Love the graphics and the game play. Having the 2d board in the corner helps a lot too. However... The two games that I have played so far end up glitching with phantom pieces that are on the 2d board but not on the 3d board, and every once in a while two pieces will occupy the same space on the 3d board. And the game freezes up. I have no choice but to quit and start new. Would be 5 stars if those were fixed!
READ ME BEFORE DOWNLOADING For being a "free version" the ads are quite distracting and annoying during a game. just now i was playing my first game of chess and a ad pops up and starts playing preventing the view of the opponent's turn phase and then after the video another ad pops up blocking half the screen. I know its a free version and the idea is great but how about you keep the ads AFTER the match is done not during the match.
A great 3D chess for free. Player can choose the races for both black and white sides. That means you can play black and choose human race at the same time. Human and demon races are well designed, the other races need improvement, the Rook should not be swordsman but some mechanical. This app lets player customize lots of things including background, board designs, daylight or night mode, as well as the option to change to classic chess pieces. The bonus minigames are fun and relaxing.
Very cool when it works, nice animations. Very buggy game all other times. I'll take a piece and the piece will remain on the board and vice versa. Or the piece will be on the 2d board and not visible on the 3d board. No confidence to go pvp right now. Also ads were interrupting the match. Not cool. Just a way to break my concentration.
vs the computer, I would start to win the match and the game would flash rapidly. Im able to continue playing the game with no lag. If you want to keep strong ratings I'd suggest looking into that. I have played to lose as well and the flashing dont accure. Though its a great game and it has alot of potential and for that I'm rating this app as a 3. I'm keeping the app to hope that this issue becomes resolved because like I said before its a great game plus awsome potential. Nice work take care!
I can see a lot of effort must have gone into this game, but as far as chess is concerned, this is not an enjoyable app. It's kind of glitchy and despite the display in the upper right showing a more conventional layout, it's not pleasant to make out what's actually going on. This game isn't polished enough to be popular with chess players, and there's a lot of competition.
It would be a great game, I love the pieces! Never seen anything like it. As I said, it would be a great game but I can only play half a match before it starts flitering uncontrollably and I cant do anything. I tried on my kindle and my phone (which is a new phone so the problem was probably the game not the devices) but it didn't work on either.
The game would not allow my king to take the opposing unprotected queen. Instead forcing my king to move! The animation is poor. TOON CLASH 3D CHESS is a worthy 3D excellent animation game that has no ads and is free! Check it out and compare. Also when will there be a blood and guts 3D animated chess game, ages 18 and older kind of game?
I wasn't convinced judging by some of the comments, but so far so good. It is a very well conceived programme with excellent graphics. I particularly like the chess board on the top right hand corner as it will enable me to keep my grandson's mind on the game of chess. Well done to the developers, it can't have been an easy programme to write.
This is a amazing game but I have been experiencing horrible bugs phantom peices, the game randomly closing and peices are stuck inside each other. FIX THE GLITCH. Otherwise 5 stars
Pretty cool game BUT every time I will capture the KING it will say it's a "DRAW" ????? That's why you have only 3 ⭐⭐⭐. But it's entertaining thou! Please, fix this problem then I will give you a 5 STARS. Thanks. Now is a 4 ⭐⭐⭐⭐. My problem now is if I want to play the " BLACK" side it won't let me . I keep ending on a "WHITE" side always. This chess game is nice but to much adds, and while I'm playing the adds come up and when I promote my pieces it disappears and when I move the piece the game crashes fix this and 5 stars 🌟⭐🌟⭐🌟
This app is not really good. Maybe the graphics are a little bit good but the gameplay in general is really not satisfying at all.

This app has very good graphics and it don't spam you with ads, but it has a lot of glitches.
I get the need for ads but the way it in this game is ridiculous. After a game sure but every 3 or 4 moves you get an add playing chess jesus
Concentrate more on what the characters can do other than their powers they have. Other than that the app as a whole its fine to me

great fantasy moving figures chess..really brings to life chess..on my phone it's small figures hard to see..much better on I phone or laptop
Does anyone actually play this? I try to go online and all it does is load I have no choice but to play with the computer and that's getting boring
Love the graphics and the layout! I have 2 issues, though, with the chess game. At random times during gameplay the screen will quickly flicker on and off, and only when it stops flickering (for about 1 second) can I use the game controls to exit out and have to start the whole thing over. While it's flickering i can't do anything. Other issue is the fact there are no instructions on how to play the other games, which would be nice to know as they look interesting enough. Thanks
