Love the ease and convenience of using the app. Sometimes it takes longer for the transaction to show but it's usually not a problem.
The app doesn't work at all. I need to make mobile deposits and can't because you can't even open the app. It is just a white screen.
The app is easy to use, allows me to get my balances and view past transactions to a time that I don't know at the moment. Doesn't lag or close out, no problems so far in my own experience. Very useful and I'd recommend it to anyone banking with chemung canal. I mean.. you can use it if you bank elsewhere. But there'd be no point because you wouldn't have an account and you would be unable to log in ;).
I have used this app for years with no real issues until now. I got a new phone and now the app will not even open. If fact it will freeze my phone. I uninstall and reinstall 3 times restarted my phone everything and nothing. I don't know if anyone other than those who make reviews even reads these but if they do. I really wish you'd make a better app that will work on all phones.
The app had a update and now it doesnt open , i was using this almpst everyday.

App continuously won't open since I upgraded from Samsung S20 +5G to the Samsung Z flip. Called Chemung Canal mobile banking and they said it's because Android has informed them they found some sort of new something that is messing everything up and Android is supposed to be coming up with an update within a day or so. That was last week. I'm still getting locked out! I keep having to call in and get them to let me back in my mobile banking. All I know is someone needs to fix it. Crazy!
The app updated on 6/24, and now it's refusing to let me sign in, telling me that it's detecting the use of "automated click programs" that go against its security policy, and now I can't use it. I have absolutely nothing like that on my phone, and the bank app doesn't clarify at all what app is doing that, if any. Thanks. Very convenient. I need the app to do check deposits and now this has thrown every payday out of whack.
Works great. UPDATE: If you are getting security errors (really just information messages/warnings) in the newer version of this app they are easy to resolve: 1. Message about debug USB options: you need to disable the developer options in Android settings 2. Message about automated clicking app: known apps that cause this include ES File explorer among others. If you uninstall such apps then the security warning in this bank app will go away. The new security features are for safety.
Terrible. Constantly getting the message that they can't validate my information. Won't let me login half the time. When you can login it does what it's supposed to do. Which isn't often. Sometimes I get in and when I try to view accounts it crashes
This app seems to work when it wants to work. It can't be relied upon. You can only get in the app if the app chooses to open. I have come to hate this app when I use to love this app. It seems like the more I gets updated the worse the app gets. I wish they world go back to how the app was 5 years ago. The version of the app could be trust not this version.
Easy to use with simple functions! I love supporting local, and Chemung Canal has been a trust-worthy bank. Transferring funds electronically has never been easier, and everything is kept in one place on the app.
love most of the features, however, if you want to set up fingerprint log in after you select no, the app crashes everytime you try to set it up and you'll need to uninstall then reinstall. very annoying. S10
Looking for another Bank the apps are a Joke! Card control is a separate app that has major issues! Also the biometric login only works with the fingerprint reader not facial recognition! I upgraded from a Pixel 3 xl to a Pixel 4 xl and I can't use the biometric login now! Pixel phones are flagship phones Chemung is far from a Flagship Bank! To many issues accessing my money! Should never have left USAA!
when updates in the system are being done within the app and the system, the correct balances and purchases are not correct. This app should always be accurate irregardless of system updates! love when its working properly but do not like the fact nothing is being displayed correctly.
It's an alright app! The layout is somewhat better, but the icon needs to be better. I want to be able to quickly see the app, instead it blends in. Functionally, it works.
Very useful. Quick balance etc...My only frustration with this app is that it only displays up to the previous month of banking activity. Would rate it higher if I could go back at least 6 months
Very secure and very fast. They make sure I'm the only one dealing with my accounts and they keep a list of everything that gets deposited ir withdrawn. Love them!
New update has not opened app since as of 3 days ago
Updating my rating as of 9/25/19 - The app works great! Only took about a month for them to fix it but I'm able to use the app again. Would be 5 star but due to a month of downtime it loses a star. Using Google Pixel 2 XL stock - no root - fully updated.
One of the best apps out there. I appreciate having quick up to date access to all my info on personal and shared accounts and easy bill payments and instant transfers from one acct to another makes this the perfect banking app.
Can't login. I've had this app for two years now I can't login. Very frustrating. I have outside apps on my phone but that's my prerogative. 4 months later. Still cannot log in.
I used to love this app no problems, until the last week. I can't get into it. I go to regular site can sign in no problem. I even tried removing it and downloading all over. nope not working.
Newest update does not work properly with my Samsung Galaxy 7, it just loads a white screen every time. I have uninstalled, and reinstalled app every day for almost 2 weeks now.
