Chineasy Cards

Love this app. I have them all duolingo, memrise and a host of others. Chineasy taught me WAY more words shorter time! I love they're format thats similar to flashcards that build sentences. Their pop quizzes actually make you think I the language rather than just memorizing the content. It doesn't have a speech function which Duolingo has, but Chineasy does teach you to read/write. Chineasy let's you learn each word not sentences like other apps where you don't know what you're saying.

I really love this app this helps me to memorize the characters much faster and easier. But I really hope that from level 9 and the rest of the levels, I don't need to pay.

Love the app but please add an option to disable haptic feedback. Sometimes I like to use the app before bed but the vibrations from my phone don't let my dog sleep.

I couldn't create account and sign up it sends unknown error , and I couldn't keep up progress after level 8, but really enjoyed the first 8 levels

Cool stuff, beautiful graphic . Tho I wish it read the words in the quiz section so we could get familiarize with the sound even more!

Th game is amazing! I love it! It has many interactive features and it's very addictive. I also like the design, it's pleasing to the eyes. I have one thing that bothers me tho... Sometimes, the game teaches you words you wouldn't use in every day life. For example: I don't think the word crater is very needed beacuse I don't even use it in my mother tounge. I understand that you might want to imply the words we've learned to create other terms but still. I would prefer to learn them at the end.

I love this app, it gives history, tradition and many educational words that I can use to speak Chinese more fluently. The cards are simple and makes learning easy and enjoyable. The pictures are beautiful and so simple. The only reason why I wouldn't rate it 5 stars is because for people who can't afford, they can't access any levels past 8. So it's not as user friendly. Very good app though!

App issues, I cant connect to the app, I installed and reinstall the app and same thing it won't open

Beautiful illustrations. Default is simplified Chinese, would love to be able to change it to traditional. Only simple quizzes at the end of each level. edit to add: Yes traditional is available in the cultural insights part of the app, but I would still like the option to set it as the default. Would add higher stars if quizzes based on traditional were available.

Chineasy is amazing. I am finding it a super effective and fun way to learn traditional characters. I've signed up to a paid account to access the full app. The quizzes are good for practice, but the only (only!) thing that is lacking for me right now is spaced repitition flash cards to help memorize characters. Please can you add that to the app? Then it would be perfect! 謝謝！

This app is so helpful. I'm a Chinese Canadian trying to learn to read again for the first time since I was 6. This gives me the discipline and pacing I need and is the only app that's worked for a beginner like me. The short quizzes at every step are structured to really effectively adhere the words to your brain. My only criticism is that I wish the pronounciations were louder and the sound effects quieter–I keep having to adjust my volume for that. Hope it will be available in the next update.

It's a excellent app, at least it was, you had made many changes in the last year, visually appealing and great for learning but somehow, in the way, the app it's not working properly anymore. It take forever just to show the meaning and sound of each word/phrase. I'm a premium user, i upgrade the app, i installed and reinstalled but there is still lot of lagging and it's annoying.

I love this APP. Best one I have ever seen. You go step by step, get the sense of achievement and the overall counter is great. Definitely recommends it! If one tiny suggestion to make it 100% perfect: when we do the quiz with all the words since the beginning and get a True/False question on a character, if False, could you remind us the actual meaning? Because sometimes we know its false but don't know which one it is and by the time we finish the quiz we forgot the shape to look it up

phenomenal app! i like the way the characters are represented with images and all of the app's graphics are easy to understand and lovely to look at! well worth paying for - though i do wish there was also an option for a one-time only payment, instead of the subscription model. that's the only thing i think i'd change, to be honest.

I study many languages (Russian, Indonesian, Malaysian, German, and Chinese). This is by far the best vocabulary app for Mandarin I have found. Each of the characters is presented in a well designed way and offers an explanation of why the character is used (great idea for the radicals). The price may seem a little high but when you compare it to other apps that don't offer as much artful ideas, it is definitely worth it. Currently (according to my calculations) the app offers about 2,500 words

Great. Recommended for everyone who wants to learn Chinese. It's really simple with this app. But I have a problem with the microphone. It doesn't work, I can't do my speaking lessons, the 'calculating circle' animation spins a little long and it tells me that I pronounced everything incorrect. Problem occurs only on my phone.

A pleasant, vibrant little app. My only complaints are that it shows either the traditional or the simplified character, depending on which makes for a better mnemonic, as well as the fact that it only gives two out of five words in the test that makes up the last half of each stage. However, regarding the former, they do give the other form of the character in the notes.

I don't usually buy memberships that easily, but this is amazing! Tbh, I have no problem with the quiz questions being easy beacuse (at least for me) it helps to reinforce and memorize the newly learned words that much easier. Illustrations and little explanations of the origins of words help me a lot too. I hope I will get a good use of this app.

I love the app: the history, the graphics, the clarity of pronunciation. The only improvement I would like is to have better access to a writing function. It would be great to be able to write the word while listening to the pronunciation and seeing the character. At the moment it seems that a written option is only available for the word of the day section of the app.

Hello chineasy team. i started to use ur application, but found out, that there is no any quiz to be examine myself. just quizes at the end of each level. its too inefficient. i need more quizes, with all levels i've passed. and no search is available. please, make a searc by words. I want to find, for example, snow, i remember, that i saw it before, and can't find. i have to look for all cards in the simplified, then in the traditional.

I really like the app and I would like get the paid version in order to learn Traditional Chinese. However, the speaking section of the app does not work for me. It claims that what I say is always wrong. I asked a native speaker friend to give it a try on my phone but it did not work for them either. I realize this might be a problem wih my microphone although highly unlikely since it works with other apps. I would like this issue to be fixed before I pay for extra content.

Better then Duolingo! If you want to learn Chinese characters Chineasy is so awesome! The graphics are great for memory retention, but what I especially like is the progression of the cards/questions. I can't say enough how much I love it. Definitely worth adding to your list of Chinese learning apps! Please Please Please add Cantonese and tradition characters aswell!!! 🙏🙏🙏

Very interesting concept and great UI, but i can't understand the rationale for not being able to split the exercises by simplified Vs. Traditional characters. The illustrations would still generally be applicable. Unfortunately, I can't rely or use the app further as a study tool for this reason. Best of luck!

This got old quickly. After around lesson 90 it feels like there are very few new characters in each lesson. Yes they are new words, but (combinations of known characters) it's a drag to continue. The questions are so easy, they are a waste of time. Overall the illustrations are nice but probably better suited to a book than this app format.
