Chroma Lab

This is an excellent app. It provides me with many choices for graphic art and design. I found it do easy to use and full of choices that I purchased the full version for the extra content and higher resolution effects. It was well worth the cost. In fact I have every paid full version graphic design app this company makes. They are all excellent. Good job app makers!!!

I'm going to say it for all the editing apps made by this developer: They're astonishing and flawless. A huge selection of editing features, even if you don't pay for the premium version. This app is specifically geared towards precise and effective colouring and lighting changes. Absolutely recommend downloading all of the image editing apps by this developer if you can, because they do not disappoint

Totally brilliant, you can alter every setting for amazing results. I've been using this app for a few years now. Along with the others in this grouping, and they're all absolutely incredible. When you swap between them, using different filters from each, the results are world class. Seriously.

This is till my favorite editing app, and always will be. Always will be. It may not have standard "pro" features one might be looking for, but for me, I find that in the end, my best, one-of-a-kind photos comes from using¹ Chroma Lab. I can get filters from any app. Chroma Lab gives me a color pallette. I can get photo effects anywhere from the Play Store. Chroma Lab gives me tools to tweak effects endlessly. Cool app. There's a variety of essential editing elements present which you can use and the end result always turns out interesting. You can't find these features in most apps now, which only provide filters and airbrushing. The effects also blend in naturally with the image. I don't usually review stuff but this app compelled me to. Great effort by the developer, totally recommend it.

I love this app, it has so many different amazing effects even in just the free version and the ads aren't annoying/invasive. My favorite part is where you can change the colors on pictures with a lot of really good options and I like using that effect to inspire my artworks since I love using color. The design of the app also makes it a lot easier to use compared to similar apps and it has many effects that those apps don't have. I would recommend buying the full version for even cooler effects

[UPDATE]: So after trying it extensively (love it!!), 1. Please add curves or gamma control, brightness/contrast is far too limited. 2. There's an annoying bug when you erase parts of an effect, then proceed to add a new effect after that, sometimes all your erasing job is undone and the image reverts to its previous state. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Hands down most incredibly fascinating graphic app I've come across. 5 mins in fiddling with it, decided to buy it, without hesitation.

This is an AMAZING manipulation app! I'm able to take one of my sketches or photographs, upload it and create beautiful abstract art pieces! Hands down one of the best apps for artists to be able to make art out of art that I've come across. I've tried hundreds of apps over the years and this one has multiple features and options, I can create thousands of different images. Maybe I missed it but it would be perfect to be able to resize to higher resolution and save..Id give you a 6/5 stars then

1. Free. 2. Zero learning curve. 3. Fun and a bit addictive. 4. All age appropriate. Grandkids like it too. 5. Possibly a good brain teaser if you use it purposefully. 6. Nice springboard for color pallet ideas to apply on other artwork. 7. I use it on designs created in MirrorLab to discover ideal color combination. 8. Did I mention FREE? I would upgrade to a low cost ad-free version as I have been using it for years and I know it is a keeper.

Easy, fun, flexible, and cheap. If this app was a girl, I'd definitely date it. Seriously, though, it's a superb app. Great results just playing around, and has far more depth than your average "filter" app. To help you understand where I'm coming from, I'm not much on gimmicks--what I want is a good, solid, easy-to-use editor. This delivers that, and more. It's been replacing some other, better-known apps from the big names as my go-to editor. The only glitch is that my phone hung once or twice while I was trying to upgrade to the paid Pro version. The irony! Truth, that's probably a third-party glitch. I <3 this app!

Honestly there isn't a more comprehensive and useful set of Graphic/photo manipulators out there that have the depth and precision that Illixa has created. Short of a few stiff editing options which I'm sure could be updated or modified, the results satisfy.I have actually bought the set twice due to Google's impossible profile consolidation. They are that good. I even was offered by the developer a refund but I decided to pay twice for the pure appreciation of the software. Bravo Francois!

Customize and initiate photo manipulation in real time. Save on the fly and continue editing without missing a beat. Amazing photo editing experience. If this app had ability to create vector objects like Rectangles, Ellipses and Arrows. Also if it could import other images with transparency ...i would rate 7 stars off the chart. Going to go get pro right now.

Super impressed with this app!! If you focus a lot on color manipulation and vibrant effects when it comes to your photos, this is for you. The preset filters are also very smooth and unique. Havent had any bugs or issues so far, and ive noticed that after saving my edited photos from this app, there is no reduction in quality, which many similar apps are notorious for. give this a try if youre feeling experimental!

I Love chroma lab! The pro price is super inexpensive, and worth it. Only one BIG but solvable issue. Between layers, and erasing sometimes it glitches and reverts the changes you've made. THIS CAN be remedied though by screen shotting before you hit the check to save the change, and if it glitches just open screen shot and crop it! Would love to see more updates, and bug fixes. I would love an option to flip the photo or mirror it too. Great job to chroma lab and it's a great price. Highly reccomended!

