Chem101 have helped me so much before any of my exams. Not only it is easy to use, it is also fun to use. I was able to solve my problems and get actual reliable feedbacks so I can fix my mistakes. The only thing I would say is the app sometimes glitches when building a Lewis structure. It might just be my phone but everyone I submit, it woul reset my model.
It satisfies my expectations. It appears to make assignments and testing easier for the professor, and it makes it also easier and more efficient for the students. The professor once mentioned having some technical difficulties, but nothing too bad, I think, and he said he got help from customer service to resolve the issue. And I've never had any significant issues. So, I would say it's a worthy piece of software for chemistry teaching and learning.
This was my second semester using Chem101. Chemistry is a difficult subject for me, and the practice problems my professors are able to assign through the app are invaluable. It is very intuitive to use, and the feedback on missed problems is even more helpful than the assigned textbook.
This was a requirement for my CHEM class. Hey, unlike most required things for classes, this one works! It actually works really well! I really enjoyed the class and this played a great part of that! Chem101 made doing my homework and exams easy and the less-then-1-day-left really saved me on several occasions. Very well done, helpful and easy to use. I recommend Chem101.
Chem101 review I enjoyed using the chem 101 platform this semester. My past chemistry courses have utilized a different website, but I found that chem 101 is just better. I really appreciate the feedback thats given when a question is wrong, and it really helps point me in the right direction. I also love that there is an app that I can use on my phone, as well as the website. Overall, I hope that my next organic chemistry class uses Chem101 for a homework platform.
This was an awesome app. It gave me the ability to work on problems without the need of wifi or a computer. It is very effective for learning and practicing chemistry. I would recommend this.
The app is very easy to use and I like how simple the formatting/design of the app is. Only downside i wished that it would've told you how you got the answer wrong after the 2 attempts.
Amazing app. Works really well good UI and had a great experience. Particularly like the feedback given after a wrong answer - helps you learn what you did wrong.
I have never had an app run this slowly. It keeps crashing in the middle of quizzes, I have to hit buttons multiple times before anything works, etc.- I've tried a few different devices. It's not me, it's the app. If I wasn't required to use this app for a class, I would have immediately gotten rid of it. Please don't use this app for classes, teachers, it is unbelievably frustrating to have a timed quiz that continues counting down time while it buffers 5-10 seconds for every button click.
The concept that this app is portraying is perfect. Students need an app like this to have everything they need in one go. Unfortunately, they lacked in effective content. It is glitchy, lagging and blacks out every hour or so. My students struggle in the classroom because we depend on Chem101 to have them do homework, but everynight they try and it glitches out and they cannot do their homework. Please redo this app to ensure a better experience for students everywhere. Thank you!

The Chem101 app significantly improved my comprehension and performance in my college level Organic Chemistry. I largely attribute the "A" I got in the class to this app! Highly recommend.
Awful. Freezes constantly, and even when working at its best, it has terrible lag.
Honestly was a very good teacher. It helped me learn chemistry better than I ever have. I love the teaching models, and the interactivenes. Honestly was kind of a better teacher than my professor.
Costs money for a system that only accommodates a specific way of solving mathematical problems; often crashes (galaxy s7 edge); and doesn't give notifications for new content. This product is currently(2020) a waste of money.
I hate this app. We use it in class and it is so difficult to use and understand. I do not recommend using this app for students' grades. I know the answers I just cannot use the interface in a set amount of time, which feels unfair in my opinion to grade us on our answers in this app.
Don't sign up unless a class tells you to do so. I was looking for an app to improvw my lewis structure skills, but this us just a teacher tool that requires a code. Wish I hadn't wasted my time and given out my email.
Doesn't show the entire solution after a correct answer, and a bit slow in the response department. Works good otherwise.
It's annoying there's no notification system to alert someone that an assignment is going to be due soon.
I think this is the best chem learning platform I've used. It's helped me learn and study before the exam.

I assign homework to my students with Aktiv Learning. The students like it better than others I've used, it's an excellent value compared to other options, the problems are good, and the app works great!
