Insert a new board for analysis just by moving the current board to the left. Or change the view to the black side by dragging the vertical edge, or if you prefer, use the phone's rotate sensor to do that!

This has promise and would be a very useful app if developed. I button to quickly flip the board so that you're looking from blacks perspective is great, and it would be nice to see the popular options the computer would run against you once you setup a scenario. If something like that is possible I cant figure out how to use it. But this has promise, so I'll keep it on my phone and see what you guys can do with it. Double tapping to remove a piece rather than single tapping would be nice too
This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Will happily pay to remove ads. I'm starting to dive into chess books and I'm not able to visualize the some of the notated lines as well as I would like to. This app makes it so much easier to understand and follow along and allows me to create the same positions shown in the books, regardless of chess rules. Also: THIS IS NOT A VS MULTIPLAYER OR VS COMPUTER ENGINE APP!! Stop rating it like it is one!! Its a sandbox chess board. Thumbs up from me 100%
I used this app to analyse my brothers and my moves as we played a distance game online. It worked really well giving me greater insight into his thoughts and where he was going to attack. It even gives a choice of different engines to run the analysis. Although it could give you a description of each engines core values and styles, such as Attacking or Passive, Skill Level, etc..
It should analyse Games as well... Also, the position analysis via engine on the top of the Interface doesn't look elegant. I mean the lines are get cut which steals the beauty of the Interface. Either it should be below or should be inside a box or a region so that lines doesn't interfare... Because in Comparison it's the Design Of Interface what makes it Unique. I hope the app will get 5 🌠🌠...
How about adding the feature of flipping the board. Also, when a pawn is promoted, a pop-up window with a choice of pieces would be nice. Having to bring up the menu, remove the pawn then manually adding, say, a queen is a bit awkward.
One of the very best app to quickly analyse on the go due to the ability to freely move pieces around the board without legality check just as on a real board. Would be perfect if it worked properly on tablets (menu under the board is not visible nor accessible depending on your screen size).
"The moment I touch the pieces to move to their desired squares, they disappear. Unnecessary complication or bug. Useless." Above was my previous review now I will retract and.thank you for the prompt reply. I will give 4 stars. Maybe 5 stars next time coz almost all other chess apps use the ability to touch the pieces and just touch the squares to put them. This is easier and more mobile friendly. BTW, thank you for the reply. One more I like this app is the default engine is SF12.
How can we change the move order?,whenever i put any position and its black to play, the engine starts evaluating with white perspective. Other than that good interface and very easy to use.
Very useful. Thanks. Is there a way to lock the board when analysing? Sometimes finger goes in bad spot and erase some of the pieces... And keep analysing going when phone screen goes off....
Really? Valid position basic evaluation? While entering moves ... a back button!? I know, plain board but give me a smart board ... If you feel your app is enough cheers, otherwise a little smart will be great.
Good chess engine and intuitive to use Except being able to analyze from the black side. Even when you switch board around chess engine analysis is from the white side.
Hi , why can't we share a pgn directly to this app , Please improve on this. Nobody uses FEN these days. We want to analyse full game rather than a simple position, second it should show #1 , #2 rather than engine values. Third, if we click on a piece in a position it disappears ..very irritating . If you have seen other analysis apps , all of them have PGN support. Improve on this and I'll surely give 5 stars.
I believe that the several not so great reviews havent actually grasped what this app is for. It's not a game player it's an explorer and an excellent one too. Thank you it's awesome!
Very poor app, it does not run on my phone. For example when I touch a piece it disappears and so does another one...money spent for a fictive piece of imagination..
If you are looking for an app to substitute the physical chess board at the time of analyzing your positions or going through literature this is perfect.
It is a great application that helped me a lot to learn the game of chess and it helped me to plan while playing I beat many players because of it Thank you to everyone who contributed to making it ❤️❤️

Please update to stockfish 11 and add more arrow in both pieces because the arrow is only in white or black pieces and arrow size because the arrow is so small and load,save,import and expprt pgn and thank you

Great app. This is not a chess playing app. One uses such app for analysis. If you want a playing app, get Droidfish instead. You won't be disappointed.
Not stacking upon opening and it has got HD graphics soo interesting to play i recommend you to download it and have some fun

It is a good app. But i hv been trying to find flip board possibility.
It's the worst app whenever I tried to play it , I couldn't play it nicely . There are some bugs that needs to be fixed

What a screwy app. Great concept that is not ready for prime time. The controls are less than intuitive to say the least. It seem to always be in set-up mode and you can make pieces appear and disappear simply by touching the screen. Needs to have an easy way to lock the position from editing. Needs easy way (obvious and intuitive) too take back moves. Many controls are ambiguous. Instructions for an app should NEVER be written by the coders!
