You can use the Christmas Countdown widget at any time of the year, as it can calculate the remaining days until Christmas day for each distinct year.

This app is not only so adorable with the Santa widget that makes different comments and keeps your countdown, it comes with sing-a-longs of all the classic Christmas songs and a "Goodness" checklist. Such an awesome way to spread Christmas cheer around the house! 5 stars!!
Date doesn't change. I saw other reviews that said the same thing. It's a shame because it's so cute and just the right size.
The only problem I have with this is that it doesn't say how to actually activate the widget, but the quizzes and other content is good.
My countdown is inaccurate for some reason and draining my battery. But it's cute that it has other activities.
It seems like a really good app but I don't seem to have a Santa on my home screen :/
Finally happy with a widget that does a Christmas countdown! Not only that, the trivia and goodness lists is a fantastic idea! Love it

The comments for the widget aren't really appropriate for young children or just kids in general.
It's good, but one problem, it is an hour out and there is no way to adjust it.
Its great there's music quiz but I dnt how to make it count down but besides that its cool
Very cute Santa, the facts are good fun and the trivia game is enjoyable too. The lists are a great idea for encouraging random acts of kindness!

I love this app and have used it for the past two years. I am disappointed because this year the Santa will not show up. I have Uninstaller and reinstalled but he is no where to be found. Everything else works but I really miss the Santa on my home screen... can someone fix please?!?!?!
The widget wont change, it still says the same thing and I got the app in November! Please fix and I will give it 5 stars!!

I liked it until the question was "what country" and the answer was Hawaii. WTH
On Samsung S6+ text is too small and very fuzzy, with no option to resize widget. My search continues for the perfect Christmas countdown widget/app!...update STILL NO UPDATE FOR FUZZY TEXT PROBLEM...Uninstalled

There is one minor problem I have with the app. I have a galaxy s4, which has a 1080p screen, and the text that is in the box is not clear at all. It is very fuzzy to read. If you fix this I'll gladly give you guys 5 stars.
