Choice of the Dragon

Great app and very fun. However I feel there aren't enough choices or situations, and it's too short. Every play feels the same, and the same thing gets boring after a while. There should be more situations, and perhaps some things that only have a chance of happening, and perhaps things that have higher chances of happening depending on your actions. The ending also feels unfinished and lazy. It doesn't fit in with the rest of the game and really isn't a good ending.

Good for the first few playthroughs, but each playthrough has the same events, and some choices don't even matter. Not much replayability unless you want to see every outcome. Good mechanics for stats, especially because they influence your choices. Unfortunately, having a mate is useless and makes no difference in the story, and what's worse, moving in with them just ends the story. I'd love more variety and more impact on choices. I'd also love different events for each playthrough.

It's a really fun and interesting game, I eish that there was a bit of in between with the choices, but overall it's really great. I also wish that there is a variance between things, like you can find a mate, but if you fail thats IT. It would be neat to befriend another dragon, build your own place or do something else with your time. It is really fun, and it's neat dialouge.

For what the game is worth, this is a lovely "Choose your own adventure" novel. Or text based game, because it was sadly so short. I really, really had enjoyed this game, out of all of the stories you've written really. I wish that if the story were longer it would further develop characters or lengthen events, rather than jumping from one to another. Especially getting to know our mates and goblin tribe, maybe even our raided kingdom. But overall, this was a very well made game!

"A Fine, Comical, Short Text-Based game with unnecessary choices. FINE FOR 1 PLAYTHROUGH". Just for fun if you're craving for this type of game and you can't find anything else better. Story is comical, which is good, as the game doesn't take itself too seriously. Choices only gives you different dialogues and scenarios but doesn't change any chapters endings. I recommend it if you feel like playing (But mostly like just reading) a short comical text game.

It's alright. I had fun the first playthrough but after that it got boring and repetitive as it is more of a way for the developers to make a few bucks. It is not worth $5 for premium. If you want to play a real long text based game play Magium. That one is actually worth paying for but you can technically play for free.

It's really come a long way since I first played this... So much more content, but I can't seem to find a mate (How do I court the black serpent?) All things considered, an excellent experience, but maybe have an option to watch an ad to immediately get back to adventure? Having to wait 19 minutes to restart is kinda stupid.

I had fun playing as a dragon in this text adventure. Was a little sad that the ending came so quickly, but I didn't die and had a decent horde. So that was cool. I liked that I could check the stats. The game crashed twice, but I didn't lose my progress so I didn't mind. I will probably play through again with different stats.

Maybe 5 is a little generous but 4 seems to low, so allow me to explain, first off I love dragons so this hits close to my heart and I very much like the customizable aspects and highly varied and relative options, the game is supported by ads, there infrequent so don't impede the story, only downside is it seems a little short but from a developer/writer prospective it's much more work than you would think. All in all an enjoyable experience worth at least one playthrough maybe even more

Well, the game is good and it has a very beutiful story, and I like that is in spanish too, because a lot of my friends (I'm from Spain) didnt understand it and I had to translate it before noticing the language option. The bad part is that it is very short, and, in my opinion, a second part would be amazing, and a lot of people has good ideas, even me, so I dont know what is taking you so long, but what we need is a second part, and maybe two or three pictures of our dragon

I really love playing this app. It's great to have a dragon game where the player makes the choices and it effects how others see us and whether or not we live to the end. The only thing I don't really like, is that it's a bit short. It's long, you could spend 30-45 minutes reading and then go again in 20 minutes, but I wish there were more chapters added since, as the game suggests, dragons live for centuries. There are plenty more adventures to add.

This game is fun enough for what it is, but it is far too short. The ability to customize the dragon you play as is good enough for such a short story, and the choices are varied enough for decent replayability. It is a free game with a decent story to tell, and the ADs feel nonexistant. What more could a person ask for?

The idea is good, could have gone in a better direction if there was/were More depth and meaning for choices A longer story A reason to even play more than 10 minutes and anything else really. Overall, its a good idea with poor execution. i love dragons and stories about them. but this left me wanting more. needs work.

