- delivered to you digitally. If you elect to download today's paper, you will be able to view it without the further need of Wi-Fi connection or data plan, so you can read it while on the train, in the gym, or on a plane!
A few notes on the Chicago Sun-Times: E-Paper app:
- To turn on automatic downloading of new editions, go to Sources: Tap your publication, then check “Automatically deliver all new issues.”
- You can read stories on the ‘printed’ page or via text view by clicking on the blue title link.
- Web links and phone numbers are clickable in articles and advertisements.
The app is free to download; however, you do need to be a Chicago Sun-Times Print or Digital subscriber to access Today’s Paper. When you first open the app, you will be asked to Log In with your email. Sun-Times subscribers should use the email on their account. If you need to add an email to your account, please go to www.suntimes.com/service. Here you will register your email to your account and get access to digital products included with your subscription.

with this update they ruined this app. you can't change the text size, and if you try to zoom on the digital image of the paper its blurry. With the previous version they had a nice grid to choose what page you wanted. That's gone too. The UI is like the ios version now. Very unhappy.
Enjoy reading Suntimes like paper edition. Took a few views to discover operations & such, but is actually rather easy to use once you get there. I had purchased a subscription to support the investigative work done by the the publication previously, so this was the next obvious step. This is not the only news 'paper' that I read from Chicago, but I feel it's important to the city that we support not just it's news vehicles but those whose work can make our city a better place to live in.
Don't care for the new format. Pges are not responsive and difficult to navigate. Can't tell the stories from the advertising pages as well.
I like the price better than print edition. Read paper on tablet which is much easier to read than a phone. Still getting used to it. Was a print subscriber for over forty years
Congrats CST! You finally fixed the app so that opens; now all you have to do is get it to D/L or open an issue! Clearly, you stink at writing app software... Dont release a revision to an app untill its fully functional. Do more beta testing.
Old app was way better. It dosnt hold the page you are on. Slow downloads. Many other quirks
I've had to uninstall then reinstall every day for the last week. The daily epaper app has gone screwy. PLEASE FIX
Updated version is easier to use & more intuitive than previous version.
What happened? Now the app won't download the newspaper. It just keeps getting worse and worse.
Easy to use audio version.
Updated the app and it removed all the editions that were downloaded.

Garbage , Total Garbage . can't even create an account muchless log-in .
Because I leave my house before 4 am it's nice to have the E paper so i can read it anytime I want.
I use the E-Paper all the time when my delivered paper gets taken.
Tired of the lack of actual reporting. Too much slanted opinion for my taste.
It's simple and it works very well. The app might be from Android 4, but this is one of the best newspaper reading apps I've come across.

Login wont recognize no new issues load bad app
Does not run on Nexus 7 with Lollipop. Worked ok on 4.4.4
I paid for subscription and after downloading this app couldn't pass initial email verification....Go figure...
I love the e-paper. I just wish they could get the app right. The previous versions always had issues. The new app is no better. I have to exit and relaunch every day to get it open and the latest edition to download. Zooming with the finger pinch method takes several tries - on every page. On the old app, the page browser would inadvertently pop up then take forever to go away. On this app, the page browser doesn't come up unless you go to the menu t to open it. Frustrating experience.
