On my previous phone (Galaxy S7/Android 8) notifications didn't work. I had all the settings and permissions on, but I could only see the red dot by the bell if I opened the app, no sounds, no popups/ banners. Then I got a new phone (Galaxy S20 FE/Android 11) and suddenly notifications work... the settings are buried 4 layers deep under "account", and I wish there was a daily digest email option... I liked the Wix app better.
Clunky messaging interface, no ability to make threads or react to messages (very common, even standard these days). Massive downgrade from slack and discord. would be better represented forum style like groupme, discord, etc rather than as text message style.
Cannot connect to more than one church at once. And the only way to switch churches is to delete the app!
I have been able to use this app until today. I guess the update on Apr 14 changed things now it doesn't open . It says. null is not an object (evaluating'c[0]'). Please fix this.
The app works okay on my phone but I need it on my computer to make notifications and alerts as well as setup reminder messages and it's almost impossible to open on a computer. FRUSTRATING!!!!
Crashed while in groups, messages. Error: null is not an object (evaluating 'C[0]'); i cleared data, Uninstaller and reinstalled, same error.
Hello, for the most part it is very convenient. However, when it comes to tax time, I have a hard time downloading and printing statements. Last year the statement didn't download at all. This year it downloads but the sharing button doesn't work. What is the use of having a convenient way to give if you can't access statements at the end of the year?
Won't let me enter the code from my email, the keyboard disappears. So frustrating!!
Every other time I get notifications and go to read them I have to sign up all over again... even though it's giving me notifications for my account and groups... but I can't read them. It's frustrating.
The purpose of the app is awesome but it never works you have to reinstall it every single time to use it
Three times I have tried to submit my tithe in the past 12 hours and 3 times it gives me an error message, telling me to contact my administrator, whoever that may be.
I've had to delete and reinstall this app multiple times and still when I try to register for an event it locks up and flashes back and forth between screens. I have to log in on my computer to register for things at my church. The app is great when it works but when it doesn't it's worse than nothing! Even reinstalling it isn't solving the problem now!
It would be nice for the app to have the ability to send an email to a group. I have looked all over the app and cannot find this functionality. If it is present, it is not intuitively located. The full Planning Center website has this functionality; I would like for the app to have it as well. And it would also be nice for group emails to have reply all functionality. Currently, a group email recipient only has the ability to reply to the sender. There are many situations where a reply all communication needs to be sent. If reply all functionality is present from the full Planning website, it is not intuitively located as I have not yet been able to find it. I have rated this app as 3 Stars due to this lack of functionality. I would rate this app with more stars if this functionality is added.
Everything is zoomed in like 500% across the entire app. It was working great for a while, but now it's like everything is zoomed in and the touch areas are off because of it. I'm on Galaxy s21 Ultra. All of it is zoomed in, except for the messages portion of groups. I had to reinstall the app and it's fixed now. It seems like this is a common occurrence that has to happen. Something messes up. Uninstall and reinstall. This is the second time this week I've had to do this.
Not impressed. I installed and uninstalled multiple times trying to get the sync calendars option to work. A church friend notified Church Center of the problem. She received an email saying the problem had been corrected. Uninstalled and installed again per instructions and it still won't sync. I get a notification "unable to launch event". I'm not trying to launch an event, I'm trying to sync calendars....
I have had nothing but trouble with this app. To do anything, I have to uninstall and install every time.

Worked great until about a month ago. When I use the give option the app just starts flickering. Anyone else report this. I just uninstalled and installed again but still does it.
It seemed easy to install, but I get absolutely no sound. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling three times and still no sound. The volume is turned up all the way and I have tapped to unmute. I did email Planning Center and they told me it wasn't their problem to contact my church. Very frustrating
New to this, was pretty simple to navigate. 🙂
Continuously crashes when just typing in the app.
I like most of the app except getting 3+ emails every week about my recurring ach donation. I set it up as recurring I don't need to know it was started then received then final every week! It's obnoxious! I tried turning off the notifications but I bet it will only not send me the final receipt which is the only one I'd like to get
My new church. Just got the app seeing if it worth having to talk to my church family and groups
The app started making me login every time. Now it has stopped letting login saying that I am under 13 years old. I am 60+ years old! I tried to uninstall and reinstall. It is still doing the same. Have tried the 'contact us' route with no response. Tried to email the support address listed in other reviews and it was kicked back saying there was no such address.
Our church began using this app in mid-2021. We have had a few glitches reported from our congregants as well as the most recent, which is that the map (directions) does not open and we have yet to figure out why this stopped working. There also could be some enhancements made to what we can do with the overall design in the Publishing portion of the app. It is still fairly limited and it would be nice to have some ability to customize color, font and the appearance.
