Checklist

Not working properly. Abandoned in favor of "Checklist Pro"? When you download Checklist Pro --- from the link on their own website, which takes you to the Google Play Store --- the new app shows up on your device as "Checklist," so you have two apps from the same developer with the same name. If you uninstall the original Checklist app, which has been unable to sync recent data to the website, you lose access to all your recent data from the original app. 😕 Added a star for quick response...

The functionality is great, but I'm finding the layout a little frustrating. I prefer, when opening the app, to see a list of all my checklists, instead of the most recent one created. To see the full list of checklists, i have to pull up the Dashboard, which is treated like a pull-out menu instead of a key page. Also, as I am switching to this from a discontinued checklist app, I'd love to be able to import my current lists (plain text format) from that app into this app.

Only just downloaded the app. First impressions are good. A tutorial is there and the app is easy to use. Would be nice if you could edit the layout of buttons. More specifically, I would like for the + button (for confirming a to-do and adding it to the list) to be at the bottom right of my screen. This way I don't have to reach up after typing and can more quickly continue with creating the next task. The overview screen as widget would be nice too. Will probably edit later with more ideas :)

Edit**. The templates are working perfectly. It is really easy to set up different checklists now. Of course with any app like this you are gonna spend some time setting everything up efficiently and playing around with it but there are items I didn't even know I wanted to add to the checklists that the templates provide for you. All in all I'm really happy with this app.

This is a great checklist app! The app nails the layout, subtasks and easy of use right on the head! I really like how all of your subtasks are nested on separate screens rather than one long checklist like you would have in Keep. Not having to scroll up and down is awesome! I recently realized you can access, modify or make checklists and sync them to your device on a desktop. This made creating checklists much faster. It would be nice though if on the web version you could collapse your nested tasks, it would just save a lot of scrolling, but I can overlook this. My biggest issue is the syncing doesn't work well at all, at least not for me. When I view it on my phone items are jumbled, no longer nested or just gone. Incredibly frustrating when you've made a complex checklist and doesn't sync correctly to your phone. If it wasn't for this issue I'd definitely give it 5 stars. Any suggestions from the developer on how to fix this issue?

I'm looking for a super simple checklist app, that minimises cognitive load and distraction. Something suitable for ppl with ADHD. I'd love the options here like reminders & recurring tasks, as long as default entry and editing doesn't require navigating between screens. That probably that isn't easy to do well, but for now I'm going to sacrifice these features for a simpler app. Maybe a future version? Edit: Wow, unfriendly reply, makes me less inclined to revisit. I have installed it and thought it worked great at the start. However, I think they could learn a lot from competitors, especially when creating a task. If you create it from a widget and then want to go back (!) to set a reminder at the desired time (a key feature, I think), it's also got the wrong list. Just being honest here, it's no match for Wunderlist, my current. No reason for 1 star though. However, I just read some reviews and was astounded by the way these 'Checklisters' communicate.

Very useful; somewhat steep learning curve; Tremendously powerful and versatile--almost overwhelming ways to structure one's lists; still formulating the best structure of list hierarchy; nonetheless, of nearly a dozen similar apps this is the best. Once I stopped searching for To-Do Lists (that have far too many unnecessary other features) and focused on "Check Lists", this was found. Regardless of my relatively minor struggles SUPPORT IS TERRIFIC!!

A bit limited, but maybe good for chores? I wanted to make some checklists for long lists of tasks(which I already have in text format), but I cannot copy-paste the data. It only pastes the entire list of tasks as a single task, which is useless to me. It also asks to register every time I open it(still works, just kind of annoying). Perhaps the devs could add a more intuitive paste option?

The updated desktop app I have now started to use and I will have to give it time. It seems improved from the previous version. I cannot give you 5 stars though. The android app is clunky and there are too many steps to add a level or a task. The reminder feature is unpredictable. But I use the app to store lists and data that doesn't warrant a reminder and so for that it works great.

Very easy to use and make list BUT not simple at all to send or print your list to actually use it while packing or simply share with someone. Please don't answer to use the share or send options, it doesn't work easily, i tried to share and send to my address. I end up typing my list on excel... might be simpler. I'll uninstall the app if creators don't explain a simple way to print your list (not involving everybody else signing up for their app).

my attachments wont upload. it shows uploading bar, followed by error message check internet connection, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet speed. even if I switch to my 4g mobile data connection, same issue. I am devastated because I have searched the whole playstore and this is TheApp that can do all the three things i need. this app is perfect in everyway,with reminder and ability to add attachment, and export to email or whatsapp...perfect! eberything I been looking for, if it could just upload. there are not apps who can do all three(none that I can find anyway) the only next upgrade would be to 'send to' the task to a calendar entry, which also very few apps can do.

