– How does the automatic avatar personalization work in Chudo?
The process of avatar generation starts by constructing a user’s 3D face model from a selfie shot. With this single photo, one neural network builds a 3D mesh of the user’s head. Then the mesh goes through the automatic stylization process that makes it look more cartoonish. Afterwards, it is used as a basis of the avatar’s head. Next, other neural networks swing into action. Face parts such as hair, eyebrows, facial hair and colors are classified and synthesized (generated) onto the mesh in the appropriate style. Moreover, if a user is wearing glasses another neural network will detect and synthesize a 3D version of them. All of this was made possible because the company has collected a unique dataset of 20,000 3D High Fidelity Face Scans including people of different races, genders, ages. This is the backbone of Chudo’s personalization and facial performance capture technologies.

Pretty good and I love how the avatars eyes and eyebrows look like you! They're instantly recognizable that way. The problem is, it only works with a very very limited amount of phones; only one of my friends has a compatible one and it crashes (for me it works fine).
very good app but like every other app always need improvement it also needs few improvements i won't talk about all but 2 of them, 1. add customization feature. 2. chumoji needs to be a little more realistic like adding shadow of hair and glasses on its face, though it still looks much better then other competitors.
How do I invert the camera so when I scroll right, it looks right? *edit* when you swipe your finger to the right the camera Scrolls to the left, it's inverted in your app. Every application that has a 3D interface usually has the ability in the options menu to invert or to not invert that camera option. I am so used to the camera scrolling right from the first person view when I swipe my finger to the right that I can't get used to it doing the opposite.
Other than the eyes the expressions look great. The eyes of the characters look stoned and doesn't move if you guys add expression to the eyes (enlarge, squint, etc) it will look more realistic. Still a fantastic app tho with out iPhone. Once that's implemented 5star for sure
App won't open now Update that's great about the skin colour option however the app worked fine for a day and a bit, but now it crashes before you can get to the opening page of the app. Reinstalled and cleared cache data still not opening.
Im having a hard time figuring how the app was able the send me a text, and then read the contents of that text without my permission. This probably means that the app somehow has access to your sms messages without you explicitly granting permission. Very shady.
This app is really good and impressive, its cool that you added custom ones and now you can have glasses, but now there is only 4 options to choose from including the custom one and im not sure if thats on purpose but I also cant even see the paid ones if I wanted to buy any.
Installed this app with the assumption that I would be able to record my avatar on my camera, but from what I can tell from using the app and these comment responses...the developers, for whatever reason, have done away with that option and put it in islands, which I'm not interested in at all. I am uninstalling this app now, totally useless to me without the camera & recordig features I thought it had.
Moving the camera option to island only is not cool, you guys need to launch another app version, or bring back the previous camera, focused on the free use of the avatar, like animojis... You guys are wasting the face scan feature potential
Stops working after the face scan. Its show oops something went wrong while scanning. Then it keeps loading for a eternity. Need a fix as soon as possible. Thank you
So far after searching many apps this is the best. You can text a message to go with them and theres so many choices. Easy to use and several fronts.
This is a realy good app, I realy was not expecting so much, good job! All I request is smoother movement, blended hair colours,more hairstyles and ear accessories as well as different eye positions, thanks!

Hey there ! I have just given it 4 stars as we are not able to change skin tones and wear different type of accessories. Please could u update the app and bring these two things in it . Rest the app is really good
Love these and use them frequently. Friends have said they always look forward to opening messages up. Though I gave this 5 stars, two things would improve this: add cute Christian emojis and categorize them more clearly. Great app!!
the most useless thing that's ever been on my phone - it doesn't really design an avatar to looks like you it just changes it's hair and eyes colors based on yours.
This app deserved a 5 start until the latest update moved the camera to island alone. Now the animation looks so dull and unable to use it much.
This app is really superb , i luv it so much but if these characters have green background and other type of background so it would help me to use it in green screen,, pls sir provide more background color ,there is only white color😅😅 i wish you will add green screen background as soon as possible 😊😊

it was working before now it freezes after the face scan on well done then an Opps error just keeps popping up...tried on two different phones same thing.
I was using this app only because I could use the avatars to record videos. It was absolutely fantastic until they removed that feature. Uninstalling now.
App is not getting downloaded....it's stuck with 78%....after that it's not even moving.....I tried with wifi and mobile data...can you please check and let us know.

Something very suspicious, its messing with my phone from the start i got this app, i was about to register when it froze, threw me out and my phones backround picture was suddenly lost. I immediately deleted this.
the app is amazing in mapping the face but lack customization. Just need someting more & extra to get higher stars!!
Wish they did picture avatars rather than video or gif ones. But other than that it's pretty good. Look better than the samsung ones in any case, and look as good (if not better ) as the iphone one
Its a scam.After you install it asks for number .OTP comes at your phone but it will be unable to verify OTP. Chudo says it is messaging app but the way it portrays itself (market) as AI avatar app it is SCAM , misleading , humiliating ,time waste .
I loved this app for the preset animations, but for some time now, when I tap the 3D box in the upper right, then the sticker icon at the bottom middle, it simply loads a white screen, with no animations. It used to take a while for them to load, and now, nothing at all, unfortunately. Would gladly rate 5 stars again, if the presets would load. :( Am I doing something wrong? Any help would be great-- thank you! (Using Samsung Note 10+/Verizon)
