Before the update, the application was horrible, nowhere close to user-friendly. So why the 2 star 1 because they have an app 2 they tried. The update was better but still horrible. Some links still brings you to a browser, very outdated, Error whenever trying to pay my CC bill "You do not have the appropriate deposit rights to perform this funds transfer" what does that even mean?! It's my account... Anyone lol. This app needs some serious overhaul. I will just call to pay my bill.

I've been with chartway for over 30 years I have stayed with them to sit and thin they have been very very good to me an outstanding banking organization. Every time I've had a problem it has been resolved quickly and with a little or no problem always in a timely manner. Wouldn't think I'm going anywhere else unless they close their doors thank you for all the good service.

Out of all the bank name changes and updates this app has gone through, this one by far has been the best! I'm also happy the squashed logo has been fixed, I also like that there has been less maintenance downtime too.

Keyboard for entering data should be at least 40% larger. Tt is impossible to enter data accurately for a senior citizen.

Works great! I had small issues at first due to trying to work through the new features but that took almost no time to get acquainted with things. The new interface and features are fully welcomed and great. Linking non Chartwat accounts and access to chartway cc through one login is fantastic. I fully recommend! Update 2022: The app has improved over time and works good. Big update slated soon!

Terribly wrong for an app. Apps should be streamlined, intuitive, and easy to use. This is just a bloated version of the website. Spend too much time looking through menus trying to find what you want. Also, way too much time "Loading..." Probably more of that than anything else. App crashes repeatedly, specially when attempting to make a mobile deposit. Guess I'll have to visit a branch to make a deposit. Please give us back the old app. ******UPDATE******* App has been updated and is minimally better, albeit still terrible! Doesn't lock up quite as often, BUT still does, still bloated and cumbersome to navigate, and still way too much time "Loading..." Mobile deposit sort of works, but with too many errors, especially when making multiple deposits. Seems to work best if make one deposit at a time, then log off and back in for each subsequent deposit. Trying to make things better is good, but this app is a failure. The old app worked fine without all the problems of this new app. Please bring back the old app.

This new app lags and doesn't open properly. It's very disappointing not knowing what's going on especially when your money is involved. Once inside and trying to transfer or verify adding an external account it gets stuck. I'm not sure if it's complete or I have to do it again. it actually did transaction twice. Good thing I had the funds to cover the double payment it made. please fix this app.

I miss the old app. It was functional, fast, and loaded quickly. The new look is nice but the app sacrificed everything that was useful about it. Not sure what changed, but the app won't even log me in anymore. It just loads forever-- both on wifi and LTE. If I go to the website on the same wifi or LTE though, the website works fine. Go figure. Disappointed. Needs some major fixes.

Works great - once I found it! I found it hard to believe that CW said it was ready to go on the 23rd but it was nowhere to be found in the Play Store...Am guessing because it was not named exactly as the old one, that it did not show up as an available update. I have emailed the developer email address in hopes that they will put how to discover the new app on the CW homepage.

This is the worst app ever. It is January 20th 2019, I've been using this app since it came out. Personally I have not been able to get it to load and open into my banking information for the last 4 months. I have tried several things to get it to work such as; deleting and reinstalling the app, installing it on several different devices, making sure the app is completely logged out of, and turning off the device fully to make sure it would work properly. However, nothing done makes the app work

The app hardly loads, and now, in order to access my account, i must constantly uninstall then reinstall the app about every 2-3 logins (3 is being generous). I love the new features, but it does me no good if I'm unable to access the application. I truly hope they fix this quick, as online banking is a pretty important perk in my book, and you would think chartway would go back to the old version if this application wasn't ready to be rolled out.

Never had any problems with the previous app. This app is slower, less convenient and more prone to crashing than its predecessor. In addition to this, I have received a 'funds tranfer error' every time I have tried to transfer money between my checking and savings account through the app; I never received this error in the previous Chartway app. I only see two purposes in a mobile banking app, checking one's balance and transferring funds between accounts, this app has failed to deliver on the latter of these for me and is therefore rendered half useless. I called the helpline for assistance with this error and waited through a 20 minute hold to be told that a specialist would call me back within 48 hours. At this point I'm considering switching banks.

I really like some of the functionalities of ths new app but it is not working correctly and I can see other Chartway Members are having the same issue. i have had issues doing transfers and money was in limbo for a week as I had to call customer service and they had to investigate the issue and release my money. I also can only look at my account for LESS THAN 2 minutes before the app automatically logs me out which is extremely frustrating. I miss the old app.

app refuses to open my account after I put in my password. I waited 20 minutes with the white bar that says loading with a green moving circle just to see if it would load. I have restarted my phone, and uninstalled/reinstalled the app with no fix. Please fix this issue since it seems to be a major issue for every person trying to use this app! I miss the old app because it worked! I have only been logged in on the app twice in the past 6 weeks!

Not impressed with this new app at all. 80 percent of the time it will not load once I've logged in. While the new look is great and it does have some better features, none of it is useful when you cant use it. I never had a problem accessing my accounts with the old app and miss the dependability with the older version

Horrible app. Changed phones and can't do anything without the app freezing. Have up uninstall and reinstall to get it to work once then it's back to freezing again. What's mystifying is that there are plenty of other complaints on Play and Chartway has done nothing to fix it. It's one thing to simply not offer an app but to offer an app that doesn't work is much worse. Please fix this.

I have had nothing but problems with this app every since Chartway upgraded. I have a brand new galaxy note 9, so it's not my phone. All this app does is allow you to log in then just runs and run but wont allow the app to open. I have force stopped it, uninstalled and reinstalled it, but still not working. And when I finally get it to work it doesn't work the next day. Horrible and inconvenient for online banking access.

This is the worst app to use to stay on top of your finances. Since the recent switch from the previous service. No longer can you be confident you are getting real time updates. No longer can you rely on this app for any bqnking needs. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, updated as needed to only get the same or worse service. I have called Customer Service to have these issues looked into. Only to receive no replies or bare with us we are working on it messages.

Update: Latest update fixed the debilitating bugs. Seems to at least match the functionality of the previous app now. Interface still doesn't feel suited to mobile with the many nested menus. The quick developer responses are appreciated and hopefully will continue to take feedback and improve the app. Buggy, seemingly untested. App itself is cluttered. Feels more like a small version of a desktop website. Not well designed. Previous app was much better suited. I will say I am pleased with the improved password and security practices, but that doesn't correct bad functionality.

Needs to be simplified. Needs payment tab with options under that tab to view scheduled payments: view history of all payments, past and future, external transfers, either via phone or scheduled external transfers. It should also be able to simply tell you scheduled for recurring payments. I had a payment that did not process in November due to a fault of chartway, therefore my account became delinquent as it looked as if I didn't make my payment when in fact I did have scheduled payments.

Alright, did y'all just trash everything that made the UI good on the old app? It looks like we've gone back in time with the way the app functions and ease of use compared to the old one. The deposit check function is so much worse than before. The camera is at a weird, not check shaped like frame (it's even worse after the most recent update) and is low quality so checks no longer submit right away. Did you fire your old developers or something? accounts not showing up after 1/28 update!!

This is my first time using mobile deposit with the app and love it sometimes have to retake the Pic of check and when I do the deposit goes through love the app
