Check Off - Reusable checklists made easy
Building a grocery list during the week? Find items quickly (you can sort 4 different ways) and tap to mark them as needed. Change quantities using a quick pop-up. Add notes for more detail. Assign apples and bananas to the Fruit & Veggies aisle, and milk and cheese to the Dairy aisle. Browse the full list to remind yourself of other things you need.
At the supermarket, tap "Use" to show only the items you marked, grouped by the aisles you've set up. No more scrolling up and down a long list - it's sorted to match the order of the aisles in your store.
Have a step-by-step procedure that you sometimes forget? Add the steps and order them by dragging and dropping. Organize long lists into separate groups, each with their own color coding.
Need to share a list with your partner? Send a text version by email, instant messaging, SMS, etc. Import or export a list using a CSV file.
Tailor the UI to your needs - light/dark mode, show/hide quantity, show/hide notes.
Future features being considered (but not yet available):
- Syncing lists between people and between several devices
- Handling multiple sets of groups per list (e.g. different order of aisles in different supermarkets)
WHAT THIS APP IS NOT INTENDED FOR:
- No tracking of prices, coupons, etc.
- Not designed to be a to-do list for one-off tasks, so does not have features like Priority or Due Date.
This app is FREE with NO ADS. I designed it for myself; if you also find it useful, that's a bonus. :)

most excellent app and most excellent developer support... thanks for your great work ……… it would be nice to have a fixed width/mono, spaced and slash zero font ………… formatting of documents works much better with a fixed width, aka. mono-spaced font, everything lines up better and has a much better appearance than this for the eacn letters a different size...
Absolutely love this app. I like having a master list from which I can quickly select items I need rather than typing out a new list every time. The UI is intuitive, quick to learn, and easy to use. It's exactly what I needed.
Seems nice but missing a few features. I would like a feature so that my list resets everyday. And a counter to shoe how many times I've completed my list and completed the items in list. Please add this!
Almost perfect, I really love the app. Might I suggest 1 or 2 additions? 1. Common items list for building a list. 2. Quick add option when adding items. Instead of + > add new item > label > categorize > save >*** repeat a lot** How about + > Add multiple items > select category (veggies) > type (kale) > add+ > type (carrots) > add+ > type (spinach) > save. You've added 3 items. It's basically 4.8 stars to me right now. thanks for making this app!
This is so well-thought out and designed. I tried a lot of apps and this one is perfect. If I could add anything, it would be time&date stamp on each item when completed.
6 stars. Tried many but love this app. You can choose to strike though or make items temp disappear (my favourite) when done. Just create a group for every item list.
Great reusable list for groceries, errands etc. I also use it for one-time tasks within lists (today). Ad free, easy and works.
Very nifty! Plus the sample grocery list was pretty much all stuff I buy, so you get extra points for doing part of my grocery list for me ;)

The best, by far, app for recurring checklists. Put your honey do list on it, follow it, and live in marital bliss.
Perfect until now. I've been using this app for close to a year for all kinds of lists. Keeping up with series of books or movies, my EDC, and other stuff. I've never had a problem and all the features are fantastic. But just now I edited the name of a list and now it's hiding competed items in the Use list instead of crossing them out. Like the groups aren't even there. I've triple checked and "Cross off completed items" is 100% checked. What can I do?
I have been using this list for various purposes for a few weeks now and it by far is working better for me than any other I have tried. That being said, an addition that would make this even more useful for me is if in settings I was able to add a pice (currently you can add quantities and comments) if I could add prices and have them total at the bottom of the list.. in particular for the common use (shopping lists) but even for any kind of lists you need to budget for it would be awesome!

This app is just what I've been looking for! I've downloaded and tried so many list apps in the past few months, but all of them fell short of what I needed in one way or another. This one, however, is perfect!! It's so well thought-out. My favorite aspect is the "edit"/ "use" function of each list. I keep my master grocery list in the "edit" section and populate the "use" section with my grocery list for the current week. Perfect for all of the recurring tasks on my household master lists!
I've played with this awhile, and it has to be the best program of this type and a great example of how to make an app friendly and powerful. As it says, it is for reusable checklists, not general notes. It can be used for one-off checklists just fine, but for checklists you might reuse, it is brilliant.
The most cumbersome app I've ever used. Groups & lists are both called lists so creating new lists into new groups is so frustrating. Tips say it can be done but doesn't say how. By the time I got my new group with lists made I could have accomplished all the items. It's a good idea for an app but has too many problems to have a live version released for public use.
It just needs an interval setting so I can make my lists reset automatically.

Once you get a hang of the functions this app has 10/10 solved all my checklist problems! Love how it is completely customizable from colors coding lists, re-arranging items in list (drag feature) and the ability to go between edit mode and use mode so you don't accidentally delete something while using the list is perfect!
Occasionally you find an exceptional app in Google Play that you have been looking for, for a long time, and CHECK OFF is one of those, clearly a lot of thought has gone into the design and implementation. Many apps of this type are over complicated, but CHECK OFF is exactly what it says, a simple, but very effective checklist, full of customization, that is easy to use. Previously I used two apps, one for packing and another for shopping lists, but now CHECK OFF has replaced both of these, very effectively, it was relatively easy to import the data into the app, but read the help that the developer has added, my main problem was getting the correct CSV format, but that had NOTING to do with the app, once the format was correct it was simple. I would certainly recommend this app to anyone looking for an effective checklist.
Fantastic! When I shop, my mind works in categories and or aisles and this app works for me. It's simple to use, nice design, a note section & no ads. Can use voice input if I choose. What more could one ask for? Well maybe duplicate recognition. I've always been a paper and pen person and sometimes would forget my list. Not anymore with this little gem. I can make up a list anytime, anywhere with my phone. This is my new go to shopping app. I'm moving up to the 21st digital Century.
Awesome app. Yes, it takes a little bit of time to plug in everything you want, but once you are done, it's awesome. Not really difficult to set up either. My primary use is for camping and travel, and it's perfect. I can also see how it would be useful for many other task requiring a checklist. Groceries, chores, etc. And it's free! I'd be willing to pay the dev a few bucks just because of how handy the app is.
This is the best shopping list app around and it's free!!!!! Finally I've found an app that is obviously used by the developer. So many apps require you to enter the item and delete it when you've done your shopping and then go through the whole process again next time you want to go shopping - ridiculous. This app is simple to use and works like a charm. I didn't even have to enter all of my 120+ items in one by one - I just downloaded a CSV file and there they were - all done. Everything is in supermarket aisle order and it's easy to make changes if necessary. Absolutely amazing! I'm looking forward to the future upgrades of syncing between devices and the ability to handle multiple stores.
Love this app a lot. Simple to use and no frills. I wish I could export the "use list" as a jpg so that I can duplicate my lists that I have in a digital frame for a constant reminder/dry erase friendly surface and print out with a nice format. It's easy to get distracted on a phone and forget a checklist even exists unless it is in front of my face all day so I need to have my lists on multiple mediums. Thank you for making such a simple and useable app.
I have tried a number of checklist apps for repeat applications; this really seems to be the best thought-out. Very simple to use, with a clean interface and easy to read. Initially installed for shopping lists, it is also proving ideal for checking off the long list of procedures which must be performed every day at the start and end of work. Drag and drop is invaluable for occasional additions. Thank you for this app.
