Recently it pops app (notification) very often occasionally for no apparent reason and it consumes a lot of battery. It's annoying. I've Nexus 5X, not rooted, everything is formal and the recet apps' version. I've tried rebooting. It takes up more than %50 of battery. It also shows messages the system is waiting to much for the app to respond and I can choose to kill or wait.
This app does nothing but emptying the battery with mind blowing speed! I had it only because my work forced me to install it for syncing email and the calendar. An amazing user experience came as soon as I have uninstalled this app! My phone's battery and I are so glad to have it finally uninstalled!
This app generates long stings of Application Not Responding messages - sometimes so frequently that one message will interrupt the previous message. The frequent interruptions make the phone difficult to use. All this activity is draining my battery. This app took 24% of the run time since last charge, while apparently doing nothing (except preventing me using the phone).
I was instructed to install it on my phone prior to installing work mobile apps. When I later removed the work app bundle from my phone I forgot to uninstall sandblast . It did such a great job of protection , however it locked my phone and asked me for my pin and password, which was my finger print. I would not accept it and now I am locked out of my phone. I did a factory reset but I am still locked out. It would be a great feature to give an option of uninstall remotely or a contact link to submit a remove from phone resource.
If anything this protects your device too much, but I guess that's a good thing. I've had issues with this blocking legitimate software, but the company is very responsive to email and provides quick fixes.
Instance in work profile (Knox) does not detect execution of instance in Personal profile, and thus reports a threat that is impossible to resolve, which is blocking execution of work applications.
Runs in the background without eating up my battery or processor. When I do click on it, a wealth of information is available to show that I am protected. Hassle-free security!
This app is reporting that my device is rooted immediately after upgrade to android pie. The side effect is that I m disconnected from work network as my device is deemed non compliant. What an inconvenience....
With ONP on and HTTPS inspection off, iOS Mail app works. With same settings on Android, Gmail not working, Boxer One not working, only Outlook works.... what's the point of having HTTPS inspection option there? Frustrating
The latest update forces a sticky notification which is quite annoying. I can disable the notification but now A ndroid system complaints this app consumes battery and this system notification also sticky. Both are quite annoying...
It's perfect. It has picked apk files that I didn't try to download and some other events. It shows straight away and gives you warnings on anything suspicious.
Title: Senior IT Admin, focus on security. Mobile Threat Defense should be high on the security model for all, not just companies, and this app works exactly as I expected. If you are a private individual, Check Point's Zone Alarm Mobile operates exactly like this app, just no central management or central reporting.
I'm being very generous to give at least one star for this app. Right now, major issues with Sandblast Protect as registration with their servers doesn't work. It is reported that the registration servers are down. Please improve your infrastructure and stop convincing external companies to use your app. Basically, I'm kindly asking that you close shop and do something else because your organisation cannot create good software. Much appreciated. Thanks.
Simply the best protection for your Android-based device! True Zero-Day threat prevention, phishing protection, network protection, and Bluetooth protection. You have protection on your PC/laptop, why would you not have anything on your mobile device???
Practically invisible, and when it says something, it feels concise, relevant and useful.
No star at all, this app is a waste of time and resources. Who ever developed this app should look into it critically as it does not update crendentials and keeps giving error code. I cant login to my companys apps because of this challenge
I have tried to install the Sandblast app on my Tecno Spark 3 being a requirement feom my office IT before we can install intune company portal which is also a requirement to set up microsoft teams for our online meeting in view of social distancing. But this has not been successful as the app keeps rejecting 5he company login details. Very very frustrating.

This is the best app to remove from your phone if you want your phone's performance to skyrocket. I was very close to upgrade my phone (Samsung Note 9), but instead I uninstalled this app among others like Intune and work profile, and now my phone is performing amazingly, just like new. Thanks Harmony Mobile. Often in the past, even opening google map and keyboard at the same time was a challenge.
