An amazingly written story in one of the most bizarre and unique fantasy worlds that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Your choices drastically effect the story and leave a lot of room for replayability, the characters are all very well written and likeable, the writing has humor and charm, and I can't really think of a single major flaw with the book as a whole. Definitely one of the best Hosted or Choice of game that I've played.
This is the choose-your-own-adventure I use to measure all others. The writing is witty and dry with some of the most delightful descriptions I've come across. Excellent works building that treats the arcane abs patently absurd as completely ordinary - true to the setting. I seldom replay these more than a few times, but I've played this the same way several times over just to reread the story.
By far the most poorly represented choice story in the whole line up. The thumbnail is silly and the description boring. But the story is actually fantastic. It is dark, crazy, and all around just darn good. It is actually a serious story and crazy dark at times. I loved it.
I give 5 stars to the story & to this developer for reasonable 1 time unlock fee with no additional fees. I give 3 stars to the following - Once you play through once, on re-plays you should be able to go back to specific points. A few glitches - 1 partner likes me about 20% less although I made the same decisions; Wakefield changed genders randomly; Links to wrong text when Stone visits in hospital which refers to me knocking Wakefield out when I did not make that choice.
Just as Creatures Such As We, this book/choice filled game is absolutely magnificent! The choices do matter and the characters are definitely realistic & developed. The setting, worlds, writing style, and themes are quite interesting too. Also, another completely free one that is underrated!
I remember playing this year's ago but not finishing it. Now i played it fully, and it's a beautiful piece of literature. I appreciate it now more than i would in the past, considering I've been writing recently myself. This game has inspired me to write more fantasy related stuff, and oh boy am i gonna try. Much love for the creators of this.
I put off reading this bc my past experiences with fantasy novels put me off, but this was quite fun! While yes there are a lot of made up words, they definitely don't overwhelm the story and the plot is quite clear. I haven't replayed it yet so idk about replay value but really enjoyed the first read.
Pretty cool game that gives ample options and story without overwhelming the reader, no bugs as of yet that I've come across so bravo. Awesome writing with cheeky lines humour dispersed across the story, and an inventive setting.
It had a really great story and I'm probably going to explore some different options. The setting and lore are very engaging and I plan to check out more by this author.
Very well written. The coices have weight, the characters a likable and there are many options to create an unique character.

Impeccable writing, beautiful worldbuilding, and altogether a great CYOA game. I wish it were longer, though. I never got to pay off my student loans (but I guess that was to be expected??)
I don't understand why this game had such a low score compared to others in its genre. It's delightful, the choices carry weight and you can be who you want. Definitely worth trying.

I haven't finished the story because I've played halfway through and still don't have a clue what's going on. The story is very unclear and confusing.

Amazing story and great game overall. The characters felt very much alive and the story was brilliant and incredibly thought-out, it's a shame I put off playing this earlier. There's a few spelling and/or grammar errors and one of the endings doesn't seem to work quote as intended, but everything else more than makes up for it.
