Church Hymnal

I enjoyed the app before I upgraded it. Immediately after upgrading it became difficult to search for hymns. It kept referring me back to my phone's home screen. I like the new colours and features. Searching for hymns should be made easier so that I don't have to always go and sort for hymns by numbers each time I open the app. It also responds slowly when it's searching for the typed hymn number. I really prefer the speed of the former. I honestly regret upgrading this app

Very good app containing most of the Anglican hymns and liturgy but contains too many ads. I'll prefer to pay n get rid of the too frequent ads. Also, the liturgy is not synchronised. You have to return to home page each time you want to read another section of the liturgy. It should be made readable from beginning to end and allow side links that use the space on the left side of the liturgy for quick references instead of returning to the home page. Good job. Keep improving

I don't know what's wrong with the App. It was opening when I first installed it but after a while, it couldn't open. It only pops up "Unfortunately, Church Hymnal has stopped"! All efforts to get it working has been abortive.

I observed after the update, the following 1. The liturgy is now merged to one page, it was easier to navigate page by page with the appropriate headings as it was. 2. The numbering of the hymns does not correspond with the numbering in the new hard copy ''The Church of Nigeria Hymnal" used widely in church. 3. The hymns are incomplete compared to the new Church of Nigeria Hymnal. 4. It is now online and not offline as it was. Having data on during church service could create a lot.

The app is as good as useless since the last update. You click on a hymn and it is another hymn altogether. You search by number nothing comes up. You search by heading, nothing comes up. Very frustrating. It used to be the best hymn app but I don't know what happened to the developer.

Anglican I stand. A very nice. Carry go. I recommend it to every Anglicans. I noticed that this app and the new church hymnal book are not the same in number of the songs. Pls help upgrade it cos it's so disheartening when others are singing and u will be watching still. 17/01/2021.

The app is cool but please when I tap the collect after reading and want to go back to read the next it's returns me to the home screen instead of the previous screen please fix it in the update and the option button at the top right corner isn't responding

There are many typographical errors in some of the hymns. It can be reviewed. I however prefer it to CONACH that has no history of date and composers attached to a hymn

You didn't do the corrections, even the old version is better than this. The search is too slow, so many hymns joined together, so many numbers duplicated (083) so many, their words not complete (440 vs 5) please update, thanks

Works better before the update. Searching for hymns have become very difficult. The number and the hymns don't correspond.

Good app but the ads are annoying. Can I upgrade to a paid version. I am in the church singing and some nasty ads are popping up. Not good enough

wow. so perfect, i really love this. its best hymnal i have downloaded so far. it has everything that goes along with Anglican communion and it also has the study of Anglicanism. kudos to the initiator of this app, you have done real good

Whaoh! Exactly what I was looking for and missed for months downloading other apps! Now I finally found it. Please, kindly work at adding audio button to teach those ones we do not know. You are indeed meeting a spiritual need; feeding the sheep with songs that heal the soul. Thank you for giving your time to this project. Please know, that it is meeting our needs. God bless you guys! Amen. I will surely recommend and share it.

hymn 309 and 369 has been juggled together. it needs separation. if you want to open " Jesus my lord, my etc" it doesn't come up but on index it is there as 309. this needs clarification , separation and adjustment. good work.

The contemporary society sees information as light, therefore it must be lighter in conveyance as compared with the society of the past where information was so cumbersome in carriage. I commend the frantic efforts of this team for a job well done in that I am now having documents of my faith in my palm. But, you still need to work more on the liturgy because it cannot be accessed fully. Number 4 item is an example.

Too many ads, could have been a great app. Edit: Also noticed some missing hymns. Very disappointing.

More attractive outlook, clearer view, easier to access and all the other errors in the former one corrected.

Poorly complied and arranged. Difficult to locate hymns, Needs a content page. Hymn numbers do not correspond with hymn titles. Needs more work.

Thanks for the App. But I think that the inclusion of tunes will also make the app more relevant to users. This is the next way to go seriously .

Real hard work and efforts put in the update. The search command is not working. Please check. Thank you for your swift response to my complaint above. This has been largely addressed but please try and search for "Sweet hour of Prayer' and see what happens. Search is still not OK. Please search for" Sweet hour of Prayer " and see what happens. Type 1 or 001 or 017 and see what happens. Please attend to these bugs. Thank you.

Please the search engine is not working. I have tried to search hymns with words but not getting through.This was not so until after I did update. The app is very helpful

Wonderful...i had been waiting to get this app. God bless you all. Recommendation: Need audio sound to be added to the hymns.

Very Useful and Efficient. Great for Worship in the presence of the Lord. It would be nice if Morning Prayer is added.

Nice. All in one. Let the church season under the daily collect be corrected pls. We are not in trinity yet.

I updated to android 10 and the app suddenly starts to freeze. The app does not seem to work for android 10. Please help fix.

The new update has disrupted the working of the app. The app has been malfunctioning ever since I updated it.

The app doesn't work. Liturgy, Canticles and Litany doesn't open (showing blank white spaces). It's only hymns section and Psalm section that opens. I tried opening it even with internet on. Please fix so I can give a good review.

I love it so much, especially the collect that I'll read before going to church and the Psalms that's easy sing. I rate this app five star rating.

Just downloaded it but was impressed by the array of its coverage. Kudos!