Amazing experience so far! llixa's Lab series apps are amazing, I have used them for a while now, and they haven't given me any trouble. The best photo editing tools on the play store! The only problem I could find is that there are too many locked features for the free version. I understand you are trying to make money from a pro version, but this many features? I have the free version, but if you have some money to spend go ahead and buy pro. Great app, great series! Keep up the good work.

This is the best, literally, of many, many half assed attempts at a proper chromatic image editing app. It really sets itself apart in functionality and speed. Great work Devs. This app has gained a place in my phone permanently and is used often both for serious tasks and fun! B/W filters and adjustments are top notch and shame other very expensive apps. BRAVO!

brilliant , does more than i could've hoped for . only thing that would make it better would be the ability to erase the effects so that for example you can glitch only one object in the photo rather than the whole photo. huh i do have the pro version perhaps i just missed it . thank you !

Chroma Lab, Glitch Lab, and Mirror Lab are my favourite apps on the play store. I've spent over a hundred hours on each of them, I use them to create effects and backgrounds elements for videos. Even after all the time I've spent on these apps I feel like there is still so much to learn and i'm still figuring out how to create new and unique effects all the time. 10/10.

Filters that you didn't know you needed but you do! Not your typical filters, but such an amazing variety I really cool and extreme to settle shading, exaggerating colors, things that make your pictures pop! This developer is amazing. If you haven't tried this one you have to! While you're at it trying mirror lab in glitch lab too. First things in my Arsenal of tools.

It has a great balancing of legit good free app use, with a reasonable amount of ads, and you are able to use the major effects for free; truly one of the better photo editing apps. Edit: I tested the video making experiment and it puts a fantastic use for the app, though I would appreciate it from the devs to make the app compatible with gifs as well, that would make this app phenomenal.

Great for artistic photo edits. most photo editors stop at filters. Change colors to match any of like 10 color palettes, emphasize any color you choose , shift all colors across the spectrum, selective saturation, then change the color of that selection, change saturation of selected and/or selected, blur, swirl, or make photos cartoonlike, make them made out of dots, infinite alterations. Favorite app ever. Wish I could rate it higher. Great job. And thank you to the developers

This app is freaking AMAZING! I find most image editors fairly useless because they usually have very limited features that aren't behind a pay wall. This gem is an exception! I've literally never seen an editing app with more amazing and abundant features! Almost endless possibilities. Your imagination is the limit. And it's very easy and intuitive to use. Love love love! Love This App. I'm saving up to get the Pro for the increased print resolution output because everyone loves what I've been creating with this app. I keep finding new features and new applications of each tool. So much in one app is just incredibly impressive. I love that these are tools allowing me to create and expand my creativity, not just filters that change my one thing into something else that is not mine.

This is another fantastic tool from this developer - check them all out. Well worth your time and money. I use it as a partner with mirrorlab and the range of creative abilities they provide me with is fantastic. My photography has moved on to a whole new level. Needs a fast processor in Android, but that's to be expected since it does a lot of calculations. Five Stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

I enjoy playing around with the colors schemes, turning my pictures into art with Chroma Lab, and with the distortion tools I can move and rearrange images like clay in a sculpture. I purchased the PRO version and am getting great results as I master the tools and the ways in which to best apply them to my art.

Needs selective/ spot healing tools. And ability to manipulate levels in regards to light & color. Just missing some simplicities, like Rotation, & cropping for instance, in addition to what i stated. Unless i missed them tucked away somewhere? Otherwise, love the palettes- they're one of a kind. And the precision/ control given to distortion effects, and others. etc is elite.

It's a really good app especially for color editing, it makes the whole picture into a different color scheme if you want, which is really cool. I love it because I love to paint with interesting colors and the app lets you change the colors of a picture so I can easily have a photo with new colors to paint from.

fantastic app, simple to use and well organized, incredible images can be created and manipulated quickly and easily with just a few layers. the free version has more than enough features to create almost anything you can imagine, I will be upgrading to full version asap.

This app is great — it lets you do a ton of stuff with your images & developer is always improving it & adding new features. I use Chroma Lab in combination with their other 3 image editing apps (Mirror Lab, 8Bit Photo Lab, Mosaic Art Lab) for more creativity. I wish this app had a TV lines effect. (It might already have that function & I just haven't discovered it yet. I'm still exploring discovering new ways to use it.) More glitch effects would be great. Get the Pro version-it's worth it.

Very easy to use, great effects that are easy to manipulate, and would be a complimentary addition to any other photo apps that you're looking to enhance. I totally look forward to any updates, or possibly any new photo apps that may be produced in the future. Thanks for all your help.
