Nice game, but they do everything they can to redirect users to Google Play so get more games, which is incredibly annoying. Sometimes, I have stopped playing because of the constant interrupting ads.

CPU keeps on loading for 1-2 mins..!!! I think the game is written using if else statements. Very slow

Every game played costs about 20mb of data. It has taken roughly 700mb already. Oh and I have tried blocking it from earing data but somehow nothing stops it. Tks but no tks.

Used to be great. Ads make it virtually impossible to play, particularly the one that first comes up keeping you from getting into the game board. Finally had to uninstall. A shame.

Overall enjoyable, and a real challenge on the higher levels. On the downside, I think there needs to be a "lack of progress draw after x number of moves" built in. At present, in certain drawish situations, it dances about avoiding the repetition draw until you get tired of it and resign. Also, I didn't see anything about draw conditions in the rules documentation.

The draw by threefold repetition mechanic is glitchy. It sometimes ends the game in a draw even when you perform actions for the first time, and switching it off just makes games drag out. That one bug can easily butcher your playing experience, and it happens often. If it weren't for that, I would give this game a 5 star rating, especially since it's a rare case where the ads don't mess up the game. Sadly, this was not to be. Try another checkers app.

Checkers is fun again! I had problems though with 2 player mode. My opponent was sitting right next to me but my moves wouldn't show up on his phone. (Update) Thanks to the fast reply from the developer, we fixed the problem. I still really like the game, but after playing many rounds, I think the developer could refine the difficulty levels a bit. There seems to be a huge jump in difficulty from level 2 to level 3. I've won 72% of games in level 2, but only 24% in level 3.

I understand that ads pay for letting me use an app or game without having to buy it, but when the ads start to come one after another, then refuse to close when I tap the "x", any enjoyment quickly isn't worth it. Instead of closing the ads, it opened a page to install the stuff from the ads. I uninstalled the checkers app *Edit: The developer's response was that they can't control what the advertisers do. Well, you let them drag your name thru the mud and it's cost you at least one user

Well I enjoy the game. Hopefully they won't change bots, or whatever they do to update.

New update makes this worthless, not able to play, it just sends to purchase other games over and over again. Don't install

Used to be a great game until they started with LONG ads that you can't cancel and who blast extremely loud sounds by default (even if you have the sound on the game turned off). After many years of, I'm finally uninstalling & downloading a different checkers game from my Play Pass so I can play ad free.

12/25/19 Forced ads 30 seconds long between games. I used to play this game daily, but now it forces people to watch 30 second videos. While AUDIO CAN NOW BE TURNED OFF, and they have re-enabled the close button after several seconds, THIS GAME IS DEFINITELY NSFW. What there is NOW is extremely obnoxious, LOUD music along with a 30 second ad for a game that I'll never download or play. No way to set it for silent. Product ads, ok, blaring music, no. Too bad

Far too great opponent skill-level variance. Claiming "draws occur when all pieces repeat the same moves three times over the course of the game," is inaccurate, faulty logic.

Easy to play, nothing complex to figure out. It would be even more awesome if it would allow a game against the CPU could be restarted from a selected step in the review, instead of hitting UNDO all the way back to that step then playing forward from there.

Hi, can you help make 10x10 boards? I've always play 10x10. And can you add option for non-mandatory capture but can capture as many as you like, as in we are not mandatory to capture and the number is not necessarily max. And can you also add, flying kings to stop right after capture before continuing to other capture, as in right after the men. Thank you!!

Ads after EVERY game is too much. Ads disrupt bluetooth music streaming as it takes focus of sound. Will uninstall if not fixed within 2 days. There are other games out there. Update to previous response..ads after EVERY game is too much. Every 3, or 5, maybe. Until you change the frequency of ads so that it is not after every game I will simply play in airplane mode.

Update: Due to the long LOUD ads, I've uninstalled & installed instead a checkers game that participates in Play Pass. Old review: Won't allow me to turn off the forced move option - it forces me to make moves I don't want.

Sneaky. It seemed fine at first. No unnecessary permissions. After I installed it however, it kept asking for permissions to media files and storage, but most worryingly it stated that advertising would be stored outside of the app. This is disgusting. I'm surprised Google allowed this. Uninstalling ASAP!

A pretty good game. Rather enjoyable, and a decent way to spend some free time. But, (And this might just be me.) I find that towards the end of a round, (Against the CPU.) If it 2+ pieces it will pull an EXTREMELY drawn out game of cat and mouse. Good game, but hot damn! It is tedious sometimes.⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just uninstalled app. 9 Mar 20 @1536 hours It asked me if I wanted to allow the app access to my media and photos; I said 'no'. So I go to play and all of a sudden I have glitching in the game. It happened 5x. I assumed it was still trying to gain access after I had said 'no'. So to eliminate irritation and frustration with an app. I uninstalled and downloaded another checkers app.

Level 12 is rigged.been playing for 2hours now.takes me a min to move.takes al 10 to 15 mins to move.because it copies y'all's game and plays it in back ground to insure that it wins and u lose no matter what. Forced jumps or not,u still lose cause it plays every scenario in background .how about speeding al turn to a min instead of 10 to 15 mins.

This program plays a reasonably strong game around 2100+. I enjoy the opening captures which were more common in the 1850s-1920s. Anyone can feel proud if they score a win 5th level or higher. I also love the fact the squares are regulation green. All around this is a good package.

Online game not working without turning on auto sync. An option to play the game online without turning on sync. The graphics is awesome. In settings the app should prompt the user to switch on auto sync in order to play the game online so the users don't face issues while playing online.

The game is hard to beat on the higher levels. Nice game though. Never had any issues. Note to others: If you update this game, you may lose your progress. Make sure your app cleaners hasn't removed the stats in file manager. If it's there, the stats will be there when you open it. Otherwise, you have to start over.

An excellent rendition of the game with various levels of difficulty for computer opponents. I would give it 5 stars until the update wildly increased the number of ads.

A1 Factory do a great suite of games with straightforward, attractive graphics, good gameplay with range of difficulties for all standards. Uses very little battery and, thank goodness, ads aren't that intrusive ...... plus you can play offline. A+++

Thanks for this game. For those who keep complaining about ads, read on: Ads are keeping this free version alive. Unless we buy the paid version, we must sacrifice 5 seconds of our time (press x that appears in the upper corner after 5 seconds or watch the whole thing for 30 seconds). Everyone MUST understand and appreciate the efforts of the game's developers. This is what they do for a living. It is either we pay them, or the advertisers pay them. I am a cheap person, so I allow the latter.
