chomp Emoji - Android Style
This is an add-on to the chomp SMS application that utilizes the latest Android styled emojis.
Provides all the (Unicode 8) latest 1600+ emojis including diversity (skin tone) for all Android phones.
You access the Android emoji using the + icon to the left of the message field in the conversation. Long hold on a 'human skin emoji' (for example a hand gesture) to see diversity (skin tone color) options.
IMPORTANT: These Android emoji are ONLY available in chomp and not system wide (e.g. keyboard app). Only a firmware upgrade can give you full system wide Android emojis. So for now chomp is the only way to get 1600+ emoji with diversity.

The app works fine but not a fan of these dumb "Android N emojis" its hard to tell which emotion your conveying and remember, this is NOT how they necrssarily will appear to the recipient of your emojis..... EDIT:. Uninstalling this app does NOT remove the emoji set. Annoying. Changed rating from 3 to 1. ✳Chomp itself is 5/5. EDIT: months later, i still hate these stupid emoji and I want to the ones back but I can't...
Very nice. I have been using this app for years. I find it much better then the stock messaging app that comes with most phones.
Ist bad, when i instaled it i cant open it, it shows only option "uninstal" it doesnt show "open" it isnt ony my phone screen i CANT OPEN IT!!

Great, simple app. If you can add grouping unknown senders under one folder you'll make this app the best!
Ads are designed to pop up exactly when you are about to click on a message & trick you into clicking on the ad and opening the website.
I'd like to see the blob style when choosing emoji, not only in the sent messages...

Really like this add on. Easy to use and the the customisable looks. I love that is your screen turns off and app is still open you can get a test alert. Unlike the android default program..

It clear states this is a ADD-ON for Chomp, it's not a actual app. If you uninstall Chomp then this app is pointless.
The stuff just gives u the choice to unistall it..hate it
Haven't used ChompSMS in years because my Republic Wireless phone didn't support it. Now, it does, so I'm trying it again. I liked that it was so configurable and I could theme it like I wanted. I hope I like it as much the second time around.
Nice add on, but I don't really see that many more emojis than what I had to start with. And there is no flag of Scotland. What the hell, do you think Scotland does not exist. PHtttttttt !
Thank to these apps of chomps I was able to bring back my emojis in the new old phone I. Got in sms there weren't any emojis and these app help me a lot thanks..
Version now is not ok for me. Because date and time in every sending message or receiving message is missing. Those are important to me. I hope you you will back it please. Nothing else than this problem. Thankyou.
Just had it for few days.. lets see how it goes. So far im liking it. Easy to use.
Really great tool only problem is that I can't get or send pics.
I'm a big fan of Chomp simplicity and restraint. Easy on resources too ... I guess I should visit the settings again because I'm having notification issues: Outgoing messages show queuing graphic even though they've been delivered and incoming messages alert only intermittently with no graphic. Delighted with configurability and Accessibility options
