very easy to use, modern hybrid paraphrase/translation of the Holy scriptures. excellent value for a reference copy. comes in handy, and easy to navigate.
This is a really lovely app! My only complaint is that the cross referencing which I find so helpful in my physical ultrathin CSB isn't available in the app. I know it is in the CSB study app but is there any chance of making it a selectable option in the regular CSB Bible app? Would be great to get the same reading experience in real life and on the app if possible! (without all the extra study stuff from the study app that I don't have in real life).
Was four stars but the Bible reading plan failed when I got to Philemon and Song of Songs - wouldn't mark them as read. Also there's no way to restart the plan from scratch - it's showing the ticks from this year and I can't erase them.
Really good app, you don't need an internet connection to read. I was overseas without phone service, and I was able to read whatever my heart desired.
Nice app and great translation. However I am disappointed that there is no way to turn off the red text in the Gospels.
Not sure why we're forced to read text in different colour especially in the gospels. As though Jesus's words are more important than the other words around? Haha... Isn't all scripture God's very word spoken to us? Could we have a setting to disable that please
I used this app for quite a while and loved it, until my 3 year old deleted it. Since I downloaded it again, it won't open. Any ideas?
I was looking for a simple app to read the CSB. This no frills app is perfect for that. My favourite translation at the moment.
App no longer works. Very sad. Please fix. Please let me know when you fix this so that I can reinstall it. Pastor Wayne Allen
It won't open. Says it has a bug, and needs the developer to do an update.
I just enjoy the clear text and the study plans are great. My goto Bible for enjoying the Word

The CSB is in my opinion perhaps the best English translation of the Bible. It's clear and steers away from being over interpretative. But please make the end notes into pop-ups instead of directing them to the bottom of the page. It's annoying to have to keep scrolling up and down otherwise.
Personally I own a csb and it is my favorite go to Bible however, the application lacks a few features. It doesn't let you highlight, and it does not let you really start a plan. While it does present a three-year plan and a one-year plan it's not or does not seem like something that has a reminder and helps you continue to grow in Scripture. I like the fact that you can share the verse but still it leaves a lot to be desired. It works well and looks good but again, leaves a lot to be desired.
In dark mode it's hard to read the red letter text in the gospels. The search functionality doesn't work at all (every search gives zero results). The app also doesn't handle the notch at the top of my phone screen very well. I like the CSB, but have given up on this app.