This was amazing. I have no other words to describe it. I love role-playing and this really did it for me lol- my only problems were that it was difficult to be friendly and benevolent, but it's possible. Also, getting a mate was wayyyy too difficult, so alas I had to abandon this....my gæ dragon was not too pleased about that. But again, it's a great interactive story!

I liked the personality the narrator had, and the story required you to pay attention to what your dragon specialised in if you wanted a good outcome, which is a nice touch for me. My first complaint is how short the story was; it took around half an hour, maybe less for me. Secondly, the price needed to get rid of ads was too much for such little content. Especially when you could just turn off your wifi for no ads. Fun read, but I wanted more and the price is ridiculous.

I have never loved an app game this much in my life. It's short, its sweet and it can get brutal at some points which is something I love. I've only just completed my first play through and I understand that you need some way to monetise a free game, but a 20 minute wait is a bit much in my opinion. But the game I got in the 40 minutes my first play through took was the best thing I've seen some out of this appstore

fun to play one or two times but there aren't many different stories you can form. played this twice a few years apart and nothing changed, still recommend for at least one playthrough though if you like text rpgs and dragons. you can also customize your dragon which is pretty neat.

I sincerely enjoyed this game. I won't spoil, but while the story is short it is full of thrill. The world is easy to imagine and the options to shape your dragon's personality and story, not just follow a set path, very much appeal. So yes, five stars. I only wish the mates could be claimed, or for there to be a sequal. Otherwise, thank you authors for making an hour worthwhile.

This game is amazing. I have read others' reviews and totally agree with the positive reviews. I finished this game in the 2-4 hours after I got it and the only complaint I have is that the game ends too ubruptly. Please make a second part where (for example only) you wake up and get a little baby and find the world to have gotten technology or something. I will tell every1 I know to download and try it if u do update it. Oh and BTW, there was no bugs, no errors and no pop-up ads. Thx

Nice game but also needs to improve a lot. The stats are completely useless and it does not affect my choices and i do not know how my choices would affect my stats.The third time I replayed, the screen is blank and i cannot continue playing. Very disappointed.

Hell yeah! This game was honestly very entertaining and fun alot more than most of the games you can download on your phone. I honestly appreciated the time they must have put into the game and it really was fun like a breath of fresh air : ) I'm honestly going to replay it because my dragon got messed up and died so I'm going to try a feather winged dragon now and see what happens : ) In the future if you could make more options instead of being set as dragons love treasure etc.

Good, but very short. Closer to a short story than a novel, and for the price, I expected more. The save feature is great. Cunning/honor doesn't make much sense to me : those aren't contradictory, you can be both clever and honorable. Separating them into cunning/directness and honor/dishonor might have been better. Also, I usually dislike X/Y type of stats, because it implies that you can only be one extreme or moderate. Not both extremes. Alas I lack of space to explain it properly.

Absolutely amazing story based choice game. Totally grabs you from the beginning and holds you tight the whole time. Extremely well designed and a perfect mix of reading and decision making. Satisfying outcomes to your decisions. Would rate a 6/5 if I could. Please make a sequel!!!

I love the idea. I also love many of the ideas and much of the writing, and quite enjoyed the first time I played it. But then I played again, and ran into a nearly identical situation, and got an identical outcome which was something very unlikely, and my suspension of disbelief, and my interest, vanished in a puff of logic.

maybe i only reviewed this when i had an iphone. i can't afford to pay for it twice, but i do love it immensely and think it is still the best Choice Of game to date. It's simply excellent and there should be more like it. A sequel or expansion would make my millennium. suggestions if y'all ever revisit/revise this game: •more colour options •more limb options(including zero) •expanded stats page with dragon name, appearance, and maybe allies/minions

The choices are pretty amazing, and I really like the game itself, but I think the creator should put a few more options, preferably one where you can have a rider/ be a pet! But I know its hard to create games and update them! Keep up the good work though!!

It was a great game overall, and its easy to put down too! A fine bonus indeed;I would love an update were you can choose a power/breath/tail/weakness to make it challenging and unique! Ex: Lucky/Ice/fire/Sickle. I think it should also,optionial, Were you can be a God sent from the gods to watch over. I would (And already have) Reccomend this game as it is good! I may or may not have questions but i`ll leave those unheard.. 12/10 would reccomend!
