We started off with Child Journal 2 years ago when they launched the app. They've added a ton of helpful features since then. They take feedbacks from existing daycares to add their features. Through these 2 years, I've contacted them on many occasions. either to request some features or to report a bug and they actually took action on them super quickly and they continue to do so even now! I cant stop raving about how useful this software is and amazing team!
Sending paper invoices to each child earlier was a big task! plus sometimes parents would "CLAIM" not receiving them, but with child journal, I can send the invoices within the app as well as email it to the parents and they can pay online too. Managing payments is soooo much easier now!
The previous app I used was very confusing and would give me alot of issues. Glad I switched to this one upon my friend's recommendation. It's become an integral part of our center's management
The sign up process was so difficult. This app doesn't allow me to sign up. They popup an alert!! to go to some site. At least they could give me a link to go to that site. After I get through and sign up myself in that site, this app doesn't let me sign in..
Love all of their features. Especially the kiosk mode check-in system, where a child is checked in by the parents using their unique code. parents can digitally sign and also, if for some reason we want to manage attendance manually, we can do that as well within the app.
Love this app! Parents are very impressed at being able to check the app while at work, to see how their little ones are doing. Also a very clever way for recording staff performance. Developers are open to questions which is great! Thank you ;-)
Their customer support team is amazing! Iam not very tech-savvy. Their representative explained me the how to use this app very patiently. Using this app is a breeze. I got my daughter (who also runs a daycare) sign-up with this app and she loves it too!
I love this app for my small in home daycare. It helps me keep up with daily activities and communicating with my families.
I did my research and found this app to be much cheaper and having all the necessary features to manage a childcare center, Plus they offer a free one month trial
This app helps in updating the parents about their child's activitis at the center instantly and the pick-up process has become super easy too. plus i can send invoices, manage different locations, monitor room ratios and do a lot more much efficiently now
Such a lovely app! helps me monitor my child's activities and times to follow a routine for meal, pee/potty (my kid is potty training right now), nap times among others.
We love the idea of this app it helps communicate with families very well, we also like to make parents happy seeing what their children are up to. We liked the app but needs more option for payments.
Great app for communication between staff and parents. They can use the messaging feature within the app to communicate with eachother.
Every now and then parents thank me for switching over to this app. they love seeing their child's pictures and videos in their busy schedule.

I like it, however since i have multiple locations it would be great if there is a better option other than logging several times
