CHL - Canadian Hockey League

Issue since the last update on my Samsung S20 When you select the scores option in any league the scores have always defaulted to the previous days score which I believe should be changed to the current days score but that isn't the current problem, when the scores window opens you can no longer select a game and see the details for that game. It would be nice to see that option return to the app.

This app has EVERYthing and is really speedy to update scores and stats. I love being able to follow the Road to the Memorial Cup and the myriad articles and videos available. As a huge CHL fan, I really appreciate this app and how comprehensive it is. An absolute must for CHL fans.

Just got the app tonight so not too much to say about it yet. It would be nice to be able to pick more than one favorite team to receive notifications for though. All 3 of my teams are in the playoffs and notifications would be great.

Cannot click on the players names to get individual stats/info. Does not send push notifications for goals/scores, even though I have given the app permission to do so...which is strange because when I first downloaded the app it did send them, on a very long delay, but it did send them. I agree with previous review that some information takes you to a website as opposed to staying in the app. Here's hoping a new version of the app will fix some stuff.

Disappointed in this industry leading app. The scoresheets take you to a website. The ability to get from scores in one league to another league is not easy. Scores on the main page in the old app was better. I can see all in one place being better, however it still needs some major work. I wish the old app was active until this one gets worked out.

For me it doesn't show all the stats for the games(goals and penalty minutes), can't click on a player and see their stats, if I hit back to see other scores, it takes me back to the home screen and I have to go back to scores. I miss the WHL app, luckily Portland has their own app that actually works, but being a hockey fan, I'd like to see how other teams and players in the league are doing. Please figure it out and make it better.

You never know if the app will actually open when you want to use it. Some times it just closes down and other times it gets to the main screen and says loading complete but just sits on the main screen. Not a very useful if you want to stay up to date on live scores. Notifications don't work either and keep resting on me. I'm better off going to the store the next day and buying a newspaper to get the scores.

Way too much navigating to get to simple information. Poor design with massive blank spots. Rosters missing. Can't see player career stats. Game by game stats. Can't adjust which stats you want to see from what I can tell. Useless app for anyone but the average fan that just wants to see the basics. Just came out so let's hope it improves. In the meantime I'll continue to use the old app until it stops working.

Missing a lot of features it should have. Can't see standing overall or sort by win percentage. Notifications don't work. Can only select one team. I'll continue to use FlashScore for notifications of my favourite teams. The CHL web site is far superior except for the fact that everytime it is loaded it defaults to showing 40 or 50 shots as well as goals and penalties. I hope the CHL didn't pay much for this waist of time!

The newest version of the app is much better. Biggest thing I would like to be added is to be able to view a players profile and stats by tapping their name in the box score. Right now you need to go to stats, then by team, then choose the player. A bit frustrating. I had all the WHL/OHL/QJMHL apps before and they were fine before.

Horrible app. They either retired the other OHL one or forced the developers to pull it. This app is super slow, takes 45 seconds to even start and open on a Pixel 3. Most of the pages just say "check back later", how about you release a full app, not a rushed job. Full of ads as well. Update. Have to uninstall and try to reinstall this piece of garbage to see if it will load.

Completely useless app. If it even opens without stopping. Can't create an account to get notifications from the teams I want to follow. I'm only giving it one star because it won't allow zero or negative stars. I've sent error report after error report and haven't heard a peep, nor has the issue been fixed. Go back to Sub League specific apps. App deleted.

Junk. App consistently refuses to load. Does not send notifications as per my preferences. Extremely clunky when it works at all. The old WHL app wasn't perfect but work far better than this atrocity. Somebody screwed up big time and apparently nobody is fixing it. Shameful. (This is my worst review EVER!!!)

I like the app, however today I noticed there is no icon for the OHL. It seems to have disappeared. But I find it easy to use

awful, finding the scores takes multiple presses, it should be way more accessible, and the UI of the scores is awful almost hard to see whats going on, and to check specific game stats the app sends you to the website..the individual leagues app were great, this one is awful. worst app on my phone.

