Great if you're on a budget or just want to wander at your own pace. Almost pointless to go to the ruins without some guide as you don't get a booklet with your ticket to guide you round/provide any info. The narrative timing and content was amazing and powerful. We downloaded the tour before we went into the ruins and it worked offline without any data. It made our trip perfect. Also the kids loved it.
If you're going to Chichen Itza but don't want the cost of a tour guide ($700mxn) - like we didn't, then definitely get this app!! Almost pointless going to the ruins without some guide as you don't get a booklet with your ticket to guide you round/provide any info. This app provides good level of detail of history and of the ruins. Easy to use and really interesting. Certainly worth the money.
Ek Balam and Chichen Itza had some repeat content and it took us a bit to figure out how to use the app, but once we did I was very happy with it! Saved a lot of money over a tour and we could go at our own pace. The app does work offline.
Loved it. Very inexpensive and works well. I wish it explained some things a bit more in-depth, but I guess it's already pretty detailed since we spent two and a half hours doing the tour.

Good alternative to a Guide. We wanted to wander around the ruins at our pace which the app helped in. The narration was entertaining and also had great information about the history of Mayans which was an add on. Loved it

We used this app to self guide around Chichen Itza and it was worth the in-app cost (be mindful that it seems to be USD quoted in the app and was more in AUD for example), adding lots of useful insight while allowing us to go at our own pace and avoid a large tour group.

Helpful to guide us through Chichen Itza on our own
Great tour overall! It would be perfect if there were more pictures to orient yourself if your GPS isn't very accurate. The GPS on Google maps was accurate, but the GPS on the app was different. The audio was useful and really improved the quality of our tour around Chichen Itza. The quality of the information was accurate and the narrator was well spoken. The content was perfect, but the GPS accuracy issue made it hard to find where I was.
