Can't create account it tells me I need 10 digit phone number but here in Tunisia we have 8 digit phone number + 3 digit for the country code that is 11 digit so I can't create account... and if I skip the map show nothing
You can actually skip signing up for an account, but incredibly, while it goes to the main map (so it clearly works without an account) it won't even show charging stations. Wow that's terrible. Uninstalled. Edit: yeah, plugshare offers that too, without an account. You just use filters; it's not hard. You still fail to understand, the account clearly isn't necessary, which means the only point of this app is harvesting your data, not actually being useful.
This is the EV app I've been waiting for. It was super easy to setup my account and our two cars. Being able to easily see what each station offers for power levels right on the map is a great feature and the trip planning tool takes out a lot of guess work. Suggestion: please add station reviews in a future update. Thanks!
Seems like a good start but still have a ways to go. App says poor internet connection. I'm 5 feet from the router, full wifi signal and surfing the web fine otherwise. I promise it's not me, it's you. Nothing else seems to load or work on the app but you can see a shell of what they're looking to accomplish. Fix that up and you'll have a decent app.
Cumbersome to use. Have to create an account and log in to see even basic information (even when similar programs let you see the same information without registration). Felt they had to reinvent the wheel by coming up with their own color and number coded system for chargers even though a standard already exists. Just all around a confusing waste of phone storage space.
A confusing app to say at least. After seeing it recommended over and over again on a group I'm in, I downloaded this to try. The app attempts to make finding charging locations easier, however it's already pretty simple and intuitive in the plugshare app and you can find more in the plugshare app.
I'm unable to login or even sign up Update: I found the problem. My font size was too large and I couldn't see all the explanation. Chargeway responded quickly to my concerns and explaned how the app works with various charge station providers.
By far one of the best EV charger & route planning apps available currently. Nice interface too. Just wish they'd offer the ability to add stations and report edits directly within the app. Having Android Auto integration would take this over the top.
This is the most user friendly EV app, hands down! It makes finding stations for my car very simple with power levels and plug types right up front. I have a first gen LEAF and this app has saved me a few times from making mistakes. A must have for any EV owner.
Positive reviews are from employees not the public. App is confusing, inaccurate and requires registration to use even though you're not using their stations. App idea great but its duplicating PlugShare which is owned by a charging provider and is free to use & share info on. Chargeway wants to be a platform but their self imposed barrier to entry requiring a phone number & access to contacts to even use the app is short sighted. Its time to remove the EV ownership barriers not create new ones
Great app if you are new to the world of EVs and EV charging. Just plugged in that I drive a Model 3, and Chargeway showed me what chargers are compatible with my car! One you understand Chargeway's color and number system, it's simple and easy.
The bottom line is that if the developers are repeatedly having to explain the purpose of their app in the review section, then the app itself isn't doing that job. I am still very unclear as to why I need this app on my phone when Plug Share and ABRP do what this app does only better. And without demanding a phone number.

Good idea, bad implementation. Doesn't support optional charging, Zero Motorcycles, or adapters. Not ready for prime time. No way to preview stations for arbitrary vehicles.
Not nearly as customizable as the competition (ABRP), but quicker, much easier to use, and has a far more attractive UI.
Useless. No equipment pics or actual speeds like plugshare, just stated output which we KNOW is a lie with BTCPOWER stations. EDIT AFTER DEV RESPONSE: timer feature doesn't factor SOC or it's impact on vehicle speed limits.
Doesn't let you get the charging station info without adding a vehicle which doesn't help my use case - since I want to get information that might help decide *which* EV to buy.
So far, this is not nearly as useful as greenlots. Not sure why my local charger changed. This one does not show a map of chargers. Kind of important.
I am unable to get this to work - adding a vehicle always says there is a poor internet connection, and then it hangs. If there is something useful on the map, I haven't seen it yet.
Lame. Cannot add comments or edit incorrect information on stations. Icon for vehicle takes up map space. Plugshare much better.

Very useful...perfect tool for finding charging for YOUR car. Nice trip planner. This is my go-to app for EVSE.
Discriminatory against 2 wheeled EVs... You cannot use this app with Energica, Zero, HD Livewire, Surron, Super-soco, Evoke, or any other Electric Motorcycle.
Needs to work with Android Auto, seems to be missing a lot of stations.

App couldn't find any charging stations, though I know there are some within 5 miles of my location.
Good app to tell you of charging stations in your area. But not has informative as other apps like PlugShare.
Well not work without giving up your phone number and allowing access to all of your contacts.
Have never been able to use it at all because it consistently crashes every single time
Not quite there yet, but a good start. I like the overall design. The range estimates by speed/temp were pretty accurate for my car (ID.4). Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work with Android Auto and navigation does not flow through to Google Maps, making it hard to use on an actual road trip. On a few test routes, the app also had me charging to 100% at a number of stations. On my car, fast charging speed drops significantly over 80%, and the manufacturer advises against 100% fast charges. It would be nice if these factors were considered by the app or perhaps the user could set their own charging limits.
