The game is just bad It is rigged so that your important pieces will be taken out quickly.
What is going on? After the latest update the game has turned to the Chinese character version..... Not a good situation.

This is a good little game. I've had this on all my smartphones for years and have played it hundreds of times. But there is one VERY annoying feature added in one of the recent updates. The opponent's 2s are almost always turned over right in line to take the 6s. It happens nearly every game (sometimes twice in a game) so it definitely isn't chance, and gets irritating after a while. This should be modified so the pieces are laid out randomly again.
Played it thousands of times and will continue to play. 5 STARS
English instructions have an error in describing how the cannon captures, implying that it can kill an enemy soldier next to it cause it's lower rank. It can't, obviously. Game AI is fairly bad. If you get a phone call while in game and then return to it, it always resets the game back to start, which is quite annoying. Still, a decent quick time-killer, especially if you like winning (since again the AI player is quite bad)
It was a very good pass time game. But this version has a serious bug. Too many "Elephants". It is not supposed to be in this way.
Frankly, it's just not a very strong player... and that's too bad.
I'm sure the AI cheats. I happened on an ending when it said I won, but it still had two possible canon moves it did not see.
Overall, great game nice UI.
This is a great game and it brings back good memories but when I turn my screen off, the game restarts. I often turn my screen off because of habit to save my battery when I focus on something else. Every time I turn it back on, the game has been reseted. Please stop the game from restarting every time the screen turns off.
This is a good game however there should be another difficulty level. Having more of a challenge would make the game better.

Poor AI. I won a game because the oponent could no more move his pieces but his cannon could still move and kill my pawn. Love this game!
Short and clever game. Perfect when only few minutes are available. Missing stats, improved AI, "play again" option. Graphics are very simple.
Nice to kill time, to win the game u need a lot of luck because of the position of the pieces, and a little skills and ability
Like draughts or chess, but because pieces are unknown until the are revealed by the player a game can end in failure even if you look as though your walking it and vice versa of course.
Can improve further with game stats or more difficulty levels though!

The game is not bad, but why programmed it so it is more disadvantaged for the gamer and advantaged for the computer? The computer's pawn is often placed right next to my King, and the computer's Canons are always placed in one piece away from King or other big pieces. This does not make the game harder, but impossible to win. I think it will be better if the pieces are placed randomly. There's no need to have different levels.
New updated version is worse. We can't play it now as screen size is not matched and can't go main manu back after go to setting page.
