Excellent app. Very convenient on stage. Suggested improvement: different background colours for verses, chorus, solos etc...quicker overview of the song structure.
It lasted 5 minutes on my tablet. Compared Chordpro it's not very user friendly.
Works well with Dropbox but can't search Chordie or others
Using it since 3 years now. No complains.
this is really disappointing. i wrote these guys for several time to give a option to change the background color but none of them are responded. really frustrated...
Tried several apps to digitise music for church - with no joy. This works fine on my old Samsung Note 10 - the customisation and autoscroll are great, and it responds well to the odd swipe mid playing if you get out of sync. Had dropbox problems until I deleted the free version - all OK now. There's a bit of a learning curve and the documentation is a bit on the light side - like how to copy and select text in the editor. I bought it so it must be OK.
The app now crashes all the time when I scroll through my song list.
Come on you guys we love this app, you've got to respond and fix the problems. I'm batteling to open my setlists, that means I / we all the guys in my group that uses this app can not use Chordbase to worship in my church, ??? Please respond!!!!!
This app is very good! It does what it says! But please can you make it possible to convert the songs in PDF?
There's no support from this app. My email kept bouncing back to me. No help or anything. I want my money back.
ilove it
This is good primarily for viewing song files you create and setting up set lists for live performance. It has some definite limitations that I hope will only improve. You can only access and add files through the integrated browser through email or Dropbox. You cannot add files to any music folder or open files you already have on your device.
Does everything I want in a simple, intuitive way. However... Since upgrading from Chordbase Lite, Dropbox export fails and when I used the feedback/queries option, the email address didn't exist. Hopefully the app designers will see this review!
After looking and being disappointed by the absence of OnSong...then came along Chordbase! Although it doesn't quite have all the same bells and whistles, it has EXACTLY what I need! 5 Stars easily! - Adding the ability to use the web browser to edit songs syncing to the device would be an awesome feature. ((wink)) I'll keep an eye out for updates.
Excellent app so far. The only thing I would ask is that they implement the Chordpro standard where the chorus is displayed with a vertical line to the left to make it stand out
This is awesome. Now port it to Windows so I can print my charts!
All the right features. Easy to learn and use.
Awsome app. Most interesting feature is the transpose feature, changing from Nashville no. system to any key and vice versa. A must have for a gigging musician.
I have always struggled with finding good android apps that display proper nashville numbering along with chropro syntex. This app does it well and has an auto convert function for imported text based chords. Any minor dinks in the conversion due to improper text arrangements are easily fixed by the handy and intuitive chropro editor. The import export to dropbox function works like a charm and you can create nice setlists imported from your dropbox. At this pricepoint, I would consider this app a steal!
Seems like a cool app but fails every time I try to import from Dropbox. I hit refund and will maybe give the free version another shot. Android 4.2.2
Brilliant app and very easy to use. Similar to onsong on ipad but lacks the ability to change text colours which would be very useful. Friends who have ipads can do tjis with onsong.
