It is a good game, but I can't turn off the music. It's an instant no for me.
Short on settings there doesn't seem to be an option to switch the annoying music off, or change the board to black and white. Also slightly suspicious of so many 5 star rates with two word comments...
Don't waste your time with this garbage, not to play on line, annoying music, no option to stop or to control, very primitive app.
Uninstall because I couldn't turn off the music and it was very distracting when you're trying to play chess

Horrible! Constant music. So annoying. Made it through one game. I didn't even get to see the move the CPU made, it covered the board and just said I lost . Not good!

Background music is so annoying and can't be turned off unless you turn off the media volume on your phone.
