Chrome Canary (Unstable)

It's not bad. I love seeing new things to try. Be mindful of frequent crashes and resets will be expected, especially when your tweaking variou6 settings. But all in all, I'd say it's the chrome with the best features as long as you can put up with the minor downtimes. For myself, when I use Canary, just incase anything goes really haywire, I'll also be signed in and syncing to the Stable Chrome, or the Beta. That way I can feel about more at ease in the potential case of losing any synced data

Sometime crashes and becomes unusable but an update later and it works again and updates every other day atleast, although it's usually every day so don't have to wait long and it's too be expected with a nightly release other than that though it works amazing. The only other bug I've found is if I try to update the webview canary and chrome canary it resets it and I can only update one of them at a time but that's more just a minor inconvenience and probably more to do with the play store

8.17.21 current build changed the download to a popup window instead of a notification bar at the bottom. it is obtrusive af 4.29.22 for more than a month, trying to hold a link or object to bring up context menu freezes the phone. you have to hold for EXACT amount of time for it to work correctly

Chrome along with Safari are my most used app on my Macs. On mobile Android, the browser is secondary to any dedicated app such as YouTube, Facebook, etc. But when its needed Chrome gets the job done and rarely have any issues even with Canary.

Doesn't goto any websites. Previous tabs not loading pages. Just white blank screen. New browser tab just stays at the Google page and keeps refreshing that page instead of going anywhere. URGENT, I'm going to lose my Wordle streak

Great app , but I would like to have an option where by I'm able to download extensions to block ads, they can be annoying. Other than that , thank you guys.

Great app, just that neither the app nor the canary webview will update. Always fails, just those 2 apps. Have to uninstall and reinstall all thr time :/ tried various suggested solutions already.

WoW! Best yet!!! Able to set dark mode. Better settings for user and the best yet works GREAT with termux when used as Localhost tunnel for NGROK or any other software needing a tunnel. Y'all keep it up, I'd LOVE having a desktop version I can use for linux

I'm not an expert android user But wow I do like Chrome canary is Great. For me ,Michael Neary so far this app is googles best ,youtube , chrome canary are number one for me.

Very good browser. It's not unstable. But, unfortunately, there is nothing new in this version. There are no differences. Perhaps only improved security and that's it.

I don't understand why Google does not want people to zoom websites. If I need to zoom in to read text or to see small images, I should be able to do that. There is no rhyme or reason for locking a page and preventing zooming.

Exactly as described. The latest, most cutting edge, and unstable version of chrome.

Not as stable as google search application, but has some new features available. I still use it almost daily.

Sometimes, I can't update the app also webview canary. I like unstable features of canary builds, but this app is not updated, I cannot check for updates of other apps.

No sync. History is empty. Useless. No option yo save all tabs of a group. No new features

Also, this version is not optimized at 120 Hz. And it has lag and stutter when scrolling in websites.This is while I do not see any stutter or lag in ios device and Apple Safari browser and it has a very excellent and smooth performance..Please fiiiiiix this problem...

I like how it produces sharp colors and pictures and it never crashed on me but has to be your phone has to e updated all time to get the latest updates ok

version 103.0.5057.4 is unusable, no internet connection?! Regular Chrome works fine!

Keeps saying it cannot connect to website, even when my other internet apps work fine.

No read aloud feature. Built-in video player does not allow or have VLC Media Player like gesture controls to control brightness and volume. NO READ ALOUD FEATURE. Not able to group tabs outside all groups. Can't move app to SD Card.

Love it, BUT 2 things 1. The horizontal-scrolling page view is horrendous. Can only see 1.5 apps at a time. I loved seeing the titles and just a small bit of every page in the vertical-scrolling page view. 2. Some sites, such as dbrand's and Navient's, show that the traffic is unencrypted (no matter the network that I'm on) and will not allow access to the site (or to particular portions of the site), whereas the current release of Chrome has no issues.

I think this browser is excellent. Absolutely wonderful layout, much prefer it to Chrome. I dont have any issues with it crashing or the screen going black at all. I use it on a Sony Xperia XZ so not even the newest phone and it runs like a dream, a lot smoother than normal chrome. The ONLY thing i have found is that the download icon is a tick whilst the download is still in progress instead of the downwards arrow. But that is the only thing i have found. I dont get the black screen or the scrolling freeze up on me. Video is full in landscape as well on my phone for the guy having that issue. All round think using this is way better, being a month or two ahead of standard Chrome. I appreciate its the beta beta version but getting updates nightly doesnt hurt when they are keeping on top of bugs. Cannot wait to see what comes next from this.

This app is everything that its supposed to be, except for a few bugs and glitches, which are to be expected in a work in progress. Once in a blue moon, this app crashes. But other than that, faster than the other chrome versions. I actually prefer to use this app in lieu of the more stable, yet slower, google chrome, chrome beta, or the developers version. Canary tends to update quite often and improve each time that happens, whereas other apps' updates are injurious to the app.

it says unstable so I'm all in. it's pretty great cause sometimes it is better than normal chrome. the new layout or designs are awesome to see. Other times, your start the app and it crashes or just gives you a blank screen. it's actually just really funny to see that happen, not so much annoying. awesome when it works, it warned you that it won't always work so when it doesn't it's funny to see the bugs.

I am an appaholic .. You know.. I think I need every app I look at. Lol Just like most of you.. At one point I had a dozen browsers. Now I'm down to 2. This one and another offers more privacy, only becaus add-ons and extensions can easily be added. It also allows for multiple windows with is great for keeping multiple searches organized and separate. However it is very slow. IMHO Canary is the only browser that deserves 5 stars.
