I rarely leave reviews, but....I really enjoyed (somewhat obsessively) the first story in this game. Tbere were a few typos/grammatical errors that didn't interfere with play. I went thru a LOT more tickets than I should've. Next game, I'll keep a manual count to be sure. It was a lot of fun, and if the dev decides to publish this as a book, I'd buy it. Couldn't save to the cloud, though. Requires internet access to update & save.

The stories are very interesting. A page turner definitely. But the choices you make really doesn't matter, there are no diverging paths that the story could take and no consequences for each choice you make. There is only the one and only storyline, so no replay value. But there are not many themes to explore, it is overall just an okay story

The ideas are good, but there are way to many points where you should be able to choose, but can't, and points where both choices do the exact same thing, despite being completely different. I mainly just have a problem with "And Their Heroes Were Lost", due to it having the most choices that didn't matter. However, I can't say that this app is completely negative, as I did enjoy some of the characters and storylines I experienced, though they were mostly in the other two stories. TL;DR: Meh.

Absolutely LOVE this game! I grew up on the Choose Your Own Adventures books and this is so much like it, but longer and more novel-like, which I was highly impressed with. Kept me interested the whole way through and still trying to figure out how they could map out such a complex story and not lose their minds while allowing for so many different possibilities! Well done over there! Excited to finish the second and third story, but the Sun disappearing story is my favorite for sure. Go, Moti!

The game is good, the ambience is okay, the writing is great, and the choices, like the title says, do matter (at least i feel like they do). There is this little thing though regarding the tickets. Sometimes, I would claim/be awarded some tickets but they seem to not be registered within the game. For example, the game rewarded me 6 tickets for progressing in the story however the ticket count remains to be 0 and still cannot make a choice. Hoping the devs would address this issue.

I totally love this game. I've never gone for the shoot-em-ups. This is far more realistic. You make the choices to move the story to it's conclusion. I totally love it and recommend it. Keep the smaller font. My only gripe is that I would like an easier scroll back to just a statement or so and not clear to the last choice.

It's desirable! Every 3 or so pages leaves you a choice, and each choice leads you somewhere different. You can either watch an ad to receive 3 choice tickets, or wait every 2 hours to receive 6. All of these reads are so very interesting! I'm addicted to this game, and they just keep adding to it!

"And the Sun Went Out" was amazing and definitely had me emotional at the end. I paid the .99 cents for the story pass and to be honest I would've paid more even. Great work to the developers! However... "And There Heroes We're Lost" was really cool and at first I was impressed because I knew it would be difficult to follow up and the sun went out but it did pretty well. My biggest issue is that even after all that happens in the third title, the story just seems to sizzle out for no reason.

The story "and the sun went out" really touched my heart. I really loved the game. I don't know if I will be able to play another story with different characters. I just finished it and I already miss it. I felt really attached to the characters. Choices really do matter in this game. There's so much branching and I love it. The story is very intriguing and the story's details are thought out well. Recommend 10/10. Thank you creators for this experience. Genuinely.

After escaping from the south pole camp, soldier of fortune is again in camp amnesia, this time I have chosen the other options but same things are happening. ... Choices doesn’t matter that much. For 3 choice tickets, you need to watch 30 seconds advertising. Damn boring. And plentiful of unnecessary choices are there which doesn’t make sense. Anyway, good pastime though, best of luck.

This review is for the sun went out story only.. Great story and game. I do wish I am given more choices at times and that there was more storyline especially at the end (as I've played it through 2x now). It needs some work though. Alot of times the selection i choose is not what happens and sometimes it even played both choices out (resulting in a person dieing 2x). After playing through the second time it became more apparent how often it doesn't play the right decision I made.

Hello and thank you for making this fantastic and exciting game. The story is awesome and the transitions are smooth, the spelling is perfect and the grammar is too. One issue: If you tap too rapidly on the ending line from a set, and get to the next set of 4 paragraphs, the "up" arrow doesn't get you back to the previous set, but to the last choice. Thank you for making this awesome adventure.

I'm really enjoying the story The Sun Went Out so far. You can choose when to see the ads (or choose to buy tickets or a pass, which I haven't done), so don't have to put up with annoying banners popping up all the time. Also the ratio of time spent on ads seems pretty low. I love choose your own path style books, but this is the first time I've tried it on an app. Will definitely do it again.

it's amazing, beyond words. I've fallen in love with the characters and have played the stories over and over again to see the different options and endings, i didn't expect it to be so... GOOD. Despite already playing it once, it still felt fresh and new every time (especially since I was picking different options) it was amazing, i love it. I don't mind the limitation on the story tickets or watching the ads, it's WORTH IT. I love this concept, and i really hope that there will be more!

