Chord Analyser

In honesty, I never expected much from this. Thought it'd be like all the other music apps that provides very little content, and shoves advertisements in your face. However, installing an app of top quality for free is something that can't be missed. As the majority of the content is free, in-app purchasing can be ignored. Although I highly recommend it to get the very best use of this. There is one thing on my mind: I wish there was a zoom in option to prevent pressing the wrong notes.

Great app. I've been looking for a long time for an app that let's me enter the notes (staff or keyboard) and then play that chord. I couldn't find any. Any app that played chords only played pre-defined chords. When I'm reading music theory books that show chords, I wanted an app that let me enter the notes and play the cord so I wouldn't have to go to my keyboard to play it. This helps a lot. One improvement would be if it allowed multiple chords to be entered, the played back so that progressions could be analyzed. It would help a lot when reading music theory.

Fantastically useful app to identify chords. Lost one star because the Play button to sound the chord is buggy and sometimes refuses to work, and the only solution seems to be to Force Stop the app and then reopen it. Might have something to do with my Moto X phone whose Android version is 5.1 and can't be upgraded. Would also be nice to be able to save favorite chord configurations.

Simple and succinct. Perfect app without needing to shill out cash, but support the developer if you can. Update: Used it for a few days I still find this app very good. I didn't mind features such as open tuning and simultaneous guitar and piano viewing being locked although I would be buying this app for those features in the near future. My request is to fix the scrolling widget taking ages to scroll, please make it faster and smoother. I'm ok with filtering chords being a pro feature.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I love this app. It has done me wonders. It's such a handy tool. *BUT* is there anything that can be done about the crashing? If I switch screens and go to a different app (say Google) & then switch back to the chord analyzer, the volume no longer works. I had an LG G6 & now I have a Galaxy S10. I have a very fast internet connection. If there was any way to fix this glitch I would give it a 5-star rating. I tolerate it because it's so incredibly useful.

Awesome chord namer for piano and guitar. Just press the keys (or pick the tabs) and this app will show you the notes (both in bass and treble if the chord is extended over more than one octave ) and name it for you. After testing 4 apps which only show you how to play a certain chord. This one does the job. It can't be more convenient for composers and players.

Only just downloaded and has already really helped me by identifying some obscure chords . Swapping between piano and guitar made so easy - I can instantly find out what a random guitar chord is named plus also how it is played on the piano and vice versa. Really helpful for songwriting with two instruments. Recommend! Really easy to use.

Decided to upgrade to Pro version and here is my Full Review. --- What I love the most: AWESOME!! 1. Simple to use and effective (NO BULLSH*T) 2. Includes music sheet 3. Custom tuning --- What I want to have (suggestions for future updates): 1. Smoother and larger UI (Pls, focus on the instruments) 2. Includes sounds on each note in the Chords!!😎 3. Emphasis on the colors highlighted on each note!!❤️ --- Great app and gets updated often, Devs been working hard😁. Easy 5 stars!!

After using the free version for several weeks I upgraded to the Full Version (because it's only fair). I like the app very much, however I struggled to figure out some of the apps capabilities, like changing to a different tuning (like DADGAD) A User Guide would be helpful. [Edited to 5 stars after figuring out some tricky features]

I am trying to use this app to transcribe piano sheet music to chord names to play on guitar by entering notes on piano keyboard. After 2 or 3 chords have been named, the notes stop registering on the grand staff and I have to close-restart to get it to work again. I can't select sharps flats for the key the music is in. Won't display in portrait. It works, sorta.

Bought the full version. In spite of promising piano interface it won't highight played chord of connected MIDI controller. Physical keys don't make sound. I don't like clef notation is not clear. It won't make CASIO synth with chord finder out of phone/tablet.

Perfect, just what I was after for beginner level without frustrating "pay wall" limitations like other apps for basic features. The others have now lost me for when I am ready for more advanced features.

25 years on the guitar and new to piano, which makes your app so valuable. The combo guitar neck and piano keys is such a great idea. Got to the full version and worth every penny. Please keep updating so it will continue to work with future Android versions.

I highly recommend it! Its easy to use, provides straight answers, it's like a complete chord encyclopedia. Huge thanks to the developer!

seems to work well as far as ive seen. sometimes it's read minor 7 chords as 6 chords three semitones up so theres probably more that are a little glitchy, just make sure the reading sounds right

Terrible app. Sounds stops working after a while and you have to restart the app. Super annoying

Great app. Genuinely. I'll give it 5 stars if the Devs can explain to me why their definition of an augmented maj 7 chord is wrong. A Db+∆ chord is: Db, F, A, C [Also an Fmb6]. Entering these notes gives you an "No chord" output. When I ask the app to tell me what an aug maj 7 chord is, it gives: Db, F, G, C... Which is beyond incorrect 😅

Chord analyzer - does not recognize anything, all in paid version. But you find that out only after installation. Dishonesty i do not like or support.

when learning several new piano chords, the sound keeps disappearing: i need to be able to hear the chord as well as see it.

It's pretty good it has no ads has alot of instruments the only thing have to really say about this app is that is needs some wind instruments that have chords because some wind instruments have chords there is no app that has wind instrument chords So what I mean dev is like harmonica and accordian and saxophone 🎷 and please edit your response two

Please, is it possible to flip the guitar fretboard for a left handed user, it will nice to make this improvement, and please kindly let me know, thank you very much

I loved this app very helpful for the band, but not for some reason, I cannot take screenshots anymore. If this is new very disappointing

Bad. Installed it & was trying to learn how to use it. Nearly every button leads to buy now and won't let you out not buying something without trying it first

App won't open again. Guys, please work on the bug; it keeps crashing.

Good to learn chords but I thought it would record chords through the microphone and identify them.

Handy Usefull tools for musicians. Highly recommended.
