Great experience but needs little tweak. My recommendation would be if players are left with 2 pieces each then automatically are given 24 moves countdown before the game is concludes with a draw. Likewise, if players are left with 1 piece each then they are given 12 moves countdown before a draw. The 12 moves countdown happens anyway but I thought I mention so is left as it is. I'm 42 now and I've been playing checkers since I was about 7. If you do the above this app will be perfect.
I hope that this game would get updated more often. - the computer can play at level 6 or 7(higher level) - so often a competition to keep it exiting. - we could also know or see which players are online. - when an opponent is challenged and the app not open. The person can get a message on his/her screen regarding the challenge... - able to check stats of other players Thank you
If you accidental touch the Ads at the bottom of your screen 'the players view' you automatically lose. I play to win. This is poorly designed. Sad. I have lost many games for this, also if I mimize the screen for a incoming call or text it makes me a loser. there are several problems, sometimes there are unintentional moves which always seem too come at a time which causes a loss. Well ITS 9/23/19 still no change this problem should be fixed as its caused many lost games a slight brush you lose
Please make the game finish with standoff automatically when 2-2 or 1-1 pieces left, no matter after how many moves, but let it finish eventually. It is extremely frustrating, I experience lot of players, usually ones with higher success rate probably being so upset not winning over me, who are not willing to accept standoff, moving figure back and forth forever, waiting for me to lose patience and surrender. And Galaxy Note10.1 keeps rotating screen after play pressed, impossible to use now.
This is favorite checkers app so far. It is lightweight, has simple and nice interface, no intrusive ads, and there are various themes and levels to choose from. Great app!
If you're going to play Bali Checkers then play Russian rules. I hated this game because of all the cheaters but cheaters are lazy and it is rare to find one in the Russian rules. There is also a count down so no time wasters in game 😉 Russian rules is hard and requires an extra amount of thinking but it is worth the effort. The games are more fun and players stick around for several games in a row cutting down on advertising time between games. A BLOCK player is needed for those cheaters
Great simple app.. The best out of the few that I tried.. Private rooms is good to play with friends.. If I had to give feedback on improvement.. Currently players can quit on you for a stand off if they are down to their last piece but you still have a few left.. Quits should be automatic losses..
Incredibly obnoxious. The wording is very unclear, making it extremely hard to set up. I really don't like forced jumps, so I tried to fix it to make it not required, but since I don't know the differences between "Russian" or "International", I just had to test all of them out, hoping the set of rules was right. (It didn't work T^T)
What kind of rubbish is this?. When playing, I just get texted by the game saying" YOU LOSE (Disconnected from a network)", eventually loosing that game and this always happens no matter how strong my network coverage is. This game wasn't like this last year, I wonder what's going on. I really loved this game but I hate to lose to opponents I know I can win but fails due to a fragile network that has now become a thing in the game. Please do fix this problem.
This application needs to update the data of both players. It means that if there is an Internet cut, the application tells you "You won" and the other opponent also says the same thing "You won" ... I did the test with my tablet and my mobile and when the network got freezes nobody can move then the App gave as the winner to my mobile on the screen reads. And then a few seconds later he gave my tablet as winner leÃdo on the screen. It's crazy
Your app is getting boring that is why I have given you only one star because I have lose more than 30 games l could have easily won all because your app keeps telling me l have lose a game because I got disconnected from my network, meanwhile my network is actively connected to the internet. The earlier you guys fix this anomaly the better because it is painful and unfair to go through such an experience.
Been looking for checkers where we can use our own rules. This is just great. It would be perfect if there's an option, when a king can do a long jump, wether it can eat right after it became a king or not. I'm bad at english so i hope you get what I mean. Thanks!
This game was brilliant until yesterday evening when it failed to find anyone online to play. Today I updated the app and now you can't even attempt to play online as the start playing is grayed out. UPDATE: I set up a new Google account and the game works perfectly. The issue appears to be only with my old Google account but I have no idea why.
Excellent but spoiled by bad sports and app not addressing issues. Previously people often disconnected from network and won game leaving them with fantastic statistics- cheaters. This has been resolved recently. There are still those who write nasty comments and also there are those who just waste time or dont accept draw even when it is and then you just have to surrender or waste your day. I wish these issues would be addressed
The AI here is so smart. Level 5 not once I was able to beat him and I can play with my friends too. Only problem is that I've to send the code to my friend from notifications because if I exit the app, it destroys the room.. Also Please give an option to disable forced moves in our own rules game.
DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!!!!!!!!This app does not work properly. Oftentimes when you get a king it doesn't give you a king. It just leaves that piece of Pawn and you can't use it anymore. Also, even after the game is over the clock continues to run. So even though you may have won the game you still lose because of the clock keeps running as though you haven't moved. This app used to work fine, but they've recently done something to it and now it doesn't work very well at all.
The 2 on 1 have to be updated. The player with the last 2 pieces have 21 moves in which to capture their opponent. The app currently doesn't set that limit. Good app overall.
I really like this game. But the developers should make the 'Checkers'gameplay similar to the "Russian" mode gameplay. With that mode, if you switch off your data to win technically, you lose. People need this
Terrible. I play the game right, and for some reason it thinks I lost. Not only that but it has too much adds, scams, and it always manages to freeze at unpredicted times. 👎
According to the American Checker Federation (see rule 12), a tie game is called a draw. The conditions for a draw are similar to the 50-move rule in chess. Basically, one player asks the other to prove he can win (or get closer to winning) in the next 40 moves or the game ends in a draw.
Before few months ago I could see who is going to play against me and if I don't wonna play with that particular player I can leave the game before it's get started. Now you don't see who is your opponent before the game start. And if you don't wanna play against some players and you leave the game the opponent won. Please return to previous. Then we be able to choose the opponents. Thanks
Arbitrary move count ends games even when you are winning. Tons of ads. Switching windows is a loss. Could go on and on. Terrible overall.
The game is not bad. But there is flaw in scoring. I have defeated one plarticular payer several times but his no of game loses is always 1. This is stupid system. Further only 30 moves for an forced standoff is not enough.
Trying to take my turn, the app stopped working at I couldn't move the pieces.... I received a 'rapido' message from my apponenet. I uninstalled this app because I'm not going to play an online game if it causes problems between apponents.
Worked pretty fine till yesterday. As of today unable to play a single game. It just gets disconnected everytime in the middle of a game. Fix it ASAP...
Played against an opponent the other day who did something to the game clock. It kept speeding up and didn't allow me the play. Great game but it's being infiltrated by cheat bots
It's a great game, the only issue I'm having now is it constantly stops the game, saying I've lost it because I've been disconnected, but this is not true. I agree that one should not be switching apps while playing the game, but having it disconnected due to some sort of brief data interruption from the ISP is something to reconsider. Please fix this.
