App works great for viewing .txt CYOP stories and the ease of which users can create their own books is really fantastic. The language and coding for such content is both simple and works seamlessly with the app. The only problem is that pointed out by other users; there is an obvious lack of content included in the initial download, and no ability in the app to upload/search/browse user created content. This aspect could really add value to the app and ensure that user stay loyal to it. Otherwise, great

This app is one of the best cyoa game apps I have seen but it has no way to make the stories from the app. It's great to have if you want to make a role playing game campaign, but needs a story map to help flesh things out. Can't wait for an update.

I was looking for an app to help my daughter with creative writing. With a bit of reminders about html tags, this is so easy to put together a simple choose your own adventure type story. Haven't tried sharing with friends, but will definitely try. It would be great if you could have pictures but for a free app, this is very cool.

I've been toying with the idea of writing a CYOA for some time. This app makes it very easy to get my ideas onto the page (so to speak) and see immediately what works and what doesn't, all while providing an aesthetically pleasing system that is very easy to use, even for a novice programmer like myself. As far as I'm concerned, this is exactly what I was looking for. Kudos to Leeeeena and Hostile.

IT USED TO WORK!!! Now, it just freezes after making a decision. I would have to exit the game and then get back in just to make another decision. This is so disappointing. I used to love this app and rage about making stories using this app because it was so simple and easy, but now I can't even go past the frustration of it not going past one page of the story. 😢 Please work on this app! It had potential!

I know it takes alot of work to make these stories nut you already have a story making feature... How about adding a top ten list or somthing. Then we could see other stories without manually sharing them.

What little I got to read was nice. But it wouldn't let me continue to the next page starting from really early on. I closed out and opened it again and it went to the next page, but then did the same thing. Then when I closed and opened it again, it started showing the pages for choices I didn't choose. Hope that gets fixed. Wonderful potential.

Total crap when it comes to doing a story of your own. HEY MORONS WE USE TABLETS NOT A PC SO MAKE IT SIMPLER. TOTAL CRAP EXCEPT FOR THE INCLUDED STORIES

It should have more storys thow. Like 5 or something. Can you make a stats thing to? And can we look at other peoples storys to please? Im make a story and love how simple it is. And please finish the Reddit adventure. I love the mystery of trying to figure out whats going on. AND can you make a story whear people can make more pages so it gets bigger and bigger kind of like the story project app .

So annoying, it goes to the 2nd page on some stories, but fails to go back to main after or continue, when pressing the buttons. This applies also the main stories it comes with. Developers... you are the only ones offering this app, and there is massive demmand for it. You could charge a lot, and people would pay for such a simple app. It needs image use also, and peferably a user interface would be nice too. Im dissapointed becausr it sounded too good to be true, and it was. The stories just get stuck.

But what do I edit it from? Colornote is the only thing that works, but I don't think it's registering the file as being changed. Please help, a I would love to write a story for this app! Your app has great potential, and I am looking forward to being able to create stories inside the app. Thank you very much!

I don't know why, but whenever I play a story (my own or someone else's) only the first decision's buttons work. On the next decision the buttons do nothing. Apart from that, a good tool for creating text adventures. Sad to report, but I will be uninstalling it soon because of the aforementioned bug.

But I feel there's no point to what I'm doing no purpose to what I'm trying to achieve I love the stories I do but I need a means to an end an actual true path I'm suppose to take loved the naiads just need more

This app has so much untapped potential, for one it needs a new update (hasn't had one in almost three years) that includes brand-new stories since the old ones are out-of-date and have become somewhat boring. I'm looking forward to seeing that update, then this app will receive five stars like it should.

I wrote a story about you being trapped in a dungeon. In an attempt to escape you constantly run into shrek who ends up murdering and defiling you. (Very very VERY detailed writing)

I personally despise a choose your own story that basically forces one storyline. The pages are well written but you firedie in 5 choices? :\ And often.... More branches on those limbs please. This type of entertainment is based on story AND CHOICES. .P.S I have paid for part 2 on these, part 1 needs to captivate though ;))

The app is small, simple, and easy to use. The only problem is the lack of either more stories or a public database of stories uploaded by users. As is, there are only two stories packaged in the app, and you can only share written stories with people you already know. Too limited.

Unfortunately it seems to have been abandoned. There's great potential here with the app giving you the chance to create your own stories and share them with the world via this neat little software. The stories currently included are at best forgettable, and worse, incomplete. If anything, it makes you believe you can do way better. But alas, the project seems to have been left to die back in 2011. In any case, congrats for the idea, authors.

So much potential for cyoa creator. Sad there wasn't more work done on this app. Haven't seen anything as user-friendly since.

I can't get past the first few pages u made for me and whenever I press a certain button the whole thing just stops

I went to one of the pre maid stories and it didn't let me pick any of the choices that is stupid don't download the pice of poo

Can't even make my own book which is no fair because everytime i press not book it just give me an answer or it tells me how to do it like I already went on your website so I don't really need to get a tutorial that is so unfair so when you fix it I will give you 5 star rating otherwise it is great thanks for listening please respond

Looked like the stories would have been pretty cool but after making two choices the buttons stopped working no matter what I tried.

I used to do this sort of thing on DOS. It was much better on dos. Games like ZORK. but good planning and design

1 story done, able to finish said story in under ten minutes. I expected more.

You gotta get this just give a chance you'll love it if ur all about games like this one

I give this a 4/5 because it is simple and easy to use... But thats just it. There isnt much else added currently beyond creating afew text pages that lead to others. If at all possible, if a "Stats" Page, or a "Rng/Random Number generater" Were implimented, i would no doubt give a hands down 5/5.

I can't even make my own text based game, instead all I can do is look at instructions and tips

The choices are great, the story really is investing and I love how you can create your own stories.
