The interface of tadpoles for childcare providers is NOT user friendly at all. it constantly freezes, it takes eons to actual load and send photos. If you're a childcare center looking for an application to communicate with your families, just use Brightwheel. It's landslides better.
I work in a child care center as the lead infant teacher. My director wants all of the teachers to start using a classroom app to communicate with the parents. I just started using this app this week for my class. I had to play around with it a bit and learn how to use all of the features. It didn't take long and I love it. It's easy to use and has everything I need. The parents of the little ones in my class love it too. It's so much easier than sending home written daily reports.
Very neat app, I love sending parents pictures. I would like to see 2 changes: 1)Tadpoles Pro currently shuts off background apps like Pandora. This is particularly an issue during naptime- we cannot open Tadpoles Pro without it shutting off naptime music which then disrupts the children's nap. 2) It would be helpful if Tadpole Parent would allow parents to actually enter the meals. It is time consuming to RE-ENTER the information as a teacher who is also supervising play & greeting parents.
This is a great app .Customer service is awesome and app is easy to navigate allowing me more time to teach and less time with my tablet.And the parents all love it.I have never had a complaint.
i like the idea of this app but you cant talk to parents in real time and it always lags for pictures. They will bulk up, regardless of wifi, and then mass send pictures/videos later or the next day.
Love the app. Only negitive thing would be when taking a picture, it zooms in and makes it landscape. Does the same for my pictures in my gallery.
Communicating with the parents and sharing pictures throughout the day makes tadpoles wonderful. The parents and staff at my daycare love it!

I have this app on an android and I find I cannot move children from one class to another and I also have trouble clocking myself in
Excited I no longer have to log in via the internet!

I love this app, very helpful
No way to message parents easily and efficiently within the app. Only daily notes. I wish there was a way to click on multiple (or one) parents and email them simultaneously so you don't have to go back and copy word for word the email they provided and go back to a separate email. If there were actual back and forth messaging on the app I would give it more stars. Brightwheel is better and easier but my new daycare job uses Tadpoles sadly.