Functionally a 5 star app-lots of features, intuitive, fast, easy to learn, very flexible. Privacy -5 stars. Had to dig for privacy policy, your data isnt encrypted in transit to their servers, not encrypted on their servers: basically they know what you're doing, when you want to do it, and when you've completed it-even for the paid version. Unacceptable in 2019.(2019-07 Ph1 Nougat.)

It doesn't appear to be syncing in real-time with shared checklists. When my wife adds a new task to the same checklist (we share the same checklist) on her phone, I don't see it on my phone. She would have to click on the manual sync button. I would have to click on manual sync button to see the new task. I've waited at least 45 minutes and still don't see the new item. Why the manual sync button if you say the syncing is in real-time?

After the recent update, App is very slow to respond and sometimes crashes. All the other Apps in my phone work fine. All my checklists were in alphabetical order and now there is no way to organize or search for a checklist. Clicked on several links in help section - currently does nothing.

Was great for almost a year, then one day I picked it up and my list was gone & my only option was to sign up as a new user. On their website I could login, but only saw an old version of my list, plus the website is half-frozen, can hardly move the cursor down to see the lower part of the list. Support said they would contact me, but I haven't heard from them in the last 24 hours and I rely on To Do lists a lot so I'm going to look for a different app. When it worked it was very easy to use.

This app was fine on my old phone. Got a new phone today and, when I tried to open the app, it forced me to migrate to the new platform. Now, none of my existing lists are available & the app is saying accessing them is a premium feature and wants a subscription. The app was free before. It's nothing spectacular and definitely not something I would expect to pay for, based on its limited functionality. Not at all happy.

I was searching for an app to store numbers for my job cancellations, this app is perfect not only does it allow me to put phone numbers in all I need to do is click on the phone number and it goes straight to phone no messing about copy and pasting so I can call my clients quick and do easy to use, also enough space to put notes. Can't rate it enough. Thankyou

At first I really enjoyed the app, it's clean and easy to use. However, every single time that I open it, it asks me to link an account to sync my list to. I normally skip this step ever since Facebook has been discontinued for it. Today I decided to finally link my account to something so I won't lose my lists. Apparently no matter what account or service you use, it will not work. "Credentials are invalid" even though I just created them. I will be deleting and fining a new app to use.

After carefully looking for the best checklist app supporting account sync, sharing and unlimited nested lists, I finally found Checklist : a simple yet powerful tasklist app! It would be great though if we could configure the swipe option (to check), long press to multi select, dedicated button to mark as important (not just to unmark), fade checked tasks (grey) and finally have a nice dark theme. Apart from that you did a good job! Thanks!

The very best checklist app for me. Includes widget, many don't, check box on widget too.. Bonus! Sublists included in app, create as many as you want or need. Easy to use, does what it says on the tin and more. You can create multiple checklists for different purposes. I have spent many months looking for the perfect 'to do' app. Look no further.. Here it is! Love it 100 stars worth. No ads no subscriptions, perfect perfect perfect!

I've had this app on my phone for months now and it's never worked properly. I use it to share tasks with the other half, but the widget is useless and doesn't show the tasks - just a blank list, and it never syncs between our devices. So I can't upset the other half by assigning him stuff to do while I'm at work! No fun!

I had 5 apps installed trying to find the best one, some were good but all had limited use so no good to me. This one I tried after, I've had it a few days, I did find it abit confusing (I'm not the best with tec) but the more I play with it the more i love it, everything I was looking for, sub tasks, daily & weekly view, build my own routines and the FAQ covers everything if u do get abit lost. Il have another day playing and I'll be well away. Seriously great work guys, no adds and free 👍👍

There is absolutely no reason why you would ever have to link a checklist on your phone to a social media account of any kind. The constant demands from the app every third time I open it asking me to do so, with no option to make that stop, make this app very frustrating. Otherwise it satisfies the basic needs of a checklist app and is worth downloading and using considering that it is free.

Reset password doesn't work. Facebook login doesn't work. Google login doesn't work. How am I supposed to login? 19/05 - to be honest, the app which you provided is really horrible. what happened to all the shared list which I had before? 19/05 - I clicked ur link, it took me to check list pro. Installed it. Logged in via google. It logged in. It was totally a different UI and all my checklist was not there. Need more proof?

Excellent App for any storing reference Data , linked to any Topic . Very fast , stable , reliable and easy to operate the basic features . Nevertheless , inclusion of elaborate updated "Tutorial" for beginners would immensely help in its optimum utilisation. Looking forward to the notifications about the latest updates and oncoming features

Absolutely a technical failure. Without warning it destroyed two years of data. Says it backs up to the cloud... but really just randomly erased all my data without warning, absolutely no change to my account. Waste of time .. going to find something that works. Be warned. Edit... contrary to claim, and to be fair to developers. NEVER contacted them for support at any time. Note until this sudden data loss it did work fine.
