This app was useful until chartway decides to update the website, which made their app useless. POOR SUPPORT Not to mention that the whole reason for the update is for security but they don't add the feature to disable your credit cards and or debit cards via the app... 🤔
This app is how I can bank with Chartway since my local branch closed. The new upgrade isn't working, phones are not working. Cannot check my balance or get in touch with anybody. You could at least send out an email or message on social media recognizing the problem. I've been a member since 1994 but your handling of this is unacceptable. Will be closing my account as soon as I can.
The app is not working. I have not been able to log in all day. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with no success. The error message states to update the app but there is no update available in the play store.
Chartway took app offline without a replacement. For months, they were telling users of great and glorious coming changes. The time is here and the only change is now they have nothing and don't even bother to explain what is happening. Anyone thinking of going to Chartway, don't bother. Try Bayport or any other bank or credit union that can't possibly be worse than Chartway.
The app worked up oi until the maintenance and now it stopped working. I am unable to log in due to error code 2000 and because of this i have been locked out of the website saying to many failed logins. I did not miss type my password so this has to be an error due to your failed up that never updated.
App has message to update in play store but no updates are available so it is basically useless at the moment. I used to love this app and used it all the time. But right now I cant even log in much less access my account, pay payments or get to mobile deposit.
I have deleted this app 3 times since upgrade, keep getting system error. Maintenance on this app should have been seamless. Able to log in with desktop but need mobile app as well.
App worked well until today. It's telling me to update it the app to be able to use it. Well, my app is up to date and I'm still unable to access my mobile banking. I hope this is fixed soon.
App update FAIL! No update as posted. App will not open. Tells us we are still under maintenance. Hopefully no one relies on the app. Sorry if they do. Chartway really dropped the ball on this. Get your PR department out of bed.
Been 24 hours saying app needs update, but update not available in store. Rebooted numerous times. It doesn't take that long to propagate throughout play store servers. Someone messed up
It was a 5 star until they updated the website, but haven't updated the app yet... it's very inconvenient to not have the app available.
Need to have a member to member transfer option in app. Maybe save who I send to. My wife and I always transfer money to each other and the app would make it earier
They updated the app as of today according to their log in screen. Tells user to download the new app in the Play Store. BUT THERE IS NO NEW APP IN THE PLAY STORE!!
You have to search for the new app which is called chartway online banking. Not sure why they made the switch so difficult.
loved this app, mainly used for mobile deposits and transfers. SUDDENLY i can use the mobile deposit feature and with no reason. needs fixing asap!
The app was updated yesterday and you still cannot use your app and its Oct 24th so I am confused as to why its not working.
I've not been able to use this app for a week and every time I call to get help they tell me give it an hour it's updating give it an hour it's updating same thing with online this is ridiculous
I like how simple it is. I just wish you could transfer money in it too instead of just check of finances
It was supposed to be a update a day ago & I still cant access my account & It stated that I didnt use the correct password & was locked out my account
Your app has to many problems. Trying updating the when it's not during the day.
Wish they could update it so that we could make a payment towards our credit card using this app.
I like it so far, quick and user friendly. I'm 57 yrs old so go figure.
App keeps saying there's an update in the Google Play Store -- yet I go there and no update? Fail Chartway...
Works pretty well, but I wish it had the ability to do Member-to-member transfers like the member service s section on the web site

Very easy to use, only wish I could pay my chartway credit card through it
Chartway supposedly updated their app effective yesterday which requires existing users to manually update or uninstall and then reinstall the new app. Well, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it's still not working - saying that the app is down for maintenance on 10/23... It'd be nice to be able to check my account balance. Just another reason why Chartway is the most disorganized financial institution ever. I don't know why I haven't closed my account with them yet.
