Chope Restaurant Reservations

There are so many modes of payment but your app only uses Paylah which is one of the more inconvenient payment mode (why not Paynow?? They take payment from different banks). Paid for the voucher but it wasn't reflected immediately in the app, had to dble check my email. App has good intentions but seriously you have to offer more modes of payment, it's so frustrating and annoying to use.

Easy to use, one place to remember dining reservations and easy to send details to inform friends. However, limited time slots for certain restaurants. Have not used Chope-Dollars, can improve the redemption selection.

The best UI I have seen so far for an app in this genre. I use it regularly and thr rewards are so cool.

I can't make reservations on the app. It always shows the wrong info and says there is no slot available, when in actual fact there are available slots, or that I have another reservation when I don't. When I book through a desktop, I can get the reservation done. However, because I make the reservations on a desktop, I lose out on the points. Frustrating. Inconvenient.

Easy to use and have a good deals make a reservation.

This app is great for booking. However, we are not sure if it is good with the promotions it advertised. The restaurant which we dine at had no idea what the promo was about and as much as they would like to honor it, chope did not make it possible for that to happen - there was no voucher, instructions or whatsoever to use the promo. So the staff at the restaurant had to work around it and give us the same promotion value. Many thanks to the restaurant staff though.

Bought vouchers online. Received email confirmation. Forces me to download this stupid app, fine. Log into app with the email that the voucher was sent to, unable to redeem because verification email not going through. Thanks 85 bucks unable to be used.

Teribble integration with PayLah with no confirmation of payment and Deal item remaining in shopping basket, resulting in double purchase & payment. Does not care if you have opted out of unsolicited marketing notifications, app just keeps on spamming you.

Very disappointed with the booking experience. Book a date -> Made a reservation -> went down and was told that it was full. Time to delete app.

Great apps. User friendly and lots of good discount! Should have Chope review on Chope apps itself for the place we dine. A simple 1 to 5 stars will be good. Tripadvisor is a little complicated and always ask me to log in which I couldn't be bothered.

Saw a deal that actually allows one to save a grand total of $2...shambolic,all that hassle to save pennies? No thanks. And their rewards program is really limited.

I disabled the push notification yet keep receiving their promotions. Other than that, this app is useful to make booking and sometimes have great deals.

Please stop with the automatic calls to confirm a booking. I had 4 calls just to inform me of one booking today. If I've already gotten a confirmation email, the calls are just annoying

Fraud. Purchased a voucher and my order was immediately canceled and the voucher was gone because I used a promo code to get another discount. Use this app at your own risk.

No rewards. No communication. The app used to work flawlessly, but as of the latest update, rewards are nowhere to be found. You cannot access them via the website either. Emails/messages through the app go unanswered. Not worth the storage space taken up on my phone.

I had an issue with redeeming the purchased vouchers where the restaurant didn't aware of the partnership and didn't update the menu and reservation time on Chope. I contacted support by email and they helped me right away, I'm really blown away by their profesional service and dedication to customers. Problems solved and I'm a happy customer (they even gave me additional vouchers as a token of appreciation) thanks so much guys! All the best :)

A suggestion: When browsing restaurants in the directory, I have to manually filter through all restaurants to see if they have available reservation slots. This makes it tedious, plus it wastes users time. Last available slots for restaurants, would be lost to others in the time that it takes to manually scour the huge list. I suggest that an option in the filter bar be made to filter out restaurants with a full house so that users will not have to waste time manually searching.

Becareful when you purchase the dining coupon from them. Always read and understand the terms and condition first before you proceed. They have this term "management has the right to amend the terms and conditions as necessary". If you are required to pay extra at the restaurant using the coupon due to certain changes or unclear condition, they will use this term against you. Check for credit card promo and book directly with the restaurant.

Frustrating, not worth the seemingly generous vouchers. Even if you go on the special days to buy the big discount vouchers, you apparently can only use it when you're using a Chope reservation, and in my experience, you have to reserve your seats days in advance, sometimes weeks. To have to check which days are available before buying those vouchers, which tend to have limited availability, is a huge inconvenience. Not everyone is that flexible, especially for groups of friends and family.

Used to be good until suddenly they decided to not allow combining my unused vouchers. Many of the stores which i can match to use previously has been unlisted. It is difficult to find a right match for use with my residue unused vouchers. I am appealing for them to be flexible in this aspect. Otherwise will surely not use their app as much as before..

The booking of the restaurant was easy and love it. But what I don't like is feeling abit cheated when I first try to buy the vouchers. Seems like a good deal on saving by buying the voucher. End up paying more for AlaCarte at Savuers restaurant when informed by the restaurant that cannot be used for set meals and promo. It was not stated clearly in fine prints. Just don't feel good on this. Else will give a 5 stars.

The interface of this app (and the website) is abysmal. You can't even search for deals near you on a map, because you can only filter by (arbitrarily defined) neighborhoods and cuisines. What's worse is how it's extremely difficult to find out what you can redeem your chopedollars for because you can only find possible redemption deals under your profile through an even more limited and glitchy filter system. Chope could be so much more popular if they fixed their jumbled navigation system.

It's been a good app and useful app for dining recommendations, reservations and chope cash vouchers. Unfortunately I have bad experiences with the cash voucher purchase and redemptions. The app only triggers "make payment" for the cash vouchers & you would mistakenly tap multiple times. That caused me to be charged 3 times for 2 x $100 cash vouchers. Appreciate if the team can look into my request for refund and updating the app user journey or experience for the cash voucher redemption process

Purchased vouchers for a restaurant only to have them remove the restaurant from their app. When down to restaurant and couldn't use without reservation. Voucher states that reservation via the Chope app is required, but restaurant isn't even showing up on the app. Emailed customer service before voucher expiry and now voucher has expired, no response from customer service. Basically scammed me of my money for the voucher.

The app has became very terrible... the menu doesn't display when clicked on it for most of the restaurants! When you state 3 course or 4 course meal, please include what is on the menu. There is no menu for the multi courses! Has Chope gone from good to worst due to COVID19??

Flash sales which you can never get as it is sold out each time when the clock just strikes for the sale to start. Sometimes I wonder if the flash sales is just click baits. It is going to lose any customer loyalty if it can't deliver on it's marketing plans. That leaves the primary usage which is mainly to make reservations once in long while.

great app to make reservations that are instantly confirmed. never have to call the restaurant. we can also add in our special notes for special requests without having to call or email the restaurant. They have monthly great discount deals too and not to forget to mention their loyalty programme is awesome! I can redeem my points for discount vouchers at restaurants and even other rewards!! love love love!

Been a loyal user for years. The rewards are just too good to be missed, and the app has a vast redemption options. My favorite is the 100K dining voucher and the AirAsia miles. Apart from that, reserving at a restaurant has never been this convenient and easy. Looking forward to find more interesting deals and fancy restaurants!
