DESCRIPTION:This application(free) can be use to view pgn files on your device. It can read pgn files located over your android device root directory that is '/sdcard' on most devices and Download folder. You can even browse device pgn files.
This application will list down all .pgn files on that location, you then just need to select one and press 'Open' button (top-right) in order to load that file, it will take few secs to load (depends on number of games). Once games are loaded they are represented in list format and numbered, you can go to specific game number using 'Go To' button to avoid scrolling if there are lots of games.
Once, game you want to view is selected then you can press 'View' , that will load that game and chess board will appear. You can see all moves under 'Moves' (top-right) that will show last move as you navigate moves. To navigate move you can either select specific move from move list(there are few more helpful buttons) or hide that(by pressing 'Hide' button) and on chessboard do swipe gesture to left for next move or right for previous. For flipping board you can do rotate gesture. At the bottom of the screen you get that instructions as well and that is where you can view comments including annotations of that move. You can enable Auto-Move by Options->Auto-Move toggle button, this will play next move every few sec you want, to disable click same button.

I have not been able to flip the board to change colors (Black or White on top). Why not use the usual symbol (circling arrow)? Also, needs to allow reverse sorting or to place more recent games on top. On long lists one needs to scroll down to the bottom to view most recent games.
I'll UPDATE THIS DAILY UNTIL I GET A RESPONSE!! This app cannot read device to find pgn files as advertised. It does nothing when you press refresh! - see pic attached. How does it work? How do you open to go to the chess board? The only thing that works is the link that takes you to the pro version! Does that work? I actually uninstalled this app some time ago and forgot it didn't work! SENT EMAILS NO RESPONSE!!!
The program look for file on SD card by default. Could not find them and ask for pro version. Not sure if I am willing to pay when couldn't even try out
This app is simple to use in reviewing pgn games and files. Hope that improvements will be made. I enjoy using it to review my games. The only file that finds pgn games in is my download file. Wished it could find my pgn file.
I give it a 5 for unlimited pgn chess games view for free version. The instructions to use the app is confusing thou.

It says, "Directory not accessible pls ensure its not mounted as USB storage device" But I have PGNs in the internal storage root directory and Download folder.
Never worked as advertised. Can not browse phone memory for pgn files. And asking the user to install the Pro version on top of that. What's the pro version? Even more crappier?

Can't even manually load PGN files. It tries to scan storage but can't find my PGN files.

Poor application.....Not useful for the purpose. It ask to put pgn in root directry but doesn't find pgns. Wasted my time.
Cannot view games with multiple variations! Not for professional chess players!
I use this daily for viewing chess games from pgn files.
Pgn files doesn't load properly. Pieces don't move. Dull app... such a waste
The pawns doesn't seem to move... Only displaying highlights.

Considering that it is just for free... you just need to put your pgn file on your main memory, mot in a folder for it to be recognize... if you know how to follow instructions it will work...
Now during tournament I don't need to roam around with laptop just for studying some games
Not everyone keeps there files loose in the directory. Like me, they like to organize things in file folders.
Can't see pgn file as you go, can't open folders on my phone, and doesn't show chess engine analysis. User interface is slow and unresponsive Uninstall and get chess pgn viewer instead.