Honestly one of the best mobie games I've been able to play in a while! I was afraid that the stories would be lacking in character, or be too bland, but they are truly interesting! I've never wanted to put it down once I've played it- and even when stepping away from it for a while, I was able to pick it right back up and be just as intruged! Most mobile games are flooded with ads, but this game makes it easy to make choices, and I even binged some ads I enjoyed the stories so much!

Otherwise engaging storylines are jarred by an expectation to pay to continue choosing your adventure, or watch ads. Each choice in the storyline requires a "ticket." Watching a video ad buys 3 tickets. So, this is pay-to-read with lots of ads unless you shell out $5.99 for a story. Or, 100 tickets for .99, but they go fast. I'm immersed in a story, so the app sucked me in; but it's poor literature. Still, it's a lot of fun to explore the mystery with the illusion of choice, tolerating the app.

I rarely rate games but this one kept me immersed into the story for a whole night. It's like you're inside of a story yourself..best part? You get to choose whatever you want to do! A few options, but every little one changes the outcome. Very fun to play, asides from all the ads you must watch to get tickets. But that's not a problem for me. Great job!

This app is probably my absolute favorite game app that I have ever come across. The stories are developed, intriguing, and cater to one's imagination in a way that not only lets you grow attached to the plot but also makes you feel like you're actually there in the scene. Definitely an app to download if you're looking for a long-term immersive story with all types of twists and turns. I'm really hoping there are more stories/plotlines in the future!

These books are what I always wanted choose-your-own-adventure books to be! Instead of a few inconsequential choices that really don't affect the outcome of the story, these choices give you vastly different story arcs! I can't even begin to imagine the work put into these... The stories are creative and fascinating, and are great to go through multiple times. Great stuff!!! 💙

Possibly the best game of this style of these games. Played through all three currently available stories and really enjoyed "And the sun went out". Very intricate story and amazing writing and characters. "And their souls were eaten" was also good, with an amazing story. "And their heroes were lost" is definitely not the best. The concept is interesting, but the plot changes suddenly and without explanation, and the ending was very abrupt and obscure, at least for me.

I immediately found myself lost in the stories this game has to offer. It's a really good interactive experience with each decision feeling like it impacts the game in a meaningful way. My only complaint is the amount of ads I had to watch to progress at a faster rate through the stories. I love that the ads didn't really disturb the gameplay though and I'd highly recommend this for anyone looking for a choose your own adventure type thing.

I just finished "And their heroes were gone". The story started of very strong but it quickly faded into obscurity. What bothered me most about this game is that it had no way of telling how far the story has progressed (like some progress bar in the menu or something), so I was left in the dark about that. Would have been of much help to estimate the time. Since I haven't found any information about it yet: It has 9 arcs with around 30-60 choice (rough estimation). Took me 6h (with ads)

Great app and story! I finished reading "And The Sun Went Out" and I absolutely loved it! Wish I could go back and read certain parts because by the time I came back to the app, I'd forgotten a lot of the events that had happened. However, the story was always extremely interesting! It was also nice to see how many people chose to make the same decisions I did. The story and controls were great. Didn't need to watch too many ads to keep reading! Keep up the good work, devs and authors!

I have to say that this game is entirely free, the whole system seems more than fair. The execution is exceptional. I loved the first story, it was simply amazing. The plot was awesome and the whole story was long. I couldn't really get myself immersed in the second book. I had a lot of trouble detecting the century the adventure was taking place in. I think the start was way too fast to get accustomed to it. The third book isn't bad, but it's the kind of cliché stuff where everything is either white or black. I really expect a turnaround at 2/3 of the story, didn't get there, yet.

I've competed the sun went out, which was a great, original story. There were some plot holes with the path I took, but they weren't horrible. I do feel the free intro credits are too short to give a good litmus of whether the story has a good hook and recommend the first arc should be completely free. You have so many decision points (a good thing), that the 3 daily and watch video credits get you almost nowhere. I ended up buying the game outright, after initially buying an extra 100 credits.

So far I've only played And Their Souls Were Eaten, but the stories and the format used in their game are amazing! The ads are non-intrusive and you don't have to watch them too often as choices you make are spread out, which is something I was kind of worried about. I've not found any bugs (though I can't say I've been looking), and the game itself is addicting. Like I said, amazing game, I would definitely reccomend it to anyone who enjoys in-depth text-adventure style choices games.

The stories are pretty interesting. I'm curious about the replay value. The writing varies. It sometimes feels as though some arcs are written by different writers and that can make it seem uncohesive. Also, I'm not sure they seem to finish? Overall I've spent a lot of hours playing through a story and keep coming back to it, so it is pretty enjoyable. Update: I'm still playing occasionally. I still think it's interesting and enjoyable, but story cohehesion leaves something to be desired.
