This is THE most comprehensive ear training app I've tried. Unlike many others it is very easy to use and understand. One thing I think would help a lot is a reverb adjustment setting, currently the reverb coming out of my phone speaker really muddies up some of these exercises, especially interval recognition where the notes are being played at the same time. So much so that I'm tempted to use a different app for that particular exercise. Having something between Starter and Intermediate would b
the piano sound had too much reverb. octaves and unisons sounded too similar compared to other apps. the overtone content in the piano sound is why. The feedback screen after ear training says "you failed, 33 mistakes" which doesnt help anyone. It should at least say a percentage. would be great if it had a report that showed percentages for each interval type/chord type so the student would know what to work on. this app could be good if those things are fixed.
Great experience with the app until the chord progression main game stopped working (the best part!). It's clean and relatively easy to use, although a basic understanding of music theory and harmony is useful if you want to jump right into the games. One of the best overall ear training apps out there.
I like this app, it's useful for developing my musical ear. The only real problem I have with it is that it often doesn't log that I have completed successfully or even failing an exercise. This doesn't happen all the time but it's annoying enough when it does that I'm leaving a review.
I'm uninstalling this app. I've not even used it yet. so why am i uninstalling it? Because it's suddenly putting full-screen "reminders" and a time limit to upgrade to the pro or premium version. That's just annoying enough to convince me to uninstall, which I'll be doing after adding this review... This app is VERY suspicious because I didn't run it. I wonder what else its doing? Stealing my contacts or personal information?
Best app I've seen for training to identify chords by ear. Very valuable for music students but might be a bit too steeply priced for others. As someone with absolute pitch, though, I wish the listening exercises were on more than the key of C. It would also give people practice identifying the tonic.
I've struggled for a while to do harmonic analyses by ear. This app is helping me get better pretty quickly. It really helps that the training material is in the context of real music.
Its is such a helpful tool. But remember ear training is an evolution, not a revolution. You will have to stick with it, be consistent and be patient!! Great app!!! Thanks.
great app for learning chords. It's very much tailored to piano players though. It would be even better if it were possible to play strummed and picked chords on a guitar.
Like my dude I haven't even used this app yet but I want to give it 5 stars just because the dev is a legend. If you look at reviews with technical problems, you will see that he has replied to pretty much all of them in a greatly helpful and respectful manner. Absolute unit of a man. If you're reading this, keep up the excellent work.
Ads ads ads. Played C/Cm recognition game and short sequence of listening to chord and pressing the guessed chord button made me watch two or three ads. Essentially ad after each button press. Makes it unusable.
Overall excellent app, very good for ear training as well as sight reading. Intuitive, pleasant and easy to use.
This app is great. The only criticism I have is that there is too big of a gap in difficulty between the starter packs and the intermediate levels.

the app keeps crashing when trying to open "chord progression" from "main game" on my pixel 2 :(

The app just crashes everytime. Paid for the full version. Very disappointed
The app would be a fantastic ear training tool if it only was more stable and reliable. It keeps crushing every time i click on chord progressions from main game (i'm on Pixel 3). as this should be the most important feature of the app, I'm quite disappointed. it would be great if this issue could be fixed, but i have seen a few similar complaints in the past months and no sign of a solution.
