I just walked around my house for an hour looking at different things and blowing my families mind of how I actually see things being colorblind. It was pretty awesome to let them see what I see and what they see.
An awesome way to illustrate my perspective to my friends. However, there is a weird bug where the shutter noise overrides the phone's volume setting and makes a loud annoying click. Only "do not disturb" silences it. Adding video conversion would be a cool feature addition.
its good but can you fixed about purple in blue and green? (sorry i dont know in very red colour) i am deteur and still can see there is a different colour in red and blue from compared picture (and my friend told its green and purple) idk about green but definitely i cant see the purple properly
Good simulator for dichromatic vision. The opacity setting is a nice touch! Although it's effective in simulating the three main kinds of true color blindness, it can't demonstrate ~anomalia types of color vision.
when you use it with a VR, turn on Clear vision and the one you want to use, then block the left VR eyescope with a white papertowel, then put the VR on while holding your phone onto it at the same time, .. thats how you can fully experience on how a colorblinded person sees the world. Missing: if you could just add total colorblindness , that would be EVEN BETTER
It does exactly what I want. I can now explain what I see in real time. It might not be a perfect tool, but how else can I communicate that 2 completely different colors look similar?(red-green)
Easy as to use and great great getting a prospective of people with a few types of color blindness
Excellent way to show my friends what my color blindness is about. The only issue is that, while in camera mode, it doesn't stay on, which means I need to keep touching the screen to keep it on.
Exactly what i wanted (needed to check if one colorblind technician would notice the difference between cable colors on installation). The real time filters are great.
Works great with the fix. Can save pictures now. Thanks
Its very good but u should add for screen so your screen can look like what what type of other people see like me
Great App! One request though, could you add the colourblindness for dogs? It's similar to Deuteranomaly, but yellow is more pronounced, and greys are less differentiated. It would be great to show people that blue is the best choice for a dog toy while orange / red are poor.
Most accurate colorblind simulator app I've ever seen. I cannot distinguish between the modified and unmodified ones for my type of colorblindness.
Max shutter sound as default and no way to turn off. Not good when in a meeting. Even when all sound is off.
I appreciate the effort of programmer who made this, but he made misleading simulations. Deuteranopia one for example shows that deuteranopes see blue as purple, which is plain wrong. Sorry for the grade, if you one day fix the simulator with the correct code showing only the blue-yellow axis in dichromacy, I'll change my rating accordingly. Peace.
I make apps and wanted to see if they have enough contrast for colorblind people. This app allowed me to filter my screenshots to see if there are any potential problems. Nice!
Would love for a VR mode so my friends could fully immerse themselves in the world that I see. But great app and very informative.
Everything in place, good feature set. Requires a few minutes to understand how to use some of the features, but that's not an issue.
Simple, but does what it says on the tin. used to find toys that will stand out to my dog. small download size and only picture related permissions.
Easy to use and useful+++ Neat to be able to view different types at the same time. Thanks for a great wee app!
Really great app but the shutter sound when taking screenshots is loud and unnecessary and there isn't an option to remove it
My favorite app of all the vision similator apps. Helps me see what my dog sees especially in agility and other everyday situations where color discrimination matters.
It works, but I had to look up the Latin words that it uses because it doesn't use any common English words like "red-green color blindness." And for that matter, I don't think you could see red-green color blindness. Only red color blind, green color blind, and blue color blind separately.
So good app but there is no way to turn down the picture taking sound when you save a image its extremely loud
I have been colorblind my whole life. I have whats called deuteranopia, which is red-green colorblind. I can honestly say this works because the pictures are the same when showing common and deuteranope. This is absolutely amazing! I'm showing all of my friends!!
Brilliant App - Many friends now can see what I see and are amazed. Highly recommended.
I wanted to be able to see things as a color deficiencnt does. This app does that well.
Great for effective data visualization and cartographic maps.
This app is excellent to show people what it is like to be colourblind. People often ask, "what does red look like to you?" It's impossible to answer, but with this app I can simply show them. NOTE: seems that with the recent Android 11 update on my Google Pixel 2 XL, I can no longer save images from this app to my phone. I get "Image File Save Error." I have checked the apps permission and they are all enabled.
