American Checkers/English Draughts
Mandatory capturing, no capturing backwards, and only one move for the King, the only Checker that can move backwards.
International Checkers
Mandatory capturing, and the pieces can capture backwards. The King can move any amount of squares in a diagonal line, as long as the end square isn’t blocked.
Spanish Checkers
Just like international checkers, but without normal pieces being able to capture backwards.

Here in Africa we play the game with the diagonal at the right side. Higher level is needed
It has a pleasant enough interface but the gameplay from the start is distinctly average, even on Hard, then goes downhill towards the end as the AI makes stupid moves. Very hard to lose against it because of this.

Gives you the choice of 6 by 6 all the way up to 14 by 14 checkerboards. Then you choose your rules by toggling things like forced capture, flying kings etc. A different approach that is clever. This is the first time I have seen an app that goes up to 14 by 14. Supposedly that size is played in South Africa.
