Chess Viewer

Everyone needs to be aware that you might not be able to access the books you purchase on this app. I bought a bunch of books and this buggy app wont add them to the library. They even have "redownload" options, apparently because these problems are common, but they fail too. Nobody at Everyman responds to your messages even after weeks of waiting, so i strongly recommend not taking the risk of losing money with this poorly done app and unresponsive company.

Pretty great usually but I added a new course and the app won't read it properly. It is missing almost everything except the first line from the first chapter and it isn't recognising the second chapter so everything is one behind. I checked the pgn on my computer and its working properly so I think it has to be the app.

Import books is failing, just says no pgn files found. This is vn. 2.0.4. Great to see the Android version being updated again, but, hope you can fix quickly. Update: Thanks for the fast response, worked great, appreciated. Always enjoy reading books thru this viewer.

Nice app. It looks like this app is chosen as default to open pins. Folks on Android, I used a file viewer to navigate to the file and tap to open and chess viewer imported it. Hth.

Cannot import pgn files. The "other folder" workaround solution does not work with Android 11.

Can no longer import pgns due to Android's folder changes. Just add a folder selection.

Can not launch. Have installed but won't open. On android 11. Have tried rebooting phone but still no joy.

I love this app, but FYI since Android's latest update prevents the access to app folders we can no longer import our pgns.

Loving it. Does it carry all the books if I install the app in a different device but with the same Google account?

Can not import pgn files. So it is useless.

Tried for a while and read the comments, but I can't figure out how to add a png file... Maybe you guys could have an add button with a file browser to locate my png?

No folder to import. Its not at all in my storage.

Trying to migrate this app and books from another cell phone...

Running 2.0.6 on Android and received email about update to Mastering Chess Bundle; cut paste url you sent did not work but manual copy of the pgn files to the directory you described below to another user did work. I'm glad you listed that otherwise it would have been pretty hard to find the repository.

If only you could save your progress, it could become the game changer it has the potential of being. Not aware that other publishers offer this and it provides a tie in to Everyman which they should maximise leverage on. May not work for every type of book but I am enjoying it apart from the bookmark niggle. Come on guys, go from good to great!

Great idea of reading and selling chess books. The reader still need work. Ability to resize the text. Resize the chessboard, currently the board over powers the text. Ability to go to the next chapter from the current screen Allow touch to move forward or reverse. Need to Bookmark current book if I go to another book. Overall good start, improve the app and reprice your books you can have a successful revenue stream. Update. App needs to be updated, hasn't been updated for a very long time...

Totally useless. Terrible interface. Buggy. Buy a proper chessboard and read real books instead.

Virtually worthless. Bought a Everyman book on Amazon but cannot import it because it's not in the right folder. Incredibly, the app can't search your device to find purchased Everyman eBooks. No way to copy/paste positions. No way to add engine support. Wow.

Please move the multi-variation popup a little bit upward so that it doesn't cover the navigation keys. It's very annoying that it covers that navigation keys making me accidentally tap cancel all the time:(

Hasn't been updated in a long time. Basic interface. No way to save book progress and see what you've read. Bad when your chess books have 100s of games and you forgot which you were on

This won't let me import one of the conpany's own books in cbv format. Rubbish. Stay away.

This has to be the last thing u wanted as a professional player in ur pocket-sized laptop!

Only to add a chess engine like stockfish to analyze the games...please add it ..then I will give you 5 star must...

Wish I could copy FEN to clipboard like other chess ebook viewers.