Your APP continues to have serious issues. When I opeed the APP it says "loading content" and then nothing happens.. I have an S7, it's a pretty up to date phone, so it's not my phone. I suggest you look into it because I had to uninstall it since it doesn't work. It's a shame because I'm a Moosehead fan and would like to have it.

Contains the essential information in an easy to access way. I like how it separates your favorite individual team, league and the entire CHL. I find that the app is prone to crashing and often takes several attempts to load on my Samsung s9.

The whole point of having the whl app was so I could follow the league easily. I dont need another team app my team has a perfectly fine one. I need an app where I can check league scores quickly. The whl app was fine before. Next time if it ain't broke dont fix it. EDIT: and now on top of it being less user friendly and having less features than the old whl app, it CRASHES ALL THE TIME. EDIT2 they have now taken the overall option out of the standings! Y'all actively making this worse now smh.

CHL app 0 Stars. Never got the Frist Page. I always used the WHL app. Sometime I would have to restart it. However, I was able to use it. The CHL app I can't use at all. Gets to the startup page and it sits there. Did restarts, reloading, and even let it run. Not even once it went anywhere. Luckily I can still use the team app, or the WHL webpage. Bring back the WHL app, OR GET THE CHL APP RIGHT SO PEOPLE CAN USE IT...If everyone marks yes for every 1 and 2 🌟 review they may get the hint.

Constant stream errors. I'm trying to watch the first game of the season and 10 minutes into the 1st period I am seriously thinking about getting a refund on my whl live subscription. 4 stream errors already which require a stream restart. Not only is the stream flaky I can't cast from my Samsung phone to my Samsung TV. Serious flaws in this app. You've really went offside on the app CHL.

Fix it. Come on already it'll be the 2020-21 season before this finally works. Crashes constantly, nothing loads correctly, could certainly be more user-friendly. There was nothing wrong with the old app. This is ten steps back.

This app is awful. What was wrong with the old OHL app??? You have to scroll through from the beginning of the month to get at today's scores. Terrible. I've deleted this app and use the Sportsnet app. It gives the scores and standings right to the minute immediately. This app is just plain awful. Whoever designed it should be fired.

Very disappointing experience with the new CHL app. When the release was delayed, I was hopeful that they were making sure it was good before releasing it but it seems like they rushed it. Half of the functionalities are just linking you to a website which takes you out of the app. Even something as simple and popular as checking scores. No reason to download the app. Just visit each league's website. Great idea, very poor execution. Rating this 1 star because Google won't let me go any lower.

This app is a huge reduction in capabilities from the discontinued OHL app. Almost all OHL fans I know keep their eyes on all the games being played on a given night. In order to do that now, they would have to select a succession of teams as their next favourite. In the old app, you could see all the games, as well as getting the scoresheet/roster of each game. This app is barely a 1 and that is because you don't get to choose ZERO!!

Crashes frequently. When it does actually work, it takes several minutes to load a single screen, even when connected to wi-fi. Extremely difficult to navigate to WHL team rosters and standings. Horrible app...

I just updated so I hope I can come back with a positive change to the review. However this app has been terrible from the get go. I might get one end of period notification for my favourite team. No notice for the goals or the other periods or end of game. Also, it seems a bit silly thay every time you click more info it takes you to a webpage when the old OHL app loaded the info right in the app. I have no clue why they canned the ohl app for this garbage.

Hugely disappointed that I was forced into this app from the perfectly functional OHL app. At least separate schedule from scores like it was originally. Not much use to me. Easier to go to the OHL website for information. Would give it "zero" if it was an option. Still the worst app ever

Apparently you can't cast this app, there's very little information about using it; it's been a real hassle I don't know who designed it but it needs to be consumer friendly and work on the agendas of the viewing audiance. Possibly the worst application experience I've had.
