to start all over again. It would be great if it didn't need that much time to load.
Good game. However, everything for the boys is locked. And many options require buying Premium. Not all of us have or want to spend money on a game. I downloaded this to make beta versions for a story, but I think this is a fun game. Also, MORE CUTE FREE shoes! The shoes are adorable.
I really like this app! But why is it crashing or not saving my photos? When i first got it it workes fine now its crashing. Okay whats is wrong? Before i could save mt characters just fine now each time I try to save it crashes out. Please help???? Its not saving at all hours of work all gone to moment i press save it blanks out and goes to my phone page.
I like the app. It has a lot of options to make a character. However even after paying their subscription price, you are still limited to a lot of outfits, left/right hand things, and much more. You cannot zoom in on the character's face very much, you cannot change the nose at all. You cannot undo the last thing you added without resetting lot of options or resetting the whole thing. Coins and diamonds are fairly expensive to buy let alone use. Most of the app is in Japanese. Disappointed 😔
