American Checkers/English Draughts
Mandatory capturing, no capturing backwards, and only one move for the King, the only Checker that can move backwards.
International Checkers
Mandatory capturing, and the pieces can capture backwards. The King can move any amount of squares in a diagonal line, as long as the end square isn’t blocked.
Spanish Checkers
Just like international checkers, but without normal pieces being able to capture backwards.
Turkish Checkers
Both light and dark squares are used, the pieces move vertically and horizontally on the board. The King has a free range of movement over the board.

Uninstalled it almost immediately. The game does not allow for normal checkers rules where you can move pieces so long as they're forwards. It doesn't allow for any strategy in avoiding being captured which can lead you to lose the game as it doesn't give you a choice for not capturing other than changing the rules... But none of the rules don't insist upon capturing immediately. Would definitely not recommend..
Worst app of the year. I thought I would have fun and have nice challenges, this was just a major waste of time. My sister is playing Resident Evil next to me. I hate Resident Evil but I would rather play that. All the AI does is try and get a draw, so I try to have a challenge but the AI moves the same piece over and over till I'm to accept a draw. How is that supposed to be fun?
the gameplay is great but theres some things that ruin it....when you dont want to sacrifice a checker to get a kill because it will leave you open for a double or even triple kill it FORCES you to...also when the "draw?" thing pops up i have accidently pressed it about 10 times now when i was obviously about to win. thats about all. would i reccomend? honestly...no.
don't like how it stops you from being able to move pieces freely if there is a "no brainer" move. For example, Ihad a king and could have taken a piece out but the next turn I would have been taken out. So i wanted to move the king backward to take myself out of that play, but the game said that that was my only move... with four other of my pieces still left on the board. Good game, but not great. will be seeking another out
Entirely too many ads. Makes it unplayable. They force you to watch 30 second ads over and over. Clearing out of the ap just makes another ad popup. I never made it into a game. After two 1 min ads it played another ad. I tried to close the app to restart and that prompted two more 1 min ads.
Really was enjoying at first and have reached higher levels but now the computer takes forever to decide what next move to take, and is now lagging to the point that it has even got stuck and nothing happened so l had to abandon the game so lost. Also the ads are annoying and repetitive, I'm now starting to loose interest so will probably uninstall.
It has become a total rubbish since this latest upgrade, the former one was very good, and very smart, that grand master was tough and great. This new version, all the levels are just for an amateur, you should have not upgraded it, total rubbish.
It's good. It has a few too many ads in my opinion but it doesn't have any scummy microtransactions for redoing mistakes. just watch a 30 sec add to get more. This is how phone games should work! If you like a challenging game of checkers and dislike microtransactions than I'd highly recommend it
I like the game, I really do. But, there are so many ads it is unbelievable. After every round and when the app is opening it prompts to an ad. I understand that the ads bring in an income but, come on.
They will delete your progress. They game is good and it helps you learn how to play or to play better. The only thing is that all my progress was deleted. I was a candidate (Almost a master). I get in after updating the game and all my progress went away. I did not delete the data nor ran out of space. Everything in my tablet is the same. Therefore, the app deleted my progress. So, if you don't care about your progress, I totally recommend it. The higher your progress is, the better the npc is.
I loved it up until now because it is glitching so that on the left side of the board, the pieces can go through. as if there were another row. If a piece gets taken from there, it still shows on there, but doesn't move, and the other pieces can just go on top of it. Fix this bug?
It literally made me SO mad how it forced me to make moves in places I didn't want to. I tried to play around in the settings to fix it, but nothing worked and I lost when it wasn't even a fair game. I was FORCED to jump the opponent which made me lose because they were able to jump back.
WAY. TOO. MANY. ADS. Every time you start a game, restart a game, open the app, pause a game, unpause a game, change the settings, or are inactive for a small amount of time, it plays a freaking ad that you can't skip for at least 10 to 12 seconds.
One of the rules is Mandatory jumping but you get to choose. If you have 2 different jumps comp won't let u choose, rather it forces you to jump a piece that has a reciprocal jump so it has a better chance of winning. There is no choice, it cheats.......Do no install!
I used to play this every day, then ads happened and I was like ok I get it, its free and you gotta make some money, fine. But then ads HAPPENED now you can't even skip after a timer. You have to watch ALL. OF. IT. Now I'm out, I cant stand when simple games like this one gets that greedy. There are numerous checkers games out there, ill just go download another one 🤷♀️
Smooth and flawless appearance make this game incomparable to any other. The sliding movement style of the pieces even add up to the fluency experience of the game. To be honest, it's a force to reckon with so far.
The game play itself is very well, and it's very easy to understand and intuitive.... the only major problem that I encountered is the fact that you are not able to start a brand new game until the current game is finished... This is primarily the reason why I gave it a 3 rating.
good app, i guess. But it will be great to add an option to turn off all the sounds. May be there is such an opportunity, but in that case it's difficult to find. please, add an opportunity to turn off the sound in "settings"
The game is fantastic. I actually really wanted to learn how to play checkers but I can't but through this awesome game now I can play checkers with my friends and relatives. Only one thing I do not like about the game is when I have a chance to out the computer so it forces me to move that circle so I can win but the computer strikes me back just and it is all bcz of of the game.So plz fix it. Hope you got my point. Otherwise the game rocks DO DOWNLOAD IT
So far no annoying adds. Will update later if problems arise. Update: lots of annoying adds. I get it, they have to make money somehow, but it would be nice if we could skip them quicker.
the game is good but it sometimes decides which positio to go when you have a lot of options. you set a trap then the computer decides you play something different affecting youe strategy and making the computer win.
An awesome checkers experience! Play against a computer matched with your level or with a friend. I really like how you can set the rules to how you like them. Just a really great game for when you're bored.
It was good! The bot's were smart the graphics were good and much, much more, but sometimes it wouldn't let me move my piece and It would only let me move one which would get me a kill and also give the bot an advantage.
this game is horrible the ai makes absolutly no mistake you always lose and there is nothing tonget better at with this game because as i said the ai is completely perfect. i am not one to play games on the easiest setting but even as the easiest setting you cant win. if i coukd give 0 stars i would

This game is good. But at a lot of points there are ads. Ads make the game less fun to play. I love to play checkers and know that it is on my phone I can play whenever. It is super calming and relaxing I hope you try this game....
There's too many ads everywhere. you tab out of the game, ad. you win/loose a game, ad. you want to undo a move, ad. You accidentally exit the app during a game. ad. There's ads on the game board, too. The A.I seems to always be very difficult mode despite being on the lowest setting. it's extremely tedious to go through several un-skippable ads just to get another and not enjoy the game.
