Has good recipes but the fact you have to reload the same recipe every single time you open the app is very annoying.
OK, but in serious need of an update. Search functionality is very crude. Cannot access classes.
Love the visuals. They're not just aesthetic; they really help illustrate the recipe. I see one major feature missing, which is the ability to save or favorite a recipe.
Crashes, doeant load, even the web page looks bad on mac (firefox). I love the sote and will gladly give five stars when i can use it properly.
Bookmarks for favorite recipes and ability to create Shopping Lists plz for 5*s! Otherwise love you guys and what you do. Keep it coming!
I never rate apps but I made a special trip back to the play store to give this app 5 stars.
I use this app all of the time. It has transformed my cooking.
Please add a way to bookmark recipies. A way to make shopping lists would be nice too. Otherwise why even have an app, the website is fine?
very nice app plz put some more recipe
The app has made me a better cook.
If you love to cook.... You have found Nirvana!
Wish the videos would play in Fullscreen mode and rotate with screen
Good app great recipes!
Performs and designed beautifully!
Excellent app. I would love to have to option to cast to Chromecast so I can cook and see the videos on a giant TV! Will give 5 stars if you add this feature. Can't wait for my Joule to show up in another month hopefully!
Why is this not a feature? You're telling me that nearly all the recipes from ChefSteps are indexed with video, but I can't tag them as a favorite so I can find it later? Kinda makes the usefulness of this app a 2/10. Beautiful app, but there no reason for me to use this over my computer.
The Best cook app ,recommended for everyone who want to learn or improve cooking skills
It's good but having the option to save recipes would make it better. I like to browse and being able to save something for later instead of trying to remember would make me change my rating.
After the update, I can't open any recipes with the app.
Great work you guys have cone a long way.
Phone reboot when app close
Love the concept n content.... but app keeps shutting down.... tried it with my friend's phone n still same problem.... could u look into it?
This is my go-to resource for creative cooking
Gets better with every update!!!
Can't even open the app.
This app looks good but the performance is slow and it lags too much. A friend has his on iOS and it doesn't lag nor is it slow. Kindly find a way to improve the performance of this application and the design principles seem like it was ported from iOS app. Please do better
Just got the premium subscription for 24 bucks and then found this app. It does a very good job for mobile recipes. My only grievances are the app doesn't work in landscape mode (which is a pain when viewing the embedded videos). Also, an embedded browser is used when clicking links instead of the default browser? Not sure if it's my old nexus 5 or the app, but scrolling seems to lag which doesn't seem to happen in other apps. Lastly, this doesn't seem to get my favorited recipes on the website.
This app is great, but I really can't justify using it over the desktop site without access to my premium account. I think that those of us who paid for premium should have access to those features in the app. PLEASE add a sign in feature and I will happily give 5 stars. ChefSteps is my favorite website and I just want more streamlined access to it.
Being a faithful Chefsteps follower from the early days I love the idea of this app. The design looks slick as long as you don't open internal links. Clicking on some of them crashes the app, so it has to be fixed. Other things look fab to me. Xperia Z3.
So why is the app being pulled out of the app store?
