Sorely disappointed with the ridiculous download feature that adds yet another unnecessary step to using the increasingly cumbersome Android system. 08032021 Update When did Chrome become so absolutely useless. Crashes, freezes, hiccups in searching, experience over the past 3 months on Note 20 has been nothing short of abysmal. Just deleted it, switching to Mozilla! 10182021 - This issue has been partially fixed, though many documents still require this additional step. Resolved finally!

I've used it as the browser for listening to audio stories on my tablet. So I can open lots of pages, mainly bbc audio, YouTube for over 50yr old us sci fi, & free audio books sites and Twilight Zone TV audios & a radio versions done more recently!! But I worried about this upgrade thing!!! Its working fine & what will this upgrade help with/do?!????

For some reason, the tabs turned into lists mode instead of tile/grid mode, and I can't group tabs anymore. This also happened in my Chrome as I have both the dev and the regular one. I already tried turning on the tab grid option in chrome://flags, it would fix it, but after sometime the tabs will eventually turn into list instead of grid once again.

This is the worst browser ever made completely garbage always have to Uninstall it and the settings and options don't do what you choose... I keep selecting not to ask me to save what is download and it shows every time and I'm sick of having to keep downloading it it 5 time's a week because of all the errors anybody who has this browser should delete it

So far i like the features and the browzer speed seems decent considerind im useing a device that is slower then i used to as well as space limitations and i i seem to have not been frustrated enough to break it ..so if it hapens i send an update when i upgrade so i can double check the overall quality . i not put extra time to see if i can break it .. Ok i will hopfully update my review without damages thanks dev team for simple brozer that runs on "smartphone" (stupidphone)

I wanted to like this... No offense, but I don't really like default Chrome, especially since I can't remove it. Chrome Dev feels better, but it feels slow. Maybe it's my awful phone, but overall it's a pretty good alternative to the original.

The app has one problem with me it's working well at the first time, maybe in the first 2 weeks and if you update it, It could stop working , and sometimes without updating but if you reinstall it again, it will be very good, but you may lose your data if you haven't a buck up, the same problem with chrome canary, in general it's better than the regular version. Dev Chrome was working for a while and now it's not working at all, like it's not loading any site or anything. Though regular Chrome works perfectly fine. Please fix this issue ASAP.

Needed to clear data to get latest version working. It would not resolve any websites after the last update, but clearing all data fixed the issue.

Been a few months now. It works. Seems to download a bit faster. Can't expect much more. I'm pretty happy with it. Can't get Gmail to launch it by default. Not a big deal.

Edit: have to clear all data and it started working again Something happened today, and now no pages load at all. Regular chrome is fine. This is currently totally borked.

Won't connect to the internet when the base Chrome browser app does. Internet Wi-Fi is connected to mobile device and I have not made any browser app settings changes.

It was a really good app before the more recent updates. It was a good alternative to power browers because of the add blocker, but as of recent updates its terrible. It crashes constantly and is very unresponsive. No matter how many times I refresh I'm having issues with it not loading properly or having letters randomly missing that I have to highlight to see.

Everything was working fine. But suddenly it stopped working. Unable to load the browser. Normal chorme browser is working fine.

great web browser. I do use a different web browser now, not because this one was bad, but because the new one i am using just has better features for me. Even so, this is one of the best web browsers i have ever used, and i cannot reccomend it more.

For a Google Developer you can appreciate the same experience they have when you are interacting with they Services using this browser... A guarantee to be updateded everytime we have something new, and not always is relevant and we booth try our best to satisfy each other with more improvement then we expected... 😏💖🙋🙇 But ok, let's open again and maybe, I will notice something inside that new update. Lol this is sooo much better than the normal chrome. Sometimes the normal chome takes so much space,memory and battery life this dev version doesn't its way more secure and it can even detect data leaking and fix it. The lite mode and the simple view is smooth and great. Even though this is a dev version I have never had any stability problems like I have used the dev version for all most 2 years. Trust me

Latest version won't resolve DNS for anything. Changing secure DNS settings doesn't resolve (geddit?!) the issue.

Why can't I install Chrome Deb? I had to reset my phone because Google Play Services will not install.or update many of my apps ostly search engines)....All I have on my phone to use is Google...help!

App isn't working. It'll be bad if I've to loose all my saved bookmarks & pages. Please look into the app why it isn't working. 😭

This rating is based on the new update only. I wonder why there is no information on the "what's new" page for the new update release or am I the only one who couldn't seeing it? If I'm wrong then I'll make a new rating.

Hello team google, chrome dev run time was crashed many time and it is not working on my phone. And very importantly many important tab were opened which are I can't open them. Please look into the matter please

The app is great and fast. It has enhanced protection and extended preloading now which I like. Being able to use was always good. Only problem is that it doesn't have a bottom toolbar. Also an adblock or the ability to add extensions would be good.

Pictures given said the tab will be in list form but what I see is grid form. I miss list form because it looks organized.

It just has always been my favorite.i love the little tab bar at the bottom where you can switch with ease.

It is the same as Google but has your search linked and it faster. whould just use google chrome instead

I thought it was good app then I saw everything used made up caused but since I'm believe in 1st amendment rights. I forgave all long ago but using Id . one that can help me figure out what who to use fate lays in hands of truth trust on one started the app going bad but I no who did falts I only want others kept private but idk what or who used my app made it hirable. please if anyone understands why I can't gets help? oh with app comment
